3. android.process FC for 2 times.
4. Backlight always on (maybe the kernel?)
5. As phiexz said, camera wrong orientation.

i don't know what is the changelog from 7.1.0 RC 3.0. Galaxy Ace thread says that the changelog is under the hood (maybe the performance), not the cosmetics (appearance).

Sure, i upgraded it from Rc 3.0
Upgraded from 7.1.0 RC3.0. Everything seems to work except the camera orientation. I've noticed a faster connection to the GSM and 3G network. In RC 3.0 it ometimes took ages to get a connection.
Is it non wipe like CM7 nightlies...
I dont want to redo everything again just to test...
I dont have problems with the previous version, but it is my second phone, only use SMS, calls, bluetooth, wifi and market...
gps
1. Gps not working, not even shows the icon in notification bar.
2. After a call, the screen remains blank, the proximity sensor have issues.
Back to RC3
fantastic! fast update
i want to try it, but not now
tried to install from rc 2. having troubles: at the boot appears a "android" logo and then nothing else. returning to rc2

i also had this, try re-running the zip in recovery agn, and reboot it a few times. i did this and it was okay.
Thanks for your reports about the bugs.
By the way, just for info.
I, friend of phiexz want to say this. Maybe phiexz will probably take a little longer time to fix the bugs because of his busy in college. He has so many task to do for his college, so he asked our help to find the bugs on 7.2 and post it here. Once he is not busy anymore, he will fix the bugs for us.
So, we have to be patience.
ok, because not many reacted on the update test, i just installed it over the RC3 without wipe or anything.
First look was ok, but no apps that where installed, so i rebooted again, and all is working, what was already on the phone.
Yes, camera has lost its direction and barcode scanner too .. but heck we know that ... link2sd still ok, wifi and 3G working, root explorer and google / gmail, Go contact, sounds market still working ... so no complaints yet ... other then the known issues oh wait Angry birds seasons still works !!
small correction, Gmail settings did not remember to synch email, but ticked that option again and its working
Correction (and wierd!) Qr scanner works ok (applied the fix on RC3) so cam scks but barcode scanner works
I cant connect to google account.
Fast discharged baterry, if I use only wifi, and 3G and screen light on 25%, 1% baterry per minute, its very bad. If screen is off, and locked, everything with baterry its okay (baterry is after callibration).
I not prefer ADW launcher, because it is slow, i Installed GO Launcher, and it is very faster than ADW on this ROM.
I've not found other bugs.

Thanks for the update.. Tell him to take his time.. Remember, the only rule on cyanogenmod, you don't ask for ETA.. ..
Camera and WiFi-mac fixed by me.
I'll upload new package soon.
Now it's fully functionally - only proximity sensor doesn't works.

2.2.2 Release Notes
Yet another update for the rom. Quite a few changes this time.
As usual, this can be flashed cleanly over 2.2.1.
-- solarnz.
2.2.1 Release Notes
You are able to flash 2.2.1 over 2.2.0 as it is mainly just bug fixes.
-- solarnz.
2.2.0 Release Notes
Boy has it been a busy last 2 weeks.
I have built a build system where we now do the majority of our coding in java. Yep java, not smali.
We now have quick controls, in the status bar settings menu.
This rom is mainly just a feature release. Unfortuantly if you had any issues regarding gmail in hammerhead, you will likely get the same issues in this release.
This rom is also still based of 3.2. Yeah I know I said I would be doing 3.2.2, but things change.
-- solarnz.

Version 1.0 - 3g fix
Fixed permissions in /system/bin. This was causing issues with 3g connections.
Replaced framework-res.apk with a less modified version. There is no SIP calling and sms now, but the activation screens work now.
Tips
Automatically installing applications when you flash the rom:
In the zip file, under the directory "data" there is a directory called "tiamat_first_boot_install". You can place all of your apk files that you want installed when you first boot in there. This is useful for applications such as Thumb Keyboard and Titanium Backup
Moray 2.2 Modpacks
All of these mod packs can be flashed over the top of an existing Moray installation unless advised otherwise.
Mod pack 3 : Disable OTA notification ONLY FOR 2.2.0 & 2.2.1

Mod pack 2 : Stock User Agent String. ONLY FOR 2.2.1

First impression : love the water boot animation. Still loading the boot animation.
EDIT : Done booting and saw new signal and battery icon. Nice. Only, when word '3G' nicely placed beside the signal. Only word 'H' overlapping with the arrow signal.

