dont know if wxcolon will chime in again, but you need to go to your google voice account www.google.com/voice and in your setting you need to disable that option about pressing "1" to answer it has to do with screening calls before you want to answer.
It has nothing to do with what rom you are on, it is a google voice thing.
From the googlevoice site:
Call Screening Call screening lets you know who's calling your Google number before you accept the call. It also allows you options on how to handle your calls so that you can choose to accept it, send the caller to voicemail and ListenInTM, or record the call.
There are two ways we screen your callers:
We'll show you their Caller ID on your Caller ID display.
As soon as you pick up your phone, we'll announce your callers to you. We've added this second level of screening ('audio' Caller ID), because Caller ID isn't particularly useful for blocked and unknown names and numbers. Once we announce your caller (for example, 'Call from Jack Johnson'), we give you four ways to handle the call:
Accept it (press 1)
Send it to voicemail (press 2)
ListenInTM on the voicemail (press 2 and stay on the line)
Accept and record the call (press 1 then 4)

Yup. Done it myself. One thing that will prevent that is if you don't use sprint "sign up option" that they have with Google Voice, just sign up the other way with your number. You'll actually get more options that way as well.

Hello everyone every time I receive a phone call I go to answer it... Then my phone will ask me to press 1 to answer and 2 to send to voicemail... Anyone know what I did? It started to do this a couple days ago
you have google voice enable
You enabled call screening in google voice
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA App
To be more clear, yes, its Google voice call screening. Just get on Google voice on your computer, go to settings, phone, and disable call screening

I have callerid disable in my google voice so it won't eat my minutes...
Is there any way or any external app which can display the actual callerid. Something like Tmobile callerid which shows the city, state...
Thanks

What I want is a kind of bubble shows actual caller id on incoming calls..
I think I have seen that somewhere. It was google voice bubble on incoming calls.

search for "adaffix" or "white pages" in the market... should do what you want. (free) & (paid) respectfully.
I use True Caller. Works perfect and is free. but u have to download it from their website.

Can you explain what you mean by this?
How do you disable callerid?
And why do you think that won't eat your minutes?
There us an Option in gv interface which you set what number you want to see on incoming calls.
The actual caller number or your gv number.
I set that to show the gv number.. And that gv number is on my friends and family circle so all calls on that number will be free...
But I loose the actual caller id that way... I want an app which should some how connected with my gv account and on incoming call just display something about the actual caller...

I'm trying to get google voice to screen my calls but I can't seem to find a setting that will change the behavior on how calls are answered. When a calls comes in the lock screen pops and I swype to the right and the call is answered. I'm looking to be able to screen the call while voice mail is activated. I'm pretty sure all the settings are correct on/in google voice. Am I missing the options I need to select on the phone or is this a product of still being in alpha?
Thanks for your response upfront!
Have you tried the settings on pc?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
Exactly. You have to log in on a PC and all the settings are there. You cannot change that from the app.
The settings on the pc are correct. It's the behavior of answering calls on this rom. When a call comes in it wants me to swipe right to answer, up to send text or left to ignore. I want to be able to see the incoming call without answering it and be able to hear Google voice announce the caller and then select the behavior I.e listen while the voice mail is being made.

When you select it to announce calls on your PC then when you slide to answer it will play the announcement and tell you to select 1 to answer.

OK. Seemed like it was just going straight into the call. Thanks so much for the help all!

So after rooting and flashing ICS I installed the gv app and accidentally chose to let it combine my numbers, it whatever the deal is with sprint. Now I can't send texts or make calls from my actual cell number.
How can I fix this? I used the Odin oc format all to update from fc whatever to the latest fe whatever. And the problem persists.

Uninstall voice, reinstall, but don't select that option.

If what kbizzle said doesn't work then you can got to google.com/voice and in the settings there you can disable that, it happened to me once lol

omg... thank you so much. I was pressing "1" to answer calls for almost 3 weeks.. I had disabled/enabled/uninstalled/reinstalled/disabled internet calling/deleted phone and re-installed and all the while on my voice app said that it was not enabled and I thought I just had a kooky phone.
No more pressing 1 for me. awww, freedom.
2 Quick Tips:
1.) The Google Voice homescreen widget has clickable text toggles to switch
between: Do Not Use, Use For All Calls, and Use For International Calls, and Ask
Every Time.
2.) As long as Google Voice call forwarding IS SET to "forward" and "Enable
Google Voice on your Sprint Phone" IS NOT ENABLED, you can save the inbound
GV number as a contact (also select custom ring) so you know when someone is
calling on that line. Additionally, GV can be set to screen incoming calls.
I generally toggle between "Do Not Use" and "Ask Every Time" when I want to dial out using my GV #.
Lol, never forget to go to google.com/voice after installed voice, it will take over your phone, every time I got a phone call it would send me texts and emails and all kinds of crap, receiver a text I'd get a text gv text, email, a letter in the mail, crap, change those settings lol!!!
I want to use my Google voice as my voice mail service. However, whenever I try to change from my carrier to google voice in call setting, it get stuck in reading the setting and does not move forward.
Ya shouldnt have to do that. I just went to the google voice website and activated my phone number. Itll give ya a code to input in the phone dialer and itll set it up automatically.

Yeah, trying to do it on the phone always results in an error. When you do it online as described above it'll work, even though the phone will still report otherwise.
As long as the number is already set up on the gv website, all you have to do its enable forwarding to your gv number with *004*1-XXX-XXX-XXXX# send. That will send all of your missed/busy calls to your gv voicemail instead of at&t's.
