Yes. They do. I seen somewhere in the forum people got theirs already.

Look on Etsy, tons of people make phone cases in the style that you want. The nice thing is that you can get almost any design in a size that will fit your Galaxy Nexus because you can contact the sellers directly and request a custom size.
I've used tuff luv: they had cases for the i9250 listed as coming soon, no longer there though.
and there's a thread in here about Ease case:

This type? Got it my self and it fits great then had to put it all back in the box, wrap it up and wait for christmas lol

i know this is a long shot but i just bought the Galaxy Nexus from Google directly , and i would like to know if its possible to get a case that will still let me use the official Samsung dock?
thanks for your help
Would love to know as well. I've always wanted a dock but assumed that me using a case prevented that.

I don't think any of the cases fits with the official dock.
I am curious if the GN still fits in the dock with a skin on it (like XO-Skins full body or idefense carbon / skinomi etc)
check 0.2 mm ultra thin case on ebay im using it, it offers scratch protection only tho but it is thin like no case at all and surprisingly the cutting is really good for a low price like $2 or 3

Probably not. The dock is perfect fit. Even with zaggs or similar types. Then the even bigger challenge is getting pins to reach pins because the case will separate the distance further. Some serious modding will have to be done to get this to work. Or just do it the old fashioned way. Take case off. Insert phone. Take phone out. Put case back on. Simple and elegant.
sent with 3g courage. better recognize. 4g courage coming soon. stock up on diapers.
None that I know of. Funny thing, most cases have openings for the pogo pins.

Funnier still is that some of the third party micro USB docks have removable inserts that allow you to dock the phone with and without a case.
Bang-up job on that dock design, Samsung.
Hello all,
I've been searching but haven't found any thread's on this yet. If there are, sorry for the repost .
I'm looking for a case for the Note with a hand strap. So far I've only come across the Zenus Galaxy Note Masstige Stripe Print Folder Series which have it.
(Which at this time I can't post a link towards apparently .......)
Does anyone know of any other cases with one of those bands for holding? I think it would be very convenient to have a feature like this on the case. However the striped looked of this particular Zenus doesnt really do it for me ...

I have the case you are referring to; its top notch... Excellent for the Note.
But, if u dont like the look u might be out of luck. I find it attractive.

Sounds like something that would be doable to mod into other cases?
Thanks! Its good to hear that you like the case. I don't think I could easily apply the strap myself without it destroying the case ! I'm thinking of getting the zenus after all cos I haven't been able to find another with this option so far yet. Or another option for carrying comfort
Its very easy to make this strap, I made it myself.
I'm looking for a wallet type case, but one that just has a sleeve for the phone to sit in, I want to be able to take the phone out for use. Most of the ones that I have seen look like you are supposed to just keep the phone in it when making calls, and that seems like it would be a little uncomfortable. I have found something like what I am looking for on the case-mate site...but its only for the iPhone. Has anyone in their case hunt come across anything like the images I have attached?
Thanks.
The BookBook case might be what you're looking for but its for iPhone only :/ maybe just get a sleeve I guess? Haven't really seen cases like the one youre looking for. Maybe we should bug the maker of BookBook to make one for our phone but they seem like an Apple only company which sucks

Check SGP they have a wallet case.

Just sold my G Tab 10.1 and picked a 10.1 Note. I've been searching through this forum with no luck so thought I'd ask. Does anyone, hooefully Samsung make a book cover case that is the same as the Tab case? All I have seen is the magnetic book cover but it just lays on the screen. The samsung case I had for my Tab was magnetic as well but had a flap on it that folded over and held it all together.

Your correct there is a Galaxy Note 10.1 Magnetic Book Cover, Gray. http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab-accessories/EFC-1G2NGEGSTA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijrpRzV7V3U
Watch video ... your right no magnet on the front only on the back. This could be due to the fact that magnets can cause the S Pen function to go screwy, so your better off without magnets near the screen.
.
I have that case. I'm actually looking for one just like I hsd on my GTab. Their is a magnetic "clasp" that holds it together. Example here - http://reviews.us.samsung.com/7463/...-tab-10-1-book-cover-case-reviews/reviews.htm

There is one just like that for the Note 10.1, but it doesn't seem to be readily available in the states.
I saw an eBay listing for buying it from China a few days ago while case shopping, but I can't seem to find it again atm. I'll dig through my history and see if I can locate it.
Edit: search for "NEW Ultra Slim Case Cover For Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000 N8010 Black" on eBay (I'll pm a link) It's about $12
Also, I'm a long-term reader, but new poster so it won't let me post a link to the YouTube video that shows it until I've posted 10 times. Blargh.