May I know what you mean by 'SD card permissions are fixed'? Do you mean SD card is internal or the microSD card? Because I cannot delete any files inside microSD card except after changing the right using MicroSD Mounter.
Works fine so far.
When opening Music and switching to Genre or Interprets the Music App FC's.
It will do that until Force Stop and Clear Data from within the settings.

Frequently Asked Questions
My calendar sync isn't working!
I'll fix this in Essentials Add-on RC2
Can I mount the phone as mass storage via USB?
The default configuration is to transfer files via MTP from within android. The below command can be used to change into USB Mass Storage mode (starting from BUILD6). USB Mass Storage mode is always used in recovery.
Code:
setprop persist.sys.usb.config mass_storage,adb
Please reboot after executing the command.
I can't adb into the phone!
The build currently uses Galaxy Nexus driver due to the MTP support. Please download the driver here: http://www.multiupload.com/BUCFT8M42N. In mass storage mode (or recovery), the Nexus S driver should be used.
Can I flash other modems?
You may flash modem packages designed for CM7.
Does 3G work? Do I need to install a script for it?
3G works out of the box without the need for any script hack. If it doesn't connect, please check if you have the correct APN.
How do I take a screenshot?
The screenshot taking function is built into ICS. Hold volume down + power.
Can I use CM7 kernels?
No, the kernel has modifications to make graphics, camera, data counter and data limit work.
Can I disable LED Notification?
Yes. Untick Settings -> Display -> Pulse notification light.
Maps keeps asking me to sign in even though I'm signed in!
Ignore the sign in dialog and pull down the notification menu. Answer the request for permission. Do this a few times and Maps will work.
How do I enter Galaxy S Settings (Device Settings)?
Type "am start com.cyanogenmod.AriesParts/.AriesParts" from adb. Or starting from BUILD 7, it is available as an icon in your launcher.
How do I enter service mode?
Type "*#*#197328640#*#*" into the dialer.
Is there a Captivate/Vibrant version?
A captivate build from the same source (but with captivate config) is available here. We currently lack a developer/maintainer for Vibrant.
Does this work for I9000B?
No, the I9000B requires a different kernel configuration. A build for I9000B may be added later in the process.
What's working? Why is there only a list of issues?
Everything else not listed are supposed to be working (aside from the usual CM7 bugs). If they're not listed, please post so that they can be added to the list of issues. A list of issues is far more useful from a development standpoint.
Why am I getting notified that my data partition is getting full when I have 1+ GB free?
Your /datadata partition, a smaller partition, is getting full.

To All,
Please keep in mind that this is a very early Test release of ICS and still in Alpha phase.
ICS S.U.R.F.A.C.E. is completely dependent on the releases made by Teamhacksung
It will be basically a stripped down version of Teamhacksung but with all the fixes, patches, mods, hints and tips,... found in Pawitp's thread already integrated. The Essentials pack will be basically the latest Gapps with some stuff removed, some apps added, fixes, optimied & zipaligned,...
ICS S.U.R.F.A.C.E. is just for testing purposes only and to play around with
It's a work in progress and together we can make this ready for everyday use, for YOU and everybody else
Perhaps this could take the load of postings on Pawitp's thread

What about vodoo control? Is fully working also for color tuning?
I'll try it. thanks.
Super, Thanks for all your efforts. Flashing it as we speak.

Missing a taskmanager also, as TB tends to act awkward on the ICS builds.

Any major probs anyone? Is it ready for everyday use, good signal and battery life...?
I'm still happy with darky's 10.2, but feels a bit oldschool...

