Is it possible to change the language? For instance can i download an english rom and flash it on my dutch phone??
Yes, but wait for the HardSPL to be developed beforer flashing. (most roms are english here)

I have a HTC touch pro 2 in German and I would like to refla**** in english or Dutch
I downloaded the english rom update but is not working . ISeems thatthe update look the Serial number which is associated to the German language .

If you want to install a cook rom you NEED to Hard SPL you rhodium first!!!

Not to be rude.. but I wouldn't put money in an expensive device if I was unsure whether or not it would be in my native language. You could really damage the phone if you change the rom...

Hi everyone.
Dudes, my phone changed language at half.
I'm using this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4577408&postcount=3
So, till yesterday it was in english, but today when I woke up the home tab was in spanish (my native language).
I don't have any problems with english, indeed is the one I use the most for my phones, but it's strange that only the home tab is in spanish, the rest of my phone is still in english.
If I go to mail it says "correos -> enviar y recibir" (which means "mail -> send and receive" in spanish) but when I open "correos", inside it says "mail" again and everything else since that point is in english. And that goes for any other setting/application that I use.
It's like if the system by itself detected my zone and then changed the hometab to my language.
Is there any way to change it back?

So guys I solved it.
I used the tweak to force Sense to recognize a defined language and it works ok now.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\MUI\CurLang from "c0a" (probably spanish) to "409" (english)

Hello everyone, new to posting but not new to xda. Love this site and thanks for the support!
I just flashed synergy/kingdom last night and lost the English language by accidentally setting it to spanish, does anyone know how to get it back? English doesn't reappear on the list. It only says:
Espanol
Portugese
and 3 other languages I cannot comprehend
Or, do I have to flash the rom again?

Hello Android people! Im sorry if my question is somehow stupid, I dont know anything from Android devices.
A friend of mine asked me to get him a phone. We are in Scandnavia which means there are Scandinavian languges + WWE on the device. He would like to get Dutch or German language, so I thought I just flash a new rom. I downloaded an official European rom but the languages stayed the same.
What am I missing here?
Did ya try going into settings/ language & keyboard? Change language there

Currently I am stock rooted UAE ROM.
As I am willing to flash the French stock rom in order to have the split screen features which are not available in my current rom, the only major loss for me will be to lose the Arabic support in Samsung stock keyboard.
In similar experiences with Galaxies, I used to depend on SwiftK keyboard for Arabic language typing support. But with the new Note, I need also to use the strong advanced handwriting recognition features available only in Sam keyboard & using Spen! Seems confusing!
Ok simply my question is:
Is there anyway to get back only the Arabic language in Sam Keyboard after flashing the French ROM? I am already rooted so I thought there might be anyway through Titanium Backup forexample!

Does anyone know where the files are located that can make this return from English to Spanish?
Everything is in Spanish except what is circled in the photos. How to put it in Spanish? In the rom, Spanish is selected as the main language. But this comes out in English ...
