trying it out now
1. cant find how to get desktop wallpaper to scroll on this launcher
2. cropping an image to set as wallpaper very dodgy, ie., screen flashes/gets messed up, but if you keep tapping on it and trying to crop, you can eventually get it to work
3. seems like in-call microphone is a little low, people on the other end having a hard time hearing me
4. had the screen shut off animation working, but now it doesnt
5. of course, no wifi, no camera
will report back anything else i find

works with normal animation and "normal" transition speeds (in spare parts, downloaded and installed it after flashing rom) does NOT work with animation and transition speeds on "fast"
bluetooth works to stream phone call audio to car, but no other media is streaming via bluetooth (A2DP)
oh, yeah, calendar not syncing with google account
My wallpapers keep resetting to a black background automatically after the system crashes (expected). Also, is anyone experiencing late text messages? Has anyone tried the labs option in the internet browser? If so I believe the full screen feature in where the user has to slide the thumb from the corners in order to get the short menu is being cut off, maybe a re-sizing issue? Lastly does that feature have a proper name? Thanks.
I know people have mentioned the calendar syncing but I remember that in the second build with data working, the calendar was syncing properly. (just throwing it out there)
Pretty nice to whip out my phone and say "look at my YouTube widget!" (iPhone user: what is a widget?, siri: "IDK")
I went back to my favorite ROM from the build from source for time being I will be back tho cause its really nice.....I just could not do without my headphone Jack....I got the same wallpaper issue with the background going black it happens when the screen rotates I think....also the issue with the cropping of pictures where the screen was unreadable...does anyone use Orbot because I could not get that to load either I use it quite often and is a must for me....i still think the market is a bit wonky...

Hey guys,
this was a hard job and we spend many hours and nights on it. Finally we got it booting for every device. Please remember that this port is still a work in progress. It is not a daily driver for now. We dont know the bugs. The most related things should work. The rom also need resizing. We work close with the Evo 4G team which do that. We need all bug report. Most things are: Network, Wifi, Bluetooth, Rotation, Camera, Camcorder, 3G, Call, Messaging and so on. Please do not report resize problems or ui fails. The ROM is a work in progress, so it wouldn't hurt if the thread get some touch ups here and there too. If you want to donate you can do it, we will split all donations in the team. Read the whole thread. In first post you will find all important things, in second post there is the changelog. Before asking a question check this thread and the Homepage. If you have problems which only have you make a Full EXT4 Wipe...
It was a hard and long job and if you wish to use this rom as base ask me. When not we will talk to a mod.

Download in Progress. =}
Flashed perfectly on first try.
-Gallery FC
-Camcorder, after hitting Record button FC
-Camera worked and took a seemingly decent pic, I just couldn't review it
without a working gallery
-No mobile Data (refused to connect)
-Won't dial out
-"Messages" wouldn't open
-Not sure if I even have any type of connection I have a "x" over my signal bars
-No keyboard to enable in the "Languages and keyboard" settings
-GPS turned on but "Maps" isn't in the app list to see if it were accurate
-So w/o data i couldn't tell if the weather worked, but I looked at the weather demo
and besides the sizing issue you mentioned, they looked fine
-Paired and connected to my Bluetooth head set, also found my Macbook when scanning
-Rotates perfectly when phone turns as do the lights
I love the customizable Rosie and the landscape view, I can already tell this will be a favorite for me.
This ROM looks so nice...But I notice that Data network wouldn't connect n it needed a little more resizing to the lockscreen n a couple widgets...would love to keep it on but i need the data

MIUI 4.0.3
Howdy,
I have found my self with a little time on my hands, I needed a little project and hear it is.
This has been ported to the HTC Vision by me and lenny_kano, It is pretty much functional bar a few bugs. Most of these bugs are from MIUI as MIUI v4 is not yet stable or feature complete.
This ROM comes with no guaranteed support, I'm hoping that abundance of free time I have at the moment will be short lived. However now I have started I would like to continue. So you never know

Changelog - 2.1.27_Alpha2
Sim Toolkit added
Overscroll and Fancy IME animation options added (in “Control”)
Developer Options added (in “Control”)
Dialer and Market lag fixed somewhat.
Fixed Themes
Market cache always bind mounted to data so that any app can be downloaded without free space issues.
Wi-Fi sleep policies fixed (array was the wrong way around)
Removed Bug Report.
Many, many English improvements thanks to Fllash.
Had a go add tidying the build.prop up, but I'm still learning so may be mistakes
Added Wi-Fi calling for T-Mobile US users
-Not 100% working, my tester informed me that you need to reactivate Wi-Fi calling after each call
Added Virtuous OC deamon and optimizations.
-The Deamon does not seem to activate when the phone boots up, but I did find a work around. using OC/UV Beater2, Set OC settings you wish to use then hit save for that profile. Open OC settings and choose the profile you have just created for "When Boot Completes". Then after every reboot the Daemon will be running and your profile will be active. OC/UV Beater can be downloaded here http://db.tt/N8ckavAh

Hopefully Tethering can be fixed
Thank you
Definitely going to try this out this weekend.
Edit: Any ideas about wifi calling for us T-MobileUS folks? It's a no go for me without it.