Ok, i get it!
hey sam, thanks for your build!
somehow i have problems with downloading from mediafire (interrupted 5th time atm) ;/
could you upload it to some other hosting, please?
maybe its temporary, but i'm sure as hell problem isn't on my side (other things are downloading properly).
Cheers!
edit: 6th and counting -.-
8th... wtf
Thanks Teamhacksung and Sam! I need my phone in working conditions for the next few days but hopefully I'll flash it soon!
How do you guys like the ram management of ICS? Have you tried playing heavy games on it yet like shadowgun, sleepy jack, modern combat 3?

Voodoo Control is working perfectly fine, except for the color tuning.
I'm sure Pawip or another brave kernel developer will release something soon

It could well be that the integrated APN list is not readed correctly in ICS. I will investigate this.
Please be aware that the task manager is completely renewed in ICS.
Just long-press the home button and swype the apps you want to remove
TB is working fine for me but I'm sure updates to that app for ICS will follow soon also

Flash ahead, you'll be amazed... The rom runs exceptionally well for an alpha build and I've yet to run into a FC myself.

If you flash this ROM your phone will be working alright JJustin Perhaps better stick to S.U.R.F.A.C.E. v8.0 (Samsung version) to be in a more stable environment?
I played, Asphalt 6 Adrenaline, Can Knockdown II, Samurai II Vengeance, Dungeon Hunter II, Nova II,... without any errors or lag, just as on Samsung ROM's
Multiupload links added @ 1st post
Just flashed the updated base (RC2) and essentials (still RC1?), and I still can't get my calendar to sync. Same problem as before on RC1. I did a factory reset and wiped cache/dalvik cache after I flashed base+essentials.
Is it working for anyone else? Also, just a minor thing, in 'about phone' it still says Surface RC1.
edit: I also cannot get my APN to work.. I filled in all the fields, although I don't understand why this would be necessary. I don't really know what to fill in the 'server' field, right now I have http://live.vodafone.com but I'm not sure if that's correct, because it's always been empty.

nice sam! thanks!
Sam, should I use a teamhacksung's ICS build 10 as base to flash your ICS? Or maybe I cam flash straight from cm7, like teamhacksung's release?

I think you should be fine if you do a factory reset/wipe (dalvik) cache and then flash ICS Surface. You can just follow the instructions from the first page..

After over 3 months of work, 2 hard-bricks (and a few soft-bricks) and a lot of coffee, it's time to release the first alpha version of CM9 for the Samsung Galaxy W (GT-I8150). This is very much still work in progress, but it should be decent enough now that it's usable, if you don't heavily rely on the not working stuff.
For general discussions, bug reports and FAQ, go here.

Before you install CM9: Preparation (First three are optional. If you want to start fresh, these can be skipped)
Install AppBak from Market, run it and save a list of all your apps.
Install SMS Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your SMS history.
Install Call Logs Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your call log history.
Boot into CWM5 recovery. Make a full backup. You will need this backup later if you decide to go back to your previous ROM and data.
WARNING: Many apps will Force Close crash if you restore data from a previous ROM.
Install
Use CWM5 or CWM6.
Warning: Only use this recovery to flash CM9. Otherwise, you risk bricking your phone!
Wipe data and cache.
Flash update*.zip.
Flash gapps*.zip. You must flash gapps after every upgrade to CM9 since /system is formatted, wiping your previous add-ons.
Reboot phone.
After you setup your Google account, reinstall the three apps from Market in order to restore most of your apps, call log and SMS history.
Warning: Do not restore backup data of system apps!
If you restore a bad backup with cached settings in telephony.db in data/data/com.*.*.telephony it can break MMS.
It seems that restoring backups can also break Calendar sync.
Upgrades
Upgrades from previous versions of CM9 are the same process as install, except you do not need to wipe anything. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to even wipe cache and dalvik-cache when upgrading between CM9 versions. You only need to wipe if you are doing a major upgrade, switching to a different ROM entirely, or attempting to fix bugs caused by bad backups or corrupt app data.
NB: Going from a ROM using 2.6 kernel to a 3.0 kernel, a full wipe is recommended though.

known issues
fm radio
there's no fm radio support in cm9, period! It's not possible to add this when there's no support for it! So stop asking for it!
camera
camera will never work as good as in stock rom, period! We are using ugly hal wrapper hack to get it to work at all! This is only guaranteed to work partially ok with included camera app. And still not everything will work at all with it, like certain effects or video calls. All other 3rd party camera apps may or may not work. Don't cry if they don't. If you absolutely need a 100% working camera, use stock rom!
By "no USB tethering" you mean that CM9 is a no turning back step unless we already have a different ROM on SD card to go back to since no transfer via USB will be possible until it's fixed? Or is it related only to use the phone as a modem?

