I want to get excited, but with so many rumors and so many photoshopped emails, so many rumored and edited documents, im still taking this with a grain of salt... BUT the launch is definitely almost 100%

I just saw this too, and am extremely excited/hopeful. However, there have been leaked screenshots and things before that haven't panned out. I would hold off on allcaps CONFIRMED until VZW actually announces it.

Could be fake...

It seems bogus, but with all the other information it seems likely to be accurate. I want to KNOW WHEN CAN I ORDER ONLINE

There should be some kind of rule of using the word "confirmed" on the internet. No one seems to know what it really means and fling it around willy nilly.

OP, change the title...
Remember all of the other "confirmed" dates we had? Chill.

Trying to but my tab won't let me...

Blog clickbait.
Easy money, ya know.

I want this to be true as much as the next person but even I could have made both those leaked images in 10 minutes using common "knowledge" (read: other leaks). Hate to be a cynic though, we can only hope.

But absolutely no proof. All just rumors. When Froyo was coming to the Epic even the magazines had dates (which were wrong) listed. Google it. The only thing that comes up is Samsung to release to Europe and then to US carriers, oh and all the rumors here. Hasn't released in Europe yet. If you ever think it has released, just go to Sprint.com and check update firmware for your device. The first day of OTA it appears on the site.
Kenny is correct though. However it doesn't matter what the date is. As far as were concerned its most likely end of this month.

of course, they could just be copying information from the Samsung or Google site right now, which of course lists that there are 2 models.... wouldn't be the first time that a big name electronics store used the wrong description for their system lol. Just something to keep in mind.

Interesting that it says 8.94mm thickness, which is the correct thickness for the HSPA+ model, but according to unconfirmed reports from some Chinese sites the thickness of the LTE model should be 9.34mm. This could mean one of two things: RadioShack actually will have two models of the Galaxy Nexus, and they happen to list the HSPA+ model thickness; or like martonikaj said, just a poor copy-paste job from marketing material.

Apple now trying to get our phone banned from sale along with other S2s.

You're misunderstanding how lawsuits work. This is 100% part of the same lawsuit. They are asking the judge to issue injunctions in her final rulings to ban devices found by the jury to infringe on their (apples) patents... Nor is that law suit at all over. The final hearing is Sept. 20th I believe, and then the inevitable year plus of appeals that will follow it. I pointed you towards that thread as it's unnecessary to start a new thread for every particular filing in the case. If we did so 70% of this board would be about that lawsuit in that matter of a month or two.

[Discussion]Apples New Claims

So, I don't know if anyone has read the new claims that crapple seems to be bringing to court but here is a link to the post.
http://phandroid.com/2012/11/06/app...01/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Although here is some what of a break down of the contents.
It seems as though Apple has gone some crazy insane on crack or something because now they want to add 17 devices because they're all compatible with a stylus in some way. Now how the hell is that possible? None of Apple's products use a stylus, that I'm aware of anyway. At least they don't ship with one. Also, they are going after the GNex now, because hmmmm....It's running Jelly Bean?! That doesn't make any damn sense what so ever. So I though I would just bring this up for some discussion because I don' have the slightest idea how they can do this?
I always read about apple trying find something ***** about android / Samsung software and products. It seems like they just want own the market, but that just it not everyone cares for them. I see how their product is their own. But lot of it seems picky

My mom for some reason got an iPhone 5, I told here it was a piece of worthless crap, and she didn't listen. Needless to say 2 weeks later she is taking it back I convinced her to get a Note 2!
But along the lines of the whole patent thing, they say there going after the GNex because it has Jelly Bean, BUT all other JB devices are fine!? Makes NO damn sense!
Ya I seen apple attack Samsung for a lot of things. Last couple of years, last time I read anything was that apple claim Samsung copy their design.. Silly power hungry company's

I've messed with them before and they are nice products, but you can't even remove apps from the home screens. I was so confused by this. She doesn't need a stock app. How do you get rid of the icon? You don't.

I have a small feeling they are attacking the GNex because it is ALWAYS updated. Google keeps the GNex on top of it. Apple probably views it as a threat because while we are here using the GNex for quite awhile (since we don't get bored with it), Apple has to release an entire new product to keep the users entertained.

Not to be a wet blanket but if you think for one minute the WH gives a tinker's damn about those petitions, you should start by looking at what's already there with 100k+ sigs. Like every state in the union wanting to secede. On top of that, this was bought and paid for in a negotiation between the carriers and what is, in my view, the finest government money can buy. Look at it this way: if you want to get your phone paid for by someone else, be prepared to accept their conditions. Or spend the $ to get an unlocked version. Or ask the carrier to unlock it. Word is they will if you're current. At the end of the day this really only hurts (US based) unlock code vendors and people trying to buy a ATT phone on ebay to use on TMo's 2G (or similar).

I was under the impression that the rules state it only affects phones purchased after the date it goes into effect. So this shouldn't even matter to those who already own an S3.
Don't get me wrong, it's still important for future purchases, for anyone planning to get the S4 and 5 eventually.

To be honest I don't see the big deal. If people did their research they would know this only applies till the phone is paid off at the end of contract and doesn't apply to any lte device due to the agreement with the FCC when the late bands were bought

Thanks. Never even thought about this factor. In theory, the LTE phones should never be carrier locked since the LTE is utilizing the 700Mhz band. This means happy unlocking...whatever method I choose. Wonder if AT&T would cave in eventually on this?