Even better!
I was considering ordering this one myself, but was iffy on the eBay order and wasn't sure about how heavy it was.
Did your version for the tab add a lot of weight?
P.S. I'm a she. STEPHiroth. I guess I should add an avitar....

Just be careful with those cheap cases from ebay that look like the Samsung book cover (with no extra flap). They are knock-offs and the quality is horrible. There is no microfibre on the inside of the flap, just the same vinyl/plastic material as the outside. The magnets are too strong, so they interfere with the spen. The pen won't write within the 1 inch strip exactly on top of the magnets. You can also tell exactly where the magnets are by the sunken circular areas in the back part of the cover. The flap itself is very stiff and when you try to keep it closed it presses on the power button and causes restarts. I've bought one but I've requested a refund and I now have an original Samsung book cover on the way. It should arrive tomorrow.
This looks possibly promising. http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Slim-Fit-Folio-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B0088I9AX4/ref=pd_sim_e_2

Lots of people linked that one as their favorite in the original, now 50 pages long, case thread. (Worth reading through to get people's opinions on practically every case that has come out.)
The only downside I see is the clip on the front could get in the way if you wanted to use a BT keyboard on the case or if you wanted to fold the case back and use it flat on a desk.
The plus side to the clip is there are no magnets, and it leaves the tablet at a nice angle for typing in landscape mode.

Wow, i like this. but i dont understand why all the samsung made stuff has the fold on the wrong side. when holding like a book, the power button is in a very awkward position. Nearly every 3rd party case flips the device so the power button is in the top right not lower left. I reach for that more than my S pen.
Does anyone have httpFolio Stand Hard Case This case? im leary on an Ebay item i cant get anywhere else.... ie no reviews.
So im torn between This from Poetic or this from Moko. I typically dont like the leather on top of the edges look, but I like all other aspects. anyone have an opionion on either?
I dont mean to hijack the thread, but it seems relevant

I'm pretty sure that eBay one is the same case that The Apostle linked to earlier via Amazon I think both may be knock offs, but either way they cover the charging port when closed. One of the 3 Amazon reviews says teh magnets interfere. YMMV.
As for the ones you linked. I've just finished reading the Cases thread and possibly every review for all the Note10.1 cases on Amazon in my search for a perfect case, so I'll share what reviewers have summarized about them:
The MoKo has an elastic closure and pen loop that the Poetic doesn't have.
It also has a nice open spen slot (at the expense of leaving that corner unprotected from a drop.)
It leaves all ports uncovered and you can charge while it's closed.
Weight: 9oz
The Poetic has more card slots and a magnetic closure (which can supposedly sometimes interfere with the spen)
It offers more coverage for the corner with the spen (which I like) at the expense of making it harder to remove.
It also covers the SD card slot with the case. (Which is no big deal if you leave it in, but if you swap them a lot to transfer camera photos like I do, you would have to remove it from the case.)
Weight: 9.9oz
The Poetic was crossed off my list (due to the blocked SD slot), but the MoKo is still on it even though I was hoping to find a case with an uncovered bezel.

Searched this Forum and web also but unable to find any decent Flip Type cover for Nexus 5. The only available one is the QuickCover from LG and it darn costly . Friends,Any suggestions of an alternate Flip Type cover??
Haven't really seen one like it. Something with a window or notification light hole would probably sell.
Subscribing to this thread because this is something I'm interested in as well, yet I've found nothing. Closest thing I have seen are these gaudy leather folio cases that use a fat curved lip to close and don't make use of the auto wake feature.
Also I found one called an icon Bella but it doesn't have much info. I asked the seller if it would support the auto wake feature and they haven't responded like 4 days later still.

Guys I am under a dilemma, whether to wait for the costly quickcover or go with bumper type cases from 3rd party vendors like spigen. Lets discuss the pros and cons.. of both types of cover hope such a discussion.. would be helpful for people in dilemma like me...
