I have modified framework.res for Darky ROM 8.1 this change only top bar icons look screenshoot.
Plz test on other ROM and raport me on what ROM its work.

INSTALATION:
1.Use Root Explorer go to system/framewrk/framework-res.apk <= make backup this file !!
2. Now copy framework from this thread to same directory system/framework/
3. Overwrite the file and restart your phone
Thats all.
I make a fast corect. Feel free to test (I can't make any think more tonight becouse fever)
BEFORE APPLY framework.apk MAKE NANDROID BACKUP !!!

But... no GPS icon ? still testing... (Doc's rom 7.9.5_kitchen)
Edit 2 : airplane mode notification icon not replaced ?

I've seen some posts asking about removing the damn clock from status bar in gingerbread. I've searched and find out it's possible and kinda simple. So i did it
Below you can see the results, and below them you got instructions and download.
This mod is for deodexed JVH only! Flash it over JVO/JVB/JVK etc, or not deodexed JVH, and you got a bootloop ready.
Tested only on GT-i9000.
Theme is only modded for "no-clock", and few icons:
- WiFi icons / signal icons / battery icons
ZIP's are for CWM3.

Ok, lets go:
1. Backup your files!
FOLDER: system/app
-MediaProvider.apk
-Settings.apk
-SystemUI.apk
FOLDER: system/framework
-android.policy.jar
-framework.jar
-framework-res.apk
2. Be sure to copy both flash files to your storage. The "no-clock" and the original theme! If something goes wrong you can always get back to recovery by using the 3-buttons combo and flash original theme. Please keep that in mind!
3. Go to recovery and choose "install zip from sdcard". Then tap "choose zip from sdcard", and navigate to 'XWJVH_Gingerbread_v6.1-noclockmod.zip'. Flash it.
4. Go back in recovery and reboot device. Voila!
BEWARE! - First boot is long - even 5min. It's normal, don't panic!

I would not be able to compile all of this is, if it wasn't for Paul627g and his post in Epic 4G farm here on XDA-dev's. Great job finding that mate!

If someone want to see it in other samsungs GB based rom just notify dev's about it, or... do it yourself!
In Paul627g post theres a short but very good tutorial on how to disable status bar clock. From me one tip: to properly decompile "SystemUI.apk" we need "twframework-res.apk". And thats it. Good luck!

These not, but mod can be easily applied in other roms / miui.
Never used miui before, but don't miui have option for hiding clock in statusbar?

I have no app to change. You can extract my apk in this skin then get icons for contact, msg and dialertab

I just installed it on gingerreal 1.2 and i can confirm it works ok.
Actually like cross21 noted there is something wrong with the battery percentage. Mine was stuck at 90% for a while then it suddenly fell to 80%.

Very nice of you for creating a theme for KPO!
Can you add extended power settings for this theme?
And if I change the wallpaper to another, how can I go back to your wallpaper theme?

Hi.. why not think to fix audio ... You have only to delete System/app and System/framework to a stock based rom for gio and copy/paste the framework and app folder of this rom

But thats not really "porting" the rom, as you will not use any tweaks and build.prop is unmodified

Yes but you can include it in the rom in a second step .. Btw for fix audio you can simple copy/paste the libaudio from a stock gio rom and if you find in the rom .. copy paste the bluez-plugin folder and soundfx folder

Rom is based on Cyanogenmod 7

How to install :
Boot in recovery CWM 5

Reboot after the flashing completes. 1st reboot may take 3-4 minutes. After 1st reboot and setting account, boot again to make everything work.
Bugs:
Video recording doesn't work (install app from store like Camera ICS to record video).
If doesn't connect to computer:
Go to recovery,
mounts and storage menu,
mount USB storage,
reboot.
