Since I am rooted, with a great custom ROM, it does not come with the stock Epic 4G Touch LWP. I like the one that shows the night sky with meteor shooting across, and waves crashing on shore, forgot the name of that ?
Does anyone have that live wallpaper ? And is there a way to keep it at the nighttime setting all the time, the day setting looks like beef.

My goal with this ROM is to achieve that stock gingerbread look and feel. I'm one of those people that just prefers a fresh stock feel and I'm hoping quite a few of you guys are.
Much love to the guys at Cyanogenmod and everyone that helps them, please donate to them and continue to support all of their hard work.

Wifi needs Fix Permissions & reboot on most devices.

Yes, as of now any gingerbread rom is going to need the newest recovery.
This ROM has the CRT animation, stock launcher as well as all ringtones found on the Nexus S.

Sorry guys, posted an incomplete rom, Default should be the Nexus S live wallpaper.
The ROM posted is incomplete due to lack of stock apps like google's music app & car home.

I didn't change the GAPS, are you still able to go manually change the wallpaper to Nexus S live? I'm still working on getting the microbes wallpaper fixed I have it running but then freezing after a few times locking the screen. Hopefully I'll stumble across whatever it is causing the problems with the wallpapers.

I will for sure look at that and see if I can't port that into this rom here, I myself would also like to have that feature. The change to 14 is already implemented into this ROM

been flashing like hell the past week currently on sicopat and like the responsivness of it,
but hate touchwiz i do like miui but currently has loads of bugs which are doing my nut in,
i like the themes with the typed clock and live wallpapers basically want my phone to look amazing,
hate the mutiple lockscreens too,
anyone point me in the right direction
what is it don't you like about touch wiz?

or flash cm7 and use themechoose.
My buddy must have a defective Nexus. He's using the stock Genie Weather widget and it still shows the sun, even at midnight.
There is no way Google would screw that up ? I thought ICS was revamped from the ground up over Gingerbread ? How could such an basic thing be overlooked ans not corrected before launch ?

Considering the news and weather app wasn't changed at all since it were introduced on the nexus one, it isn't that surprising. I don't get the big with it showing a sun instead of a moon though. Does your friend get confused and think that the sun is actually out, only to be disappointed when he sees the moon?

I like to think that his friend is afraid of the sun and is now stuck in his room unable to tell whether it's safe to go outside.
On topic: I haven't experienced this, it's not something silly like having AM/PM set wrongly is it?
Lol, I'm having a similar issue with the Genie widget also except my Genie widget still says Kim Jong Il has passed away even though that event happened last month.

No. Stock weather widget just works that way. It always showed only sun independently from current hour It is a little silly, but as jamontoast1291 said, it wasn't changed since it's debut in N1

That's insane, how could Google not update the Genie News and Weather widget since the Nexus One ? It is a very popular widget and should have been tweaked in ICS. Plus to still show the sun at midnight, and no moon is sad.

Galaxy from aosp also does not lag.
Solar winds and Luna stream work well.

If you use nova launcher, you will find that most lwp doesnt lag. The stock launcher lags alot using almost every lwp. The org nexus lwp from the nexus one is still my fav. You can download nexus kang lwp from the market and customize it as you like.

Thanks for the list! I too have been looking for LWP's that run smoothly. One question, can you post a screen shot of the "Galaxy" wallpaper? Is this the same Galaxy wallpaper from Gingerbread?
I have a Galaxy Nexus and I don't see any live wallpaper called "Galaxy".
If it is the same one from Gingerbread (and Froyo for that matter), could someone post the updated apk for the Galaxy Nexus. Thanks!

it's actually 'galaxy4', or 'black hole'.
Some great suggestions so far. Pixel Rain and Sparkies don't lag too.
As pointed out by many, there's a definite pattern here - LWP's with static backgrounds (i.e which don't move with the homescreen) don't lag

Agree with the black but most if not all the the LWPs that don't lag are on a static black background. Getting a bit samey, though i'm digging rays of light at the moment
I really wish galaxy pack and galactic core ran smoothly on the GN - those are just made for this 'galaxy' nexus.

I see more than one "black hole" listed in the market. Which one? Also, I use Nexus Wallpaper Revamped, and it works well (though I don't tax it).

It used to work fine before upgrade to ICS (Android 2.3.5).

I am using it on stock ics rom.
This wallpaper is buggy on the HTC jetstream (gravity is messed up; hold the tablet landscape and the droids fly to the right) and on the HTC EVO 4G LTE (When using a custom background with the droids, they go crazy when they go behind the launcher)
I have tried numerous times to contact the Dev, but no response.
I think they have buried this live wallpaper.... shame... it really makes a phone sexy and supports android, IMO.
+1 for dev for awesome live wallpaper
