you can use it on any rom [2.3.6], just be deodexed.
and make the backup from current "systemui.apk"file for restoring, if it does not work.
Cool mod man! Too bad I'm on odexed firmware and can't use it.

it will be useful for some developers, and some people that use stock roms.
and currently there is no any mods for 2.3.6 roms.
Good work. Thank you for sharing.

Here is a port of manup's theme REVOlution originally for the Nexus One. All credit goes to manup456, please stop by and show him some love on his new site HERE. This is for Enomther's rom only right now. It has been tested on my G2 with both versions but looks best with the non themed version and I recommend flashing the non themed version first before flashing theme. The Icon sets attached can be applied with either Bettercut or Desktop Visualizer in the market.
As usual I'm not responsible for you flashing this.
Directions:
Download non themed version found HERE
Download theme
Put both zips on root of sdcard
Reboot into Recovery
Flash non themed version
Flash theme
Reboot
Enjoy!!!

I see that some roms include this mod. (Move cursor with Volume Up & Down).
The thing is that i use another rom (and i don't have access to Dev page to mention that to rom developers)
Do you know if that mod is flashable (if yes can you give it?) or if i can "extract" it from a rom (and how? ) ?
Thanks in advance.

What ROM do you use? And maybe you can PM the dev and see if they can help you out. Also, I'm not familiar with which ROM has this feature, which is it?
It's in Rasbean Jelly . My guess is there are framework edits that would make any mod ROM specific. I don't think you could find a generic flashable mod to add this to any ROM.

Originally by AOKP:

Commit says it's in the latinIME.apk only...
So here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?hxd1qn5zahqzcmv
Use Root Explorer or similar to move it to /system/app/ and delete the original.
Change permissions to match the other apps in that section.
I went back & looked & when rascarlo added the feature to his ROM he stated...

This is very useful and it's built in the framework so that it works with any keyboard.

So maybe there is more than one implementation (?). I think, at least for the most part, his cherry picks come from CM in his JB ROM

You guys are seriously hilarious No phone to flash. No proper Root yet available.
what exactly do u mean by performance boost and extra tweaks ??
Why are custom ROMs being released before root, CWM, and LAUNCH of the PHONE?

This looks really cool. I assume it's run from recovery? Also, is it compatible with 4.2 or 4.3 ROMs?

It runs from recovery and only 4.4 roms/firmware yet!
I have plans for making it compatible with 4.3 roms on tmobile and at&t
Plus as u can see in aroma it says 'i9505' as it was originally made for that device but if u get me tmobile specific bloat then i can modify the script as i did with at&t!
Cool, I'll play around with it this weekend. Thanks!