Be aware I've noticed a potential serious bug. What happens is that apps might start crashing, and when installing an app the phone will bootloop. This might take a while to occur, and seems to be caused by the mmc cards not coming back alive after suspend. I'm currently trying to trace what patch is to blame, unless my device has developed a hardware error. So if anyone else experience the same, please report back.

& a million thanks to you acro68!! Thank you for spending so much time in developing CM9 for us...cant tell how much i appreciate it!
Only bug that I see (apart from camera) is the network settings. I see no service when I do have a service. Still performs as cm9 and ICS.

Hmmm...this last update to CWM MUST be used for CM9 only?
So if I decided not to use CM9 for now I'll be able to flash the backup I made prior to CM9 install and to install another ROM after the restore I'll have to ODIN-flash the previous CWM (prior to 04/01)?

Noticed that too. I'll look into it. If you set the same image again from Wallpapers app, it looks correct.

Turn off mobile data, and it should work. It just doesn't work when mobile data is on. Known issue.

It just means you shouldn't use another recovery program than CWM to flash CM9 with. Not really an issue I think. You can still use this one as before to restore old rom backups.
Hell yeah, this baby is smooth, fast and has Brazilian Portuguese in it (not fully translated yet it seems, but mostly)!
Thanks Arco! The only missing feature that is closer to make any difference to me is the camera, but really, I've wiped my phone quite a few times lately testing ROMs so I haven't used it.

Found a bug with the native browser. Tried visiting several websites, it shows the progress bar loading but shows nothing but a white screen.
When I click the tabs icon to the right of the address bar the thumbnail shows normally, but when selected to full view, white screen again.
Not a connection problem because gmail, Play store and Dolphin browser work just fine via wifi.
Good job Arco Finally good to see an official release
Wow... very hot in here... can't wait to get my SGW from SSC .

Try a reboot and see if it's better. I've had that happen to me as well. It only happened after the 4.0.4 update for me though, so might be a regression in the browser rendering code.

Camera (no photosphere - blame google)
GPS
NFC
Bluetooth
BT and Wireless tethering
Not Working
USB tethering (?)
Installation instructions
BACKUP YOUR DATA (using CWM)
Verify that your backup is complete - a backup of your sdcard may also be a good idea (see below)
Verify that you are running hboot 1.26 or newer (hboot 1.39 is recommended)
Download the ZIP and the boot.img (see Downloads)
Copy the .zip to your sdcard and reboot into fastboot
fastboot flash boot boot.img, then boot into recovery
WIPE your phone (this is not optional)
Install the .zip and reboot
Upgrading
You can always upgrade to a newer version without wiping any data, formatting system or wiping the cache.
But keep in mind that you must always flash boot.img + re-flash gapps after upgrading
Changelog
RC20 (20130825)
Fixed the two Android 'master key' bugs
Kernel patch for CVE-2013-2094
RC19 (20130317)
Merged CMs audio volume patch (http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/33778/)