One thing that I noticed is that even though the Themes app works, the themes themselves aren't being applied and an failure occurs when trying to change the lockscreen wallpaper.

There was a fix for themes in Proxuser's thread, and but since he has updated the fix has gone. So I assume the bug is fixed in this week's release. I will send him a PM and ask for it and add it toothed first post.
I will update to this week's build tomorrow I'm all androided out for today.

Changelog: V2
Fixed Bugs
Added IcsReloaded (Thanks rob43)
Changelog: V3 Updated to latest CM code
Updated Skia Graphics Engine to latest in AOSP master (not merged into CM yet, but I posted on their gerrit).
Compass arrows in Google Maps should work
Camcorder should work when in SD (480p) mode
Included some Advanced Dialer Settings link
Built with Sun/Oracle Java instead of OpenJDK. Also, set javac to target 1.6 instead of 1.5. One of those two made things fast
fixed multitouch issues.
Included Lock Screen Shortcuts and system volume stuff in gerrit.
Reverted some multitouch stuff (Temple Run might not work, but other multitouch stuff should be better).
Added new feature from gerrit to add screen lock delay after turning off the screen.
Theme manager
Resync with CM9 upstream (new boot animation and some other stuff)
More work on video decoding (but still not 100%)
Plus some other stuff that I can't remember.
What's Currently Broken:
LED flash for stock camera (apparently does work for Angel Camera)
Market download issues: su, and then killall drmserver in the terminal (needs to be done after each reboot if you are still having issues)
Unity3D games like Temple Run have touchscreen input issues (but everything else seems to work with multitouch).

FAQ
FAQ - THE BIG PICTURE
What is ICS?
ICS is Ice Cream Sandwich - Google's latest version of Android.
- Some of the very latest phones on the market already have it installed. e.g HTC One series
- Some slightly older phones will eventually be 'upgraded' to ICS e.g Desire HD, but this may be a number of months away, and promised 'upgrades' have sometimes never been delivered at all.
- If / when it does arrive for Desire HD it may not happen for everybody at the same time, sometimes it's carrier by carrier, and finally 'retail' (non carrier branded) handsets that get the upgrade last!
- If / when it does arrive, it will be overlayed with HTC's Sense (some like it, some don't)
- In the meantime, folks are working on getting ICS on your Desire HD BEFORE it's officially released for the phone, with and without Sense (giving you a choice)
So why don't some features work?
Well, the ICS being used on Desire HD is 'taken' from officially released ICS phones like the HTC One range, or 'leaked' ROMS from similar phones.
However, those phones have slightly different hardware and features than the Desire HD - so they aren't exactly the same. This means that parts of the software have to be 'ported' to work on the Desire HD.
OK, so why is porting so difficult?
The Android O/S is 'open source' meaning that anybody can see the actual source code for themselves, and see how it all works. They can modify it and adapt it to suit their needs (good).
Phone manufacturers USE Android in their phones, but they don't have to make all their own 'extra' software open source too. They like to protect their software by keeping it secret (not so good). There are many reasons why they do this, both good and bad, but it makes porting difficult.
When developers don't have access to the source code for parts of a phone, they have to write their own!... this means they have to have highly detailed knowledge of the phone, its hardware and other software components. Sometimes they can try things by trial and error, sometimes they have knowledge from a similar phone, and sometimes they just don't know.
This is the most common issue for 'ported' ROMS. Things like Power Management, Camera, WiFi, GPS etc are the things that make one manufacturer's phone stand out from another, and therefore end up 'secret'.
This does not mean that they will never work, it only means that they take longer to get working.
Who does the porting?
The actual porting is done by surprisingly few people:
- Some guys who know 'inside secrets'
- Some guys who are just great developers but who don't have the secrets
- Some guys who can develop but need a little guidance
- Some of them are 'great guys' helping the community (and keeping their own skills up to date)
- Some of them have other motives (good and bad)
- Some of them form teams to work on different ports
Why don't all the developers work together?
Developers are people - they have all the same issues as everybody else:
- Some like working alone
- Some feel that other developers standards aren't high enough
- Some are trying to fix a specific problem that THEY want fixed
- Some teams have different goals (one team might be aiming for a port that can work on 5 different phones, whilst another team are focused on a single phone. One team may want a totally 'clean' ROM and another want a ROM with lots of customisation options built in)
- Sometimes, people just don't get along with each other
I thought the ROM makers did all this work?
You'd be wrong.
The ROM developers use the ported code to make their ROMs. Sometimes they can choose different components from the various development teams to build a ROM.
Imagine a motor car:
1) The 'developers' make the engine, wheels, steering, chassis etc
2) The ROM Makers build their car choosing the components they need for their ROM
3) The 'Modders' add custom paint colours, fancy headlights, custom interior etc
The 'developers' are not smarter than the ROM makers, and the ROM makers are not smarter than the modders. They just have different roles (and some people do all three roles!)
reserved for the hell of it
1st!

