request gingerbread theme

ive been looking for a gingerbread green color theme for our galaxy nexus and i dont see that anyone has made one , i see there are a few bright green themes out there but im looking for gingerbread green one that replaces all this ics blue

Why did you then get a GNex if you prefer GB???
This post doesn't make any sense...
If you want one, make one yourself... There are enough tutorials, on how to theme for Android..

Relax man. Its guys like you that make people not want to ask questions on here. He asked for a GB colored theme, not for GB itself. I agree with the DIY approach, there's just no need to be rude about it though

You do realize his request is for the COLOR to be changed from ICS Blue to Gingerbread Green, right? He doesn't want the icons changing. I agree, ICS Blue looks too washed out in my personal opinion.

Is there a reason u replied???Ur reply is most childish thing I've read in long time, and is no help to me or anyone else, funny how everyone else understood but u .
yes I'm looking for the GB colors to replace the ice colors I'm using the halo green theme atm and its very very nice but I really like the GB color green, I'm not patient enough to make myself, take someone with very high patients to make something like that IMO .

I have no idea how to but I bet if u guys could get a perfect GB colored theme that just replaces the ics blue and somehow get working with any Rom an .app in the android market would sell like crazy . ( I no not that simple but ....) something like cm7 has with there android themer app, or nova launcher??? I really have no idea on how these things work .

Very beautiful work!! Kinda looking for 100% stock ics theme but gingerbread green instead of ics blue . I am running ur theme now very nice thanks!

First off i would like to say thank you to all the developers who have worked so hard on producing this absolutly outstanding rom for us.
I just had a couple of quick questions on this. I just downloaded fb21 version released by calkulin and was wondering if this is somthing that will be later themed or because it is not completly finished it the ics colors will come with it later?

Your asking about the green icons instead of blue.....that is Samsung and how they messed up ics but yes some people will theme it

Dude its a leak...... Theme sadly might be last or not happen at all =< I will be sad face if they don't and there is a theme for fb17 idk if it will work on fb21

A lot of people are saying the FB17 theme messes things up on the FB21 rom so I would suggest not using it or at least waiting till it gets an update.

Samsung will not use the holo theme on ice cream sandwich. What you see in these leaks, give or take a few minor things, is what you get.
You have to understand that Samsung has more then just some customers on xda that use their device to support. They are not going to overhaul a UI just because some enthusiasts think ics looks cool. (Unfortunate in our case, but clearly makes sense from a business perspective.)
That is why Google offers geds. To get the full Google experience when it becomes available. This is the nature of open source.

Try Another ROM!
I just loaded Mijjah77 ICS Fb21 "The Goodness" and I can't get over how much I love it! I would suggest trying it out. You could possibly wait until the version 1.1 then hopefully the gps bug will be fixed. Other then that, everything seems to running great, once you get the mms/txt bug fixed up (you can do it yourself), but this is ICS and it is awesome!

Figured I'd get a thread going so we don't clog up aero's, bracket's or protekk's threads. Theme engine is officially live on cm9 and now AOKP... cm7 themes are working to an extent. Wanted to get this going to share what themes you've tried and how compatible it is. Specify whether you are on aokp or cm9, as they use different launchers.
There are 3 paid cm9 themes in the market by dev sonny sekhon (as of 5/9)... I haven't tested these, but you can read the play store comments.

Confirmed that androidian and the purple holo theme work on cm9, so appropriate credit to the OP of the linked thread and most importantly the theme creators.
I've also confirmed that an old favorite of mine, simpleBLU is working OK, although there is overlap between 3g icon/arrows and dbm signal strength... this seems to be the biggest issue with GB themes as I'm trying them, being that ics combines those icons...

also downloading the new update... currently at work right now but i get away with things here and there... just miss home, on a crappy deployment in Qatar lol
oh so since i have alot of time here when im off, can anyone point me in the general direction of learning how to compile to theme? i love messing with PS and im a quick learner
Note: havent done a google search or searched on xda so dont point fingers and yell "BLASPHEME!" i know how things go on here... i just havent ever had an account nor posted that much yet thanks hope to become a little more active here .... love the community... ok im just rambling now and getting WAY off subject...

hello i have a Xperia play CDMA R800x LB and i was wanting an UPDATED rom list for the xperia play.
mainly because im bord of the stock UI and launchers use too much ram so if some one could point me in the right direction, i would greatly appriciate it. thanks

I've actually been wanting this too. From my research, the best you can find are GBTweaked, ICSTweaked, and DarkForest. I've tried GBTweaked, but have yet to try the others.

Why a ROM? Why not just flash a theme? If your on Verizon 2.3.3 you can flash one of my theme's. Click the red link in my signature and have a look.

Problem is, he's got an R800X. I'm not sure if Gin2JB Works on it or not...

Since its Sony based rom then yes. If you have looked to ROM thread there are instructions for locked bloader.

Its more the fact that its harder to convert a Sony based ROM than it is to convert an AOSP ROM.

Get GBTweaked and GO Launcher EX, then use the included theme on it. I'm using it, and it runs beautifully. Leraeniesh did a great job with it, and he's constantly improving it. *Cough*It'd be nice to see a version updated for JB*Cough*

Gin2JB is for GSM not CDMA. It wont work on the R800x.

I have been seeing a lot of people talking about the Xperia's launcher, icons and overall system UI and I was wondering if it was possible to bring something like that over to our device.
There is an ICS version on the dev thread but it is very outdated and looks nothing like Xperia save for a few icons and widgets.
Anyone know if it's possible to get something like that for JB? Or if we can at least theme a ROM to look like it?

if you run AOKP or any of these aosp ROMs its easy putting a Experia theme on all you have to do is download it and apply example....https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thomassafca.theme.sonyuxp&hl=en and you download the experia launcher and your good to go

I think ill have to just stick to themes such as the first commenter. Sucks tho since Xperia looks so nice. I was tempted on actually buying that phone but unlocked is too expensive!