Software fix for pabx's broken headphone jack detecion: Added an option to forcefully route mediaplayer-output to the headphone jack. (Settings -> Audio)
RC17 (20130301)
Use latest WIFI Firmware (improves reception)
RC16 (20130216)
Added ro.adb.secure=1 to build.props. The phone will now only accept ADB connections from authenticated hosts. Note that you must upgrade your local ADB installation to the version included in the 4.2.2 SDK. Connecting with an pre-4.2.2 adb will not work
Fixed quicksettings: longpress = toggle, press = settings
Internal: Use CMs nicer audio-recording patch
RC15 (20130213) Android 4.2.2
Upgraded to Android 4.2.2_r1
Silenced vibrate kernel driver + removed unneeded pm_qos request
RC14 (20130208) Kernel 3.1.10
First release with Linux 3.1.10. Note that you MUST upgrade your hboot to 1.3x (1.2 versions may work - any feedback is appreciated, but any version < 1.2 will NOT work - your phone will freeze during deepsleep!)
Mounting USB-OTG devices on 4.2 is somewhat tricky as filesystems are not shared with 'parent' processes - using some userspace app like 'Nexus Photo Importer' is recommended
Switched to ondemand govenor as the old 'interactive' is broken in HTCs Linux 3.1.10 source drop (doesn't make a big difference)
RC13 (20130202)
Merged missing cam pull request
Option to change the max frequency in settings (Developer Options -> CPU Frequency)

Stubborn BT devices should now be able to pair
RC8 (20121225)
Fixed WIFI Tethering
Changed halo background
RC7 (20121220) Doomsday edition
Bluetooth Tethering support (still a little bit flaky, try to re-enable bluetooth + tethering if the connection drops)
Changed quicksettings behaviour: Short press = toggle / Long press = open settings
Reboot + Screenshot options in Power-Off menu (thanks to lownoise2)
RC6 (20121219)
Support for Bluetooth file transfer and HID (Again: thanks to rogro82)
AUDIO AND INTERNET SHARING VIA BLUETOOTH ARE CURRENTLY NOT WORKING
RC5 (20121215)
Audio recording fixed (Send your thanks to rogro82)
Developer-Options enabled by default in Settings

FAQ
I can not upgrade my hboot to 1.3x, help!
You can still run RC13:
This was the last release using Linux 2.6 and will therefore work on older hboot versions. RC13 is stable enough for everyday-use.
What kernel should i use?
Use the stock kernel from boot.img - there is nothing wrong with it. Using a different boot.img or/and kernel will just break stuff.
Even more links!

For people wondering:
Although its an AOSP build it does have multi-user support which originally is only available on tablets in AOSP ( users can be added in settings )
Will try it as soon as links posted, thanks for your work! Can't wait for some of the important things like camera to work.
Will have to give this one a shot. Looks very interesting, even though there's some major flaws. Official CM10 has never been stable on the HOX, so looking for alternatives. AOSP might be the solution, in the long run (not currently in that state ).
Good luck with the upcoming work, attempts, hacks, tweaks etc.!
EDIT:
1. You can add NFC to the list of working things. Just tested it with a tag.
2. The performance of the ROM seems very snappy and nice. Just because of it I had to take a few benchmark tests, and yeah, the ROM performs! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Api2mSgk7cfUdENKWWVqNnUyS013dnJpMGxNQXZxeEE (oops, wasn't made public at first)
Generally about Android 4.2 and its new quick settings (QS):
I wonder why Google doesn't allow us to reorder the grid (by long pressing on the items, much like on their launcher; folders). Would be great if one could add or remove buttons too. Personally I'd like to add GPS + NFC and remove 'Airplane mode'. When tapping on the items their respective activities is started. Convenient sometimes, but it makes QS pretty much useless... On/Off toggling would've been the preferred way I think. Much like how the Airplane mode button works... it doesn't even ask the user if the device should be put in airplane mode (which I think is pretty vital).

5 Star'd
Keep up the good work Gentleman
Definitely wanna try, but will probably wait until it's a little more stable.
Needed to rename rc0.boot_img to rc0boot.img (really any .img name would work) but otherwise booting fine straight over the top of latest CM10 nightlies. I'm no dev, but love being on the bleeding edge

Great job. Thank you guys.

Yes this is hboot related ( i will notify pabx to put this in the first post )
To everyone:
Please feel free to post bug reports ( if not already mentioned in the first post by pabx ) and in case of a crash a logcat would be great
This is really exciting, thanks guys.