Giving this a shot, let you know how it works out tomorrow afternoon
Looks great! Booted perfectly. Only issue I came upon so far is no Google apps or Google account sync in settings. Great work so far guys!
BTW I used Alpha 2
Keep in mind:
CM9 is the more stable of the two ROMs as it is purpose built for the Rugby. My AOKP ROM is a little buggy and is a modified W ROM.

OK everything is working great afer a full day of use. Awesome! Only issues I have had:
-Facebook contacts won't sync
-I use Smart Keyboard Pro for my keyboard and the gestures are not being recognized (swipe up to change keyboard layout, down to close, etc)
-Occasionally upon waking I am unable to swipe between home screens. After swiping repeatedly and opening and closing the app drawers and notification bar the srceen frees up. (I am using ADW launcher)
Besides the Facebook contact thing, the other issues seem to be ralated to the touch screen. It works fine, but it does feel slightly less responsive than stock.
Love having ICS on this phone! Great work and look forward future developments
Solid error report ESPFreak , thanks. I don't believe it's a touchscreen problem however, at least at a kernel level. Gestures work on my ported ROM and I'm currently using Kemo's kernel. (it's actually how I launch the dialer). That's not saying that there's not a bug higher up in the system however.

Can you install a CPU meter like OS Monitor and set it up to run in your status bar / notification drawer and see if you are getting CPU spikes when the touchscreen goes somewhat unresponsive? Motorhead and I have noticed some CPU spikes popping up after the screen is off for a period of time.
I have also noticed a few when my exchange / imap clients kick off sync's in the background causing the touchscreen to get a little flaky.

It could be an interplay on the kernel side. There was a lot of grief with the touchscreen and LCD drivers in the ICS kernel. I'm hesitant to rule it out just yet. Lets see what the CPU meter shows.
Its good nuff for daily use for me, no complaints here
Few qwirks but expected

Installed OS monitor. I'll report back after some use. I found this thread about the facebook sync issue. Apparently it's common with cm9. I flashed one file and it did activate the sync option within the app but didn't actually do anything with the contacts. Maybe because it's a different build? Not sure but here's the link.

What quirks are you running into? If you get a list of the odd behavior we can take a look and see about smoothing things over.

This looks like something very very specific that I am not inclined to include in the vanilla CM9 builds. Motorhead think you might be able to work some magic in the AOKP stuff once it is further along?

Information
These are the monthly releases of CM with some modifications and touch ups that will be listed below, They are meant for users who want a stable ROM without the need to flash nightly releases and risking a Nandroid, anyone who has enjoyed the stability of my Google Edition ROM should give this a go
all builds have their core features tested (Camera, bluetooth, bluetooth audio, tethering, USB audio, Data, Voice calls etc), I also adb debug each release and look for any redflags, I then set up the phone and daily drive it with a few of my testers and once I deem the release stable it will be posted here.
Note: The CM camera works but it's not the best, SnapCam HDR (Paid app) from the market is much more stable and has a ton more features (these developers only focus on the 4.4 open source camera and making it better), I highly suggest doing what I do and removing the stock Camera and Gallery and using this awesome app which also includes a gallery with more features, myself and ktoonsez swear by it. The stock files are found in system/app.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Features
-CM Stable branch based
-Updated and debloated gapps
- No rom branding - I don't flash my name around in the settings menu anywhere, keeping it stock AOSP.
-Stock CM kernel
-Nova launcher
-Improved CM Auto brightness values (Stock is way to Dim)
-Android L boot animation
-adb shell fixes
-Ext SD permissions added in platform
-Zip aligned
-No extra bloat
-Settings menu revamped and more organized
-Teleservice event notification options removed as they are not working
-Tested by an established developer and solid testers before release goes live to the public
-Enjoy!!

