[Q] Does the EVO HW 003 take the wider or narrow cable flex digitizer screen?

I'd like to know as i have to fix my phone

the only way to find out is to open the phone and look. there is no other way to tell

How can i tell the difference exactly? And i got the phone first half of August in 2010 if that helps in case they started the narrow flex much later.

Like it was stated opening up the phone is the only true method. I believe skinny for Nova and wide for Epson but I don't know if that is 100% correct 100% of the time.

But how will i know if its narrow or wide. I don't have anything as reference

I opened my phone and this is what i got.

Narrow Cable
Wide Cable
The digitizer seems like it only comes in one type, the wide/narrow distinction is for the screen itself I believe.

Found a Aftermarket Landscape Dock(UPDATED WITH PICS)

I just ordered it, Amazon Prime is telling me it will be delivered tomorrow. Looks ok, doesn't look like it uses the pogo pins, ill report back once I get it.

so here are the pics, with the phone in the dock, i cannot use my Incipio Feather case. I can push on the top of the phone which will hit the power button on the right side of the phone. Thats right, thats a GSM Galaxy Nexus in white ! =)

It looks like it'd be easy to just drill a hole and epoxy a 3.5mm audio cable into it.

The earpiece grille, front camera, sensors are too low. And the home button, capacitive buttons are too low.

My best guess would be a HQ border to paste screenshots into to present themes/roms.

@Mister_Mxyzptlk It might be because of the Low-Resolutioned Picture

Or its of the fake SGS III that is being sold online. This was something I saw on the fake...

No. It's not the resolution. The earpiece grille is a little too low; no room for the Sammy logo. And the buttons on bottom are a hair too low.

Otterbox Commuter white Review

I got my otter-box commuter case in white today finally. Its pretty decent, but the only problems I've had with it is that the buttons are really hard to press, and it takes a bit to get it on and off, which is a problem when you want to switch batteries. My wife's been bugging me about picking her up that case in that color but after watching you struggle I'm a little worried about probably having to listen to her complain about it all day long.

Yeah it's difficult to press down the side buttons. I have to use my fingernails instead of the pads of my fingertips

hah yeah i use my fingernails to press down on it too, but it still takes too much effort than it should. The volume rockers have gotten easier to press now. I'm going to keep it on for a couple more days and see if it gets easier.

MicroUsb dust cover which you don't lose

Anybody a hint for some dust covers which fit really good, so that you don't lose it ?

never seen one before. i've only seen headset jack covers so far..

Why don't you flick one of those micro usb covers from old nokia phones? I did that for my S2...it fits like it was made for it.

Thanks for sample . Now i know what to look for :cyclops:

They fit quite snug, and come 3 to a pack.
EDIT: I know it says it's for Galaxy S2 AT&T, but I have an I9100. They work perfectly.