Where do we find the Email app, for non-Gmail mail? I do see the Exchange apk, but no Email apk. Should we use the one from 4.1, or does 4.2 have a new mail client app? Thanks for the awesome work too by the way; so far this is actually impressively stable for a preview (known issues aside, and more testing to be done)!
Compiled the new Email app from source... I guess you can just push it to /system/app.
I have not been able to test it yet though, so i cant say if its 100% working

First off, thanks for the rom - always great to try the newest version of android!
I found a bug with google now, it doesn't show me any cards relating to my location, it says that I need to turn on googles location services but they're already on.

This is a known issue (see first post -> location services) and is already fixed in the git version.
We will probably release a new build that includes the fix today or tomorrow.
I have the feeling that the dpi is slightly off. On the lockscreen for example the widget area is bigger than the screen and The numberpad to enter the pin is cramped together. (I have no better way to explain it. Sorry)
Awesome guys keep on going will flash this one as soon as camera is fully functional as I really need it for work !!:good::good::good::good:

IMPORTANT!! Please take 2 minutes to read this
• After completing installation of ROM at the end of the aroma installer, the script will ask if you want to reboot. Once you click finish it might cause an error. Don’t worry about this as the ROM has installed successfully.
• On my class 10 card, the ROM take around 5mins to boot. So if you are on slower card or nand, first boot and setting up will be painfully long. Please have patience.
• After signing in google and completing setup wizard, you might get blank screen. Wait for 10 sec and hit the hardware home button on your device. The launcher will show. If you get an “not responding” for setup wizard please click “Wait” . Do not click OK.
• Developer option is not enabled by default. Please go to Settings>About Phone and tap on Build number 10 time. Dev options will be enable. Now go to Developers option in Settings and enable “Force GPU rendering”
• By default the Governor is On Demand. For better battery life and smoothness choose SmartassV2. Don't change default CPU frequencies. Keep it 245-998Mhz as to avoid bugs caused by changing frequencies. Dont forget to tick/check "set on boot" after changing governor.
• Lock screen clock widget is slightly towards the right. You need to remove the widget and add again to get it in center (Don’t know if it’s a bug or feature but other ROMs have this too)
• On 240 dpi the lock screen widget, the date gets clipped if we enable Nav bar. So stick to default DPI is 200 and you are good to go. (200 is my preference since NexusHD2 ICS coz everthing seems so cramped on 240 and you have to scroll everytime for anything).
• If your are using Dual pane mode or tablet combined nav/status bar stick to 160 dpi or else everthing will got out of place.
IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM AND YOU WANT TO POST IT ON THIS THREAD, PLZ GIVE US AT LEAST THIS MINIMUM DETAILS
1) Tmous1024 or EU448
2) MAGLDR or CLK
3) What recovery? CWM, 4ext etc etc
4) Installation Nand, Data2Ext, NativeSD
5) Using Swap or Odex
6) System partition.
For example you can write " TMOUS,CLK,4ext,Data2ext, No swap, no odex, Sys=340MB. I have a problem *********"
Thank you for you time
Installation instruction
There are many different bootloaders/recoveries/method to install in HD2, but If you still new to HD2 and you are starting from scratch the fastest would be this.
1) Download HD2 toolkit and install HSPL, MAGLDR. Download and instructions here
2) Download 4ext recovery from here and follow this instruction bellow:
Just a brief understanding. During installation of rom has 3 options for setup. 1. NAND(Full, Custom ) 2. DataOnExt 3. NativeSD
In brief
1. NAND. Installing everything(System and data) on phone(Nand). Further you will have option full install or custom install
2. DataOnEXT. Installing all system files on phone(NAND) and Installing all data files on sdcard(EXT4 partition)
3. NativeSD. Installing everything(System and Data) on sdcard (EXT4)
Lets start with DataOnExt
I have attached a file for 4ext recovery from "Native sd" thread which makes partitioning of sdcard with ext4 very simpler.
Installing recovery
1. Download and extract the attached file in folder example lets call this folder "D:\4ext".
2. Boot in MAGLDR (By holding power off key during start)
3. Choose "USB flasher" Connect your Hd2 to computer using usb cable.
4. Run the DAF.exe from the folder that you have downloaded/extracted example "D:\4ext" click next > next> "(it will show error "readfile missing" no problem. just continue)
This will install 4ext recovery and reboot the phone
Partitioning SD card with ext4
5. Boot into 4ext recovery from MAGLDR (by choosing ADrecovery) you will see menu from 4ext which is quite similar to CWM recovery.
6. Go to "advance" > "partition SD card" > "Remove all partition and start from scratch"
Select the size of for 1st partition (Choose greater than 1024MB) (This will be the size of data partition)
Select the size of for 2nd partition (Choose "Skip")
Select the size of for swap partition (If you using Swap choose the size of swap partition or if not "Skip") then it will start formating and ask you what format do you want to format sdext.
Choose for format "EXT4" and Let it complete formating
Installing ROM
7. Now copy my ROM zipfile into the sdcard (You can do this from the recovery itseft by choosing "toggle usb storage" in the main menu and connecting hd2 to pc using a cable. after finish copying the file safely remove device from PC and slect unmount from HD2 )
8. In recovery main menu choose "install from sdcard"
9. Choose "NAND with DataOnEXT" and then choose full Install or custom.choose whatever you wish. continue with setup. ROM will install
10. Reboot and enjoy.
Note 1 Default system partition size selected for DATAonEXT is 390M(Why 390MB? since data is mounted on sdcard, why not use whole Nand as system).
if you want to adjust, change the value in flash.cfg in the 4ext folder before proceeding step 2
Note 2 the above setup is for DATAonEXT. If you decide to install NAND minimum install change to "system ya 370M" in flash.cfg and then continue step 2, 3, 4, 7, 8. (Skip step 5, 6) Step 9 choose NAND and custom
Note 3 . If you decide to install NAND full install change to "system ya 370M" in flash.cfg and then continue step 2, 3, 4, 7, 8. (Skip step 5, 6) Step 9 Choose NAND and full
Note 4 . If you decide to install NativeSD do steps 1 to 8. step 9 choose NativeSD. Install ROM. after installation reboot to MAGLDR.
In the main menu of MAGLDR choose 10.services > 1. bootsettings > 3. AD SD dir > select folder "NativeSD" (browse using Volume keys)
Go back to main menu
choose 10.services > 1. bootsettings > 1. Boot Source > 1. Android from SD
You know I Have Xylon running on my phone on nativeSD..
But mine is mere a port.
Congratulations for your build dude..!!
Feedback coming soon
Really nice to see one more dev.
Thanks button(s) pressed.
It's a shame that I JUST installed Tytung's new JB yesterday, should have waited one more day!

