ok one question:
why should i flash this? its the same stuff the others have!

What's different from Revolution HD 1.3.1? Even the change log looks eerily similar
Almost like it was copy and pasted!!
EDIT: I didn't mean to bash you It was pure curiosity Anyways, I speak for everyone when I say we all appreciate the effort

I was going to comment that too...
Well this has a different custom kernel, but that's pretty much it.
I have to agree that the changelog and About rom stuff look very much like a copy paste from other roms.

Wow, can't attest if this has kanged items or not, but if I were to flash a rom, this has what I am interested in; franco's kernel, auto brightness patch, flashlight etc... Lets not accuse unless we have proof (innocent till proven guilty)

this rom has the best battery life at my opinion.the changelog in most cases is similar because there are not yet many mods or something very different to add.this rom in my opinion is the fastest,and it is clean but it isnt so much close to stock as the others(ui patch,franco kernel which supports overclock etc)try it and if you like it press the thanks button.if you dont like something post here the problem

Using statements "the best" and "the fastest" is very subjective, especially when you speak about battery life or system performance. But it's your thread and you have a right to write whatever you want Anyway, welcome to GN development
Also I just want to point some changes in your ROM that are very specific to my ROM:
init.post_boot.sh inside system/etc:
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
#========================================================
# init.post_boot.sh script created for Android Revolution HD
# by mike1986
# Do not try to remove this file from the system!
#========================================================
init.d scripts inside system/etc/init.d
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
# ========================================
# init.d script for Android Revolution HD
# made by seo
# quick and dirty way to calibrate battery
# after fresh ROM install
# ========================================
build.prop
Code:
# Additional build.prop tweaks for Android Revolution HD
sysctl.conf
Code:
# sysctl.conf file
# created for Android Revolution
# by mike1986
So what have you done? You downloaded my ROM, changed build.prop ro.build.display.id, added pauls mod and franco's kernel and released it as yours. So now I have no doubts it's the fastest ROM with the best battery life, because it's Android Revolution HD Now all you need to do is to change "by mike1986" in every place I mentioned and replace it with "by pan24". Then Alpha ROM v2.0 will be ready to release!

Well, since this is an Android Revolution ROM anyway, might as well continue hijacking this thread
Mike - which kernel do you think provides the best battery life for your outstanding, often imitated ROM....stock, modaco, or franco?
Thanks....love your ROM!!! (Android Revolution)

To be honest, performance, stability and battery life won't be very different from any of the other MIUI roms. The main 'advantage' I would say this ROM has over the others is that it doesn't include a whole lot of 'bloat' per se.

well. my experience with this rom:
quadrant :
1 - 1636
2 - 1884
3 - 2004
4 - 2029
5 - 2078
6 - I stop here
Seems stable at this moment, but I have it installed for a short time.
at this moment I can not tell about the battery, for the same reason.
I noticed now that there was an update. "the file is smaller"... I will reinstall.
Hi there,
my only issue is really the camera, i really like sammy camera, the quality, very sharp and wonderful colors.
can someone just make a comparison in % on how much does the MIUI camera looks like sammy one? (exemple 60% or 70% or..)
and any other options for the cam?
thanks?

Q&ASo what is INDIAN MADNESS
Its a script that i put together that tells the CPU governor how to behave.
Is this based off of Virtuous OC?
No, the reason Virtuous OC is in there is because its like an app to let me OC. It basically SetCPU in a more advanced form.
When I download the Aosp or Aokp version, why doesn't it flash?
Because busybox is located in a different place in your rom. This is why i go tell you to flash the sense version. There is actually no difference between versions, just that it checks for busybox in different locations.
I noticed a lot of Virtuous stuff in the zip. How much do you actually own
You see a lot of virtuous stuff because thats what i figured would be needed to make the daemon work. Anything that doesn't have the name virtuous on it, i own. The only exceptions are the OC setting, which i also own.
Will this prevent AIDS or Death
Sure?
Will it help me get laid?Yes.
Mine again!
My only reserve
this is a BETA guys...

Um wtf mate, lol
This MOD will not get install on One V as the updater-script needs a different mount/unmount script.
And also this MOD will work only on ROM with init.d support and there is none at the moment on One V Dev. thread.
Ok, thank you very much, can you help me with the updatir script stuff

Flashed on my One V, will check whether it really runs as there is no init.d support for the stock ROM.

Most of it for the moment yes. I write that it's my first ROM and i'm still learning the basics of android. After a while i will be changing and fixing more from the sources.
It's always good to have new developers working on new ROMs and sharing their work with the community. Thank you for sharing.
Your ROM is still very poor compared with other ones but I will certainly follow this thread to see the evolutions you'll bring to it.
Small advice: Keep it simple and functional. Stay on the SGS3 style and get reed of that ugly purple! :silly:

Your opinion... But about this Rom: It seems to be a clean build of cm10, as all of the features listed in the OP are standart android features (full USB speed? Is it slower on other Rom's?). Beside of that, I am no fan of those "great" build.prop tweaks.. Some are okay, but most of them just cause instabilities or lags... Also the thread design and the Rom itself reminds me strongly of X-Bean

it looks most like my old thread but the only change is that i used INDENT to change a little bit the look. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1700826
Until now i haven't encountered any instabilities or lags... And about the full USB speed i don't really know why i let that there.
The people here is not being mad at you, they just want to know more details about what you've changed.
Nobody expects a beginner to launch a full-featured ROM just like that, so, as this is your first version, it seems pretty good (except that horrendous status bar!!!!!11111).
Keep it up and learn it deeply. And stick with design standards...

Can we see this as an update to the Black Pearl ROM or is it different? Do you use it with a specific kernel?

It's completely different like Tweak, performance etc.
Do you use it with a specific kernel? I see n3okernel in the screenshots? is it included?
Downloading now , thanks ShyamSasi .
Installed it just now.. If I want to use XM kernel 188v4, should I repack? It runs without repacking, but I mean, do I lose any functionality if i do not repack (battery optimizations and stuff)?

I haven't done any RAMDisk optimization. I'm using Shiz's RAMDisk. So it's recommended to repack. Most the optimization is system level.
