[Featured XDA][Notification Menu]Excuse Me!

I was using VA Mix V1 theme for my SGS. I just changed the background of the notification menu.

I am using this on Doc's rom JS3. I have made a CWM flashable zip but I am not too sure if it will work. So, I recommend using the method in post 2.
Want her on your stock theme?

Or make a backup and then push twframework-res.apk to /system/framework/
and reboot

I was happy with V1, using it with transparent notification. Think V1 was better than GenerationX at that time for me. Maybe Gen X has improved since then.
Meanwhile those who have tried this on other roms/themes can share the info if it works or not.

Recommendation, Push touchwizframework-res.apk to /system/framework and reboot.
You can use root explorer or adb for that.

im confused, would this work for any android device or just the i9000? this thread was featured in the home page of xda, would love this for a Dell streak, also i couldnt help but noticed that the brightness feature is missing, it would be awesome if that could be added

I am delighted and proud of this as this has now been featured on XDA.
For those running other devices ( Dell Streak or Spica i5700) if you have twframework-res.apk in the directory /system/framework/ upload it here and I will take a look at it. I only have an SGS so I can only test it for SGS.

[Battery] Gingerbread Battery w/ Percentage for Darky's 9.3 Final

Since Darky removed the % from the battery icons, I've decided to make a modification to 9.3's framework-res.apk with battery icons from Darky's 7.x

Yo have to extract whole framework folder from Darky's ROM, replace framework-res.apk with file attached above and replace all files in /system/framework with files extracted from Darky's ROM with adb in recovery (or make update.zip with those files)
If you're interested I made an update.zip with Darky's 9.3 theme and battery icon shown above. You can install it with CWM recovery on any JP*/JS* deodexed ROM. After installing go directly to Advanced ClockworkMod Menu and Wipe Dalvik cache. First boot will take a few minutes.
Download: Darkys 9.3 theme with batt percent.zip (13.79 MB)
Of course all PNG's optimized and zipaligned.
PS: Do a backup

Hi, I have Darky Rom 10.2.2 (JVQ) but I love the Darky Rom 9.3 battery icon with the percentage and the different colors. When I try to install in Darky 10.2.2 it gives me an error.
Do you know how to make the battery icon work on JVQ Darky rom?

it´s based on seilent´s mono theme, which i modified a little bit to a black grey style. many thanks to seilent at this way!!its for KPN 2.3.3 Deodexted

You can add twframework-res.apk to your archive in framework folder, it is work fine, I did that.
All apps that you modified disappear from apps, but can be started from twlauncher at the home screen.

that's bug is as the same on the mono theme from selient's (ajiaya) has....
i've report it tho him, but seems like he doesn't realize my PM on kaskus...., it happen on all KPN...

I interface Problem on Copy paste on any app.. I already Flash my rom to KPN with no Theme copy paste works fine but when i install the Theme the problem continue..

which rom do you use? i only change a few icons in the settings.apk. but i think that can not be the problem...

Don't give up . but yeah I realize this is actually a perfect zip for someone who wants to make their own theme, just extract apks and swap out the ones you mod within that same zip, rename it. and bam.

Ok so I'm need of some help. I love the purple theme but IMO, I think the other themes from his previous ROMS are better...so how would I go about extracting those themes and using it on New Beginning? Is it possible or would it bream anything? Thanks

Hello guys ;
This is my first developing i'm working on c# btw
We all know Samsung gave us the new value pack JW4 a week ago.And it has built in TW4.BUT STILL same TW3 icons !
Now i made something .I replaced TW3 icons to TW4 S II icons.
But it's not a flashable zip.You need to do it with root explorer.
Flash CF root for JW4 if you don't have root access.
Then install root explorer and run it.
Now download the file from hotfile and extract it to your internal SD.main directory example
then copy the modified apk to system/app and choose yes for overwriting
Don't copy all of the apks at the same time.One by one okey?
When it's done reboot your phone and enjoy (new icons will be appear at the latest page of app drawer customize yourself

I didn't write its for odex or deodex.Because it's not important I didn't change any .odex files so...
Just replace the apk to change .)
AND when you change it if you NOT gonna reboot the phone you can't see the app
it will back with ne icon when you reboot .)

I tried rebooting many times. After copy new files new apks are lost and they arent visible in tw launcher. I musted reflash phone to fix it.