Waiting more comments from you. if its stable enough I'll flash it for daily use test.
And OP how you managed to fix wifi ?
I used NativeSD method (MAGLDR), but it got stuck at HTC logo screen. Waiting for 20 mins but nothing happened. Please help me, what should I do now? Thanks
I'm on clk dataonext, data works fine, wifi can see my box but I have no IP adress only macadress, cannot connect here
Qtadb is not working : exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory 2 2) -
i´m on magldr and native sd,
wifi=ok, data=ok, it´s very very smoothly, download from play store=ok, switched wifi on/off=ok
bluetooth=not tested
thanx very much
gps=ok (tested with gps status)
this is the rom i was waiting for, almost as smooth as GB and everything including WIFI is working. Faster than any 4.1.2 rom on my class 2 sd card. If one has better SD Card he should definitely give it a shot.
Re: [18 March 2013] [ROM] [JB] [WIFI] XYLON-EV V1
Can someone test GPS please?

@macs18max: I don't know what happened with initrd.gz (NativeSD). It can't work with my phone. However, I used your initrd.gz (NAND) + HypoTurtle patch -> works perfectly. Your rom is the first 4.2 rom within working wifi. Thanks for your hard work :good:

Hey... Anyone else have an issue with NativeSD... I think it's my installer and the way I'm zipping it... For me I took one whole day to get the installer working right.... I tried more than 15times and finally got it working... For the same system files, and same procedure, sometimes I had superuser problem, sometimes SytemUI force closes... I'm using gzip in Ubuntu. I also tried 7zip (store mode) in windows but it failed....
Any idea's Zesjters? you r a pro in this...
