Sometimes when I receive calls, i get "No Caller ID". I'm on EK02 and i saw it when my gf and mom called. Both didn't call me hiding their number...Anyone else experienced this?

I didn't have any messages on Tmo voicemail since I use Google voice. Press the message to call voicemail. Press 1 to send a message. Walk through sending a message to your mobile number. Once verified as sent, hang up. Call voicemail again and you will actually have a message. Listen to it and press 7 to delete. Icon should go away.

I am going to try this right now. I use google voice also and I have yet to find a way to get that voicemail icon out of the status bar. Hopefully this method will work. Thanks for the info,
Hi, this just started happening 2 days ago after I flashed the MIUI ROM. Everytime I get a voicemail, instead of the icon appearing in the status bar, I get a text message prompting me to call my voicemail. Is there anyway to turn this off?
I get that too. Between 2 and 5 messages per voicemail. Really friggin annoying.
My configuration is in my signature.
Text "block 9016" to 9999
That should fix it

The problem of no voicemail indicator remains.
Thanks! I do wonder if it was rom related. I'm running Rubix right now without issue.

That is part of the 'phantom voicemail' bug that is present in many AOSP ROMs. There has been a commit to the CM repos that should clear up that bug, but the newest iterations of MIUI have to be based on a CM ROM that has the big fix implemented for the 'phantom voicemails' to disappear.

What's your setup? If you integrate GV then the voicemails will come through on that. You won't get a voicemail notification via the system but rather through the GV app.
This morning I got seven phone calls from random phone numbers in new Jersey and new York. I think they came from 3-4 different phone numbers. Each time my phone would ring, it would show a quick popup message saying "Forwarded Call". What does this mean? I have call forwarding turned off

Someone is forwarding their calls to your phone number. Next person who calls, tell them to tell the person they're trying to call that they set the wrong number.

What app are you using for texting? How long are the messages you're sending?
If they're simple couple word texts, I don't know what to say, but if you get to the point where a text becomes longer than three messages, sometimes, depending on the app, it will force it to MMS instead.
We need a bit more info to see what's going on.
It's a simple text. Just a few words maybe a sentence. I'm using stock texting app. It only does it when I send it to my wife. No one else.
