[Q] Do any of the current roms have USB HOST/USB OTG support ?

Would love to see this added to the G2 I have been trying to find out a way to connect a USB MIMO touchscreen to the G2 in order to make a car dock for it . Here is an example of USB host working on android http://sven.killig.de/android/N1/2.2/usb_host/ would this work for other phones ?

Hi, i'am also interested in this, is it possible to apply the kernel patch to the g2 ?
I've never compiled Android Kernels before, but i will try if someone here tells me it would work

OTG functions

Hi, I have an adapter USB to micro USB to try out the OTG of the Samsung. It recognizes a flash drive just fine, but it doesnt work with a mouse or keyboard. My android version is 4.0.3 and the kernel version is 3.0.5.15 (if it helps) Im also using Genius hardware. Do i have to buy an especific brand? what do I have to do to get it to function well?? And one more thing, can I connect a webcam and make t work? (for final universiti project purposes)

is it possible to use Allsharecast Dongle with CustomRom like Cyanogenmod?

Hi!
I have used the Galaxy Note 8.0 (GT-N5110) for a couple of months. But since the offical Update from Samsung i cant use the external SD-Card as i would. OK, there are soo much CustomRoms out there...
And now?
I have testet the Cyanogenmod, wow 3 times longer Batterypower! I can read/write on SD-Card as i will, OK. But the important feature (i am a teacher) i cant find the allsharecast Dongle in the screenmirroring menu!
OK, another CustomRom CivZ-Flexrom in the description says it would support my Allsharecast Dongle.
And i can see and find the dongle in the menu, but then stops the "allsharecast dongle s/w update" and the connection wasn't established. (i have used triangle Away, the App says: Current Status / Counter: 0 / binary: Official / Device: GT-N5110 / System: official)
Is there somewhere, who can help me?
SD-Card read/write and Allsharecast Dongle use and the great Battery life (e.g. of Cyanogenmod) ?

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Tab Lite 3 7.0 (SM-T110) Usb Keyboard Problem

Dear XDA,
I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab Lite 3 7.0 (SM-T110) and a usb keyboard that has a male micro usb connector. My problem is that I can't get the keyboard to work. I rooted my tablet, tried custom ROMs and Blackhawk custom kernel, tried adding android.hardware.usb.host.xml file to /system/etc/permissions, but I simply won't work.
I also own a Samsung Galaxy S5 and when I connect the keyboard it works flawlessly. So, the problem is definitely with the tablet. I ran USB Host diagnosis and got the following results:
ANDROID API
Claims support: yes
Classes found: yes
Device detected: no
ROOTED API
Claims support: N/A
Device detected: N/A
KERNEL
Claims support: no
Device detected: N/A
VERDICT
OS support: no
3rd party apps: no
At the moment, I have a stock firmware for south east Europe.
So, to sum up, I tried literally everything I could find, so please tell me if there's a way to get my keyboard finally work.

This won't work over USB since there is no USB-OTG functionality on the Tab 3 Series..

Is there any workaround to make it work? Is it possible to make any kernel modifications to enable USB host functionality?

[Not Working] USB-C DAC-AMP dongles with the Chinese variant

Has anyone been able to get them to work with the Chinese variant?
I've turned on USB OTG in the settings, which is apparently required to enable them to work on other Realme devices, but to no avail.
I've also tried three different ones.
I'm running the stock RealUI v2.0 ROM, by the way.
