Yes, so far as I can tell. It installs but I haven't customized anything yet and don't have any Tegra games to test with it either. So try it, I dont see any problems so far.
Dual coring it from my Galaxy S II

nintendo ds emulator?

is there one that works for our phones?
Technically yes. TigerNDS and Nds4droid both will work on our device. But they are slower than a snail. I'm hoping that the GSIII will have a quad core processor so I can see how well the DS emulators runs on quad core.

Its called nds4droid and its no longer on the play store
Maybe the maker moved to another app store Google it and find out

Why are DS emulators so slow though? Isn't this phone better spec'd than a freaking DS?

I have no clue. I've been wondering the same thing.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA
That's why I've said for this phone.I'm assuming that the emulator hasn't been updated for high end phones
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA
It seems not too many devs are focusing very hard on emulators. I mean, there's a working PSX emulator for crying out loud. But no one can make a working DS emulator? Gimme a break...

Better start learning how to program now...
I think since all of them got pulled from the market devs just lost interest

When you are emulating something it takes a lot more power to run the software smoothly than the hardware it was meant to run on...rule of thumb I read was generally about 2 to 3 times faster is needed to run it halfway smoothly

There is another thread on xda about it and they say
decent emulation takes about 5-10 times the power to emulate.
and ive heard that emulating the DS is extremely difficult .
They also say that day emulation on pc is not very good....fps low

ds emulation is great on pc, but i see why it would suck on phones

I can second that. Back before Pokemon Black/White came to America, I played Black on a PC emulator. It was great emulation. From what I've read, it's not the emulator itself that makes emulating ds games hard, but it's the game files used for the games that's the issue. Apparently its also very slow on Tegra 3 devices as well.

try this
theres actually one emulator that im using from the market thats great try it type in G.B.A emulator

Yea my transformer prime could not get any of those NDS emu's...needless to say I was sad lol
A problem with a lot of console emulation is it doesn't take well to multi-threading. This is especially true of Nintendo hardware. Hell, Dolphin (Gamecube Emu) needs a Core i7 to run at any decent speed.

I believe you but it's just so preposterous. On a side note, it'd be nice if Samsung would patch the bluetooth in GB so I could use my Wiimote with emulators. With the release of ICS around the corner, I doubt it'll happen though. At least it works on ICS. I wonder why the BT drivers are so different.

You said that Wiimotes work on ICS? Is that stock ICS leaks that it works on or is it other ICS Roms like CM9 and AOKP? I hope it's the Stock leaks.

It's the stock leaks. But if you try one of them be forewarned, the scrolling sucks donkey balls.

Gba emulator

just got a Samsung galaxy nexus and none of the gaming (gameboid, john gbc) emulators I have tried to use have worked yet and I have tried everything to get it to work but nothing, can I get some help?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA
Tiger GBA, a basic ad based but free emulator. Try it it works for me.
you my friend are a genius!
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA
Thanks man, glad I could help you out.
Did you download the gba_bios.bin file when trying gameboid? Because it's working flawlessly for me.

Gameboid works fine on my galaxy nexus
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
I can assure you, OP, that Gameboid does work. You need an external Gambeboy Advance bios file, however, to which we cannot link.
You should test all *oid Emulators from yongzh. They all work very good and they are free.
I think sometimes the other emulators who are still in the Google Market are just cheap copies of the *goid

Zeemote?

So I got a zeemote today for free and its a good idea but isn't really supported by many game developers. Do y'all think it ever will or just who created it?
Btw its a controller for Android phones who don't know what it is.

Anyone tried Dsoid?

As title says, has anyone bought Dsoid from the Play Store? Its a DS emulator based on Desmume in early stages but the dev has been pushing updates regularly so I bought to support, costs $1.99. Not much titles work with it yet and not all features have been ported over yet but still bought it because it seems to have some potential.
In particular, has anyone tried Pokemon Diamond with it and got it to run smoothly? Thanks.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
I purchased as well and tried diamond. It's slow but the dev seems to be progressing in that so I'm just waiting for stable game play. I hope they can get it working because I'm too cheap to get a ds just to play the newest Pokemon games. That's the only reason I would get one and now I don't have to. Wonder if black and white will be up for grabs any time soon.

Anyone else try Dsoid out?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Seems pretty playable using an OCed CPU and GPU (@ 650mhz) with Clemsyn's Elite Kernel. Only played a few mario games though. I hope it progresses, it has a lot of potential.
I'm running Pokemon Diamond on it with the elite kernel oc to 1.8ghz and it runs great.

I'll be giving Pokemon a go later, or possibly tomorrow.
I just get a white screen when loading a rom. I'm on bug less beast with faux's kernel.

Might have to try this setup then. Running Der Kernel and it was very slow for me.

Yeah, this...until you actually get into the gameplay. The app needs some major optimizing before it becomes remotely playable.
Installed, tried NSMB, hated the frame rate, refunded.
I downloaded FF IV and it was laggy.
Just buy it and support the guy. Its getting better.
