Verizon galaxy nexus devices are being shipped to retail stores this week
How did you get those photos? And do you have anymore info?
nice! thanks for the pics. Excitement +1
NICE!!!!!!!!!!!
Question: Why is the box just plain white? Is it a demo unit of some sort?
niceeeeeee when can i pre order one?
It looks soo, fat.
how long does it generally take for phones to go on sale after they hit the store? I'd imagine they dont sit there long do they?
Like why hasn't this thread exploded yet?
by the looks of that stainless steel table ... looks more warehousish to me. Not that it's bad or anything i guess. Like the packaging.

i was thinking the same but it was just because of the angle of the picture
Also notice on the screen plastic it points to vzw.com/galaxynexus and not google.com/nexus, like all the other nexus phones.
Very weird.

just a bad picture angle
gimme gimme gimme!
I'm no image expert, but there are a couple of rogue reflections there. Also, there's some weird seams on the screen protector. Might be a photoshop special. I don't see a photo of the back with the verizon logo, please post. Also, seems to be some text on the short side of that box in the first shot. Better picture please? Otherwise the rest could be easily greeked. Or, its a demo unit. Not buying that this is a unit/box intended for retail. Hope i'm wrong.
Per my brother who is a manager at my local corp store, the are expecting them in shipment today!

Check out the new creation. I know a lot of people have storm trooper epics (white+black)
but this is a combination of a black screen, the silver band from a white housing, and a black back. Looks sick!!! (the back piece is the white housing. so if you take the battery door off, its actually white.
sorry for the ****ty pics but check it out! fell in love with phone all over again. lol

I've got a busted E4GT that I'm going to do this to and give to my fiancee.
Looks good, its refreshing to see something different in this section too.
Hey, my E4GT has a couple dings on the body right next to the glass. Judging from the OP's pictures, it looks feasible to replace that part with new? My question, to anyone who may know is: Would it be worth fixing the phone before I sell it? I'm guessing, as it stands now, the phone's in "fair" condition (as Swappa.com would classify) and probably get easy $200. Now if I replaced the body the phone would be worth an EASY $250...Is this a worthwhile thing to do?
Thanks
Well I read a lot of places that it couldn't be done. I have successfully replaced just the glass. I recorded it on my Gopro so everyone can see how its done. If you find it useful hit the thanks Make sure you spread this around so people stop buying 300 dollar full LCD assemblies.

That sounds really good. I don't mind my surround being blue, but I do want the screen/soft keys black. I'd have to find a way to make the home button black too. Perhaps paint a white button black with black lexan body paint and swap at the same time.

Yeah it does. Although I rarely use the camera I would rather it be this way than the other. Opening the other way (like last years version) occludes the view of the camera. If it weren't for the stupid home button it wouldn't make a difference as far as being upside down.

Ah right...so it doesnt fold into a triangle like the smart covers on apple...Thats dissapointing but i guess it wouldnt work as it would be upside down lol. This looks like it will be difficult to get it to stay standing on the sofa or other non-flat surfaces.

I just picked up one of these today. And yes, it does work like the one on the Tab 3. Overall I'd say it's pretty nice. Very compact and seems stable enough on a range of surfaces.