06/01/2014
I was VERY happy with how 5/31/2014 ran on my phone but noticed a few commits merged last night that were authored by bossman Cyanogen himself, so here is your changelog. I feel like the foundations of this ROM are set now which I knew would take a few builds
so if all goes well with this, I will start bi-weekly releases because I'm extremely sick of full wiping/testing/compiling, I just wanna use my phone as a phone!!
stagefright: yield callbackDispatcher to writer only for video
libstagefright: Fix to handle EAGAIN error on first read to source
audio: mute duration at the beginning of recording
Bluetooth: Fix for device gets stuck in pairing
Bluetooth: turn on lcd during Connection
camera: Disable extra HDR frame on QCOM_HARDWARE - HDR fix for third party apps
appops: Fix WIFI_SCAN AppOp permission index
nxp: Include support declaration for Mifare tags
Everything but the app ops commit was merged into the stable branch of CM 11, these were necessary changed to warrant an update
Enjoy!

idmap: reduce CREATING STRING CACHE verbosity
Merged latest cLock widget
Added Stock MMS back in the build as it's theme friendly
Made number picker dialog in MMS and Contacts a neutral gray so no theme will make the txt invisible
Option to show missed notification count in Interface>Statusbar now works for Email/Gmail
Included Apollo in the build to play nice with lockscreen targets, feel free to remove yourself
Removed open music app on headset connect, does not work on most music apps including poweramp

Fix circle battery opaqueness for the low battery color
Reduce memory leaks by removing all views.
CMAccount: fix setup wizard crash
Themes: Add read/write permissions - 2 commits
Fix broken tags
Remove Status bar notification count checkbox preference <--- main reason for this update, I don't like broken toggles in my settings menus, no idea why CM just leaves them in there, it's rather annoying when there is ZERO java controlling them

Hi Danvdh, this rom is amazing! Seriously, I like your galaxy experience too but I'm a bit torn at the moment as to where to go. I like what I see here, so me thinks il give this a try for a little while. Awesome rom man!
Ps I'm still experiencing issues with my wife phone, maybe you or another follower of yours may have some wisdom to share.

Anything special about the GApps you uploaded ? I've gotten in the habit of using Banks minimal set of GApps with CM11 on my tablet just to minimize Google's increasing bloat.

Flashed this on my I337M. No issue so far.
Can I safely switch to ART ?
Love the rom. looks like great and it's really smooth but for some reason I don't have any in-call audio. I hear the ringtone but can't hear people speaking and they can't hear me. It was working with my previous rom. Does that rom need a specific Baseband?
Thanks for your great work

kk no more guys, my testers and me are tired, Everything in the damn settings menu works now so we will see how CM looks in a fortnight or so
Sounds good, work around for titanium is to set menu long press to menu and then hold menu down. Thanks for the updates

My Pandora is usable again!
Thank you so much for putting this build together. I was using your 4.3 Google Edition since 4.4.2 seems to not work well with Pandora. It kept stuttering during playback via wifi, LTE and I even tried different basebands.
I was completely happy with the second release of this ROM, but I've updated anyways. So far everything works perfectly. Awesome ROM as always. :highfive:
-AT&T S4 on T-Mobile's LTE network.
-I337UCUFNC1 Baseband
Edit: I have noticed that if you have the phone plugged into a charger and try to reboot, it gets stuck at the Samsung Logo. Only remedy to remove charger and hold power to turn it off then on or pull the battery. This is a clean install and its done the same with the version before this one.
Just had a FC when trying to set Lock Screen Wallpaper, it get "Unfortunately, com.android.wallpaper cropper has stopped". I can't figure out what I did wrong. Did clean install just as stated in OP. Any ideas?

Wallpaper works for me. Maybe clear caches/data reboot.
Great Rom no issues so far at all.
CM usually took good day to really settle in for me.
Dial Pad sticks
I may try and do another install in case it was bad for any reason, but...
I noticed when I was entering numbers on the dial pad when on a call or selecting numbered options on a call, the initial number I pressed would "stick" and not release (leaving the tone playing) until I enter another number. I rebooted the phone to see if it was just random, but its consistent. This was a clean install of your current as of this post (3rd release).
AT&T S4 properly unlocked and AWS'd on T-Mobile LTE
