Hey everyone. I've always had an issue with Wifi with my gs3. Every since jumping onto rooted JB from ICS (Was on 4.2.1 now on 4.2.2.) and regardless the rom I use I always have issues with Wifi not connecting to any networks. Sometimes it does, others doesn't. Most times it does but I never get any data, it just sits connected but not recieving info. I've never updated the modem or baseband, is that it?

Could be... what baseband are you running? You can check by going into settings, then "about phone." Here's what mine looks like (I'm on MB1).

No point sitting there, sucking your thumb and telling the world you're a noob. Do some research and upgrade yourself. Google has tons of stuff if you need to search for something.

On another thread, someone posted a screen shot of their phone displaying the network types when doing a Manual Network Search on a ZL

When I do this on mine though, I only get the networks but not the type of network:
Is this something that the C6506 cannot do, is it the firmware I'm using (running the latest .67, but have never seen it in other stock ROMs. CM does not show the type), or is it T-Mobile doing this?
Using C6503, can see the network types just like AndroidBR, but with german networks...

Thank you. Must be a C6506 and maybe even my provider's SIM card. If I run CM, I can see more than one network per provider, but it doesn't show the type of network. On stock ROM, I only see one network per provider.
I see people talking about v10i and v10g, and I am on V10a-EUR-XX. I checked my IMEI for updates on LG's website
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=my IMEI
And it says I am up-to-date. Am I far behind? DOes my model get updates?
Model: LGD855
Suffix: A6MPTN
Latest version: D85510A_00
I am in EUROPE.
I would appreciate it!
Cheers

Isn't this weird? afaik this is the "first" software. Am I correct? I feel kinda left behind hehe
Hope somebody can help me out here. Maybe it helps but I am rooted + deleted some apps with titanium (nothing major, just some bloatware like mcafee etc.)
Cheers
