There are two ways to resolve it...
1. Send your Phone to a Service Center if it's still under warranty for a full repair.
2. Use what is only a temporary solution by reading this THREAD

Greetings , I urgently require some help frm someone who knws something, I have got my arc replaced by SE after the 0% battery problem and the firmware is 2.3.3(4.0.1.A.0.283) my question is do u know for sure if there has been an OTA release for 2.3.4(4.0.A.2.368) for India. If it has been released then my neither SEUS nor OTA is showing, and also if anyone knows for sure if there is a link on this forum can someone guide me to it. I have searched but couldn't come up with it Thank u all in advance
P.S: I have a locked bootloader

AFAIK the update is not for a particular device but for a particular region, so if they have released for India then all devices here running the generic firmware that came with the phone would be getting the OTA notification...I wonder how did u get it? Did u flash another firmware after u purchased the arc or did u have the generic one that came installed on the phone?

Euhm where? I dont understand!
After the firmware update will the 0% battery issue resolved?
No, its a hardware issue so you can either send it to a service centre or read the guide for a software fix.

I found a 1% kernel patch here on xda! An i patched it, now my battery indicator says 1% and i can work with my phone again! But now i have a question about upgrading the firmware from 2.3.2 3.0.A.2.181 to 2.3.4 4.0.2.A.0.42. Will the 1% battery patch still work?
do this

Hello guys.
-I have an Arc(LT15i)
-unLockable Bootloader
-Had 0% batt issues
I been searching for the 0% battery solution and i found it. Since my bootloader is unlockable the only option i have is using the zdzihu patch. and yeah that ftf is GB 2.3.4. Thats it! i have to stay in this fw while the other have their fw update come. That is very sad. My question is, is there any developments for this type of problem i have? I mean is there any developers would like to create a patch for bootloader lockked like zdzihu? It is very sad to think when everyone using ics while u still stuck in gb..
The only solution is send it to sony service but i would like to wait and see the developments.
I know the next reply i'll get will be like " just ulock u bl brah". Nope i can't. Just assume i'm living in the middle of the jungle with the internet and smartphone and no1 knows how to fix . TQ guys

Yes, it is possible, however highly not needed. 4.0.2.A.0.62 is the best Gingerbread release for now.
however, you wont be able to root .62

If he makes OTA update, while having root, then root stays aswell. Every other way will remove root.

Download http://hotfile.com/dl/157157011/a0b35ba/LT15i_4.1.B.0.431_Generic.World.FR.7z.html
Then try this
(1) How to flash a stock .ftf Rom
(2) load & place .ftf rom in Windows/flashtool/firmware folder
View attachment 1748658
(3) Open flashtool press lightening icon press flashmode
(4) Select your .ftf you placed in flashtool /firmware folder earlier
(5) Wait! Flashtool will tell you to connect your phone!
(6) Press & hold back button while connecting phone to PC green light will come on.
(7) Wait while flashtool starts flashing your rom. When finished it will tell you to reboot
(8) Finished unplug switch your phone on done!
Try above this returns you to stock rom may work no guarantees depends if you can get phone into flashmode!

I am pretty sure that he will have some fun with these "materials" and "knowkedge"...
But beware!!!
If you aren't sure of how things works in Android, it would be better, and highly advisable, to ke it be the way it is...
Could be dangerous

it is a bad idea to flash an LT15i iberia ROM to a LT15a (the letter "a" means "American"), while the "i" stands for Internacional (i think).
They have another radio frequency that renders them completely incompatible with european ROMs
You'll have to flash back a LT15a ROM, and pray for it to re-survive LOL
