Thanks for your splendid work.. but please base your ROM on the LA1 update cause it had some lovely things like that new call attending feature straight from ICS and the scroll bar was just great... kind of animated... In your next update please include the note and quickoffice app.. they were helpful apps.. And the fluidity in scrolling up and down has decreased a lil bit in the new update..don't know why.. Another thing I just can't seem to update some app like superuser, google search, street view ... They do get downloaded from the market but then it says 'there is a prob in parsing the package' its pretty frustrating and the the clock app's alarm feature has some problem ! whatever alarm u set the appear blank !!

I think creed was good, but the only problem i encounter in this i dont see the xloud i am using the 2.1 version, i also cannot post to the thread of creed.

yapz the kernel for overclock is not ready yet..
we can wait someone to experiment the kernelMod for us

CREED ROM> Have been facing small issue in notification bar is that, Audio controls are missing in notification bar while playing music and the icon is very small.
This issue should be fixed.

I hav d same prob cannot update those 3 apps
And theres this gps prob...i cnt connect to gps when m at home. I dnt think it cz of the rom tho cz it ws wrking good in 2.3.5, the prob strtd aftr i updated to 2.3.6. I triied various fixes frm market bt tht didnt help, anybody got a solution? :')

Use LA1 OR LA2 LATEST ROM....SECONDLY INTEGRATE THEME MANAGER FROM CM7...LAUNCHER SHOULD BE CHANGED TO SUMTHING COOLER

Enable flash player armv6 version on the stock browser..

Same here but i uninstalled the app DL again from the market pulled the app and pushed it to the system apps

Oh yea as for the probs. When i change the status bar (systemUI) the next thng will happen-- status bar gone. Do you have same probs with me?

first of all great rom thanks to developer
but i have few problem in recent 2.1 update
1- In dialer screen the dialer overlaps the contacts suggestions
2- sometimes status bar gets messed up
3- music players like ttpod and power amp are not working
4- equalizers downloaded from market are also not working
5- backup options in CWM recovery is also not working
So if any one can tell me a solution to these problems i will be very happy
i don't wana switch back to 2.0 because the new update is much cool looking :-D
And i hope developer will fix these problems in next version

please port ICS, the theme in 2.1 is very good!

need a2sd darktremmor included on the next update..
i dont like link2sd because of problem widget
and one more things...

I have a small problem when I turn on the usb storage is notofication bars is gone or like hide. and if i turn off it, it will back.
does anyone know how to fix it ??

It might b dt ur status bar is installed in d sdcard
Use titanium backup to chk if it is so nd move it to internal memory

So guy's I'm using my sgy for 6 months and I didn't use any anti virus apps...
Do you guys use anti virus app?

Avast is a good anti virus... you can also try AVG... both are good anti-viruses

I use lookout....
Dnt knw about virus bt it gives pretty good security features..
**rooting is new for me...and i am noob to root...**

lol it only protect your sdcard not you system.. because there is no malware on android OS..

I'm using Kaspersky.

I used AVG before but currently I'm not using one. But if your a bit paranoid and want one for the ease of mind security, then i'd suggest AVG, i guess. Although, i haven't had any problems since I stopped using an antivirus.

Me to,only becouse anty theft setings nd comands via sms (tested to :good

if you are using custom rom most of them already come with integrated firewall which is pretty much all we want
but if you want one i would suggest lookout

an antivirus app only uses resources, it isn't necessary

Actually it is though I've only ran into to 1 virus in my time with android (not counting adware) it was a SMS sender meaning it would have sent a crap load of SMS's to people in my phonebook which would have costed me money and created some awkward situations

well, i try to make it but cant...then i realize why even dev cant make it (maybe )
galaxy y is a little different, it u have a look at galaxy ace for example...
look in setting>wireless & network...
u will find here an option to TICK - USE ONLY 2G (save more battery)
thats why toggle 2g/3g can be done to it, while galaxy y dont have that option...
so, i think toogle 2g/3g will only can be done when galaxy y or any dev can make first that option to TICK the use only 2G option

You can choose between GSM(2G) AND WCDMA(3G) mode to get a specific type of network. The thing u r telling used to come in our older firmwares and its still in there in my mom's froyo phone but the new one looks better.

I use HD widgets for that.

In other ROM's we have that option,
Settings -> Wireless and Networks -> Mobile Networks -> Use 2G Network (saves battery)
Cyanogenmod Rom have this kind of option.

But i have seen many apps in play store that gives u widget to toggle between 2g and 3g...
Nd reviews aggreed to that term too...

its not working, all the widget either set to on-off data or just a shortcut to wireless setings...

yes...older version use to have it, and new version for device like galaxy s or s plus have it...but to galaxy y...the small phone that eats more battery

take a look at our standby and talk time,
compare it to other smartphones,
we are at par with them,
we only have 1200mah of battery but we kick a$$
use GSM,
by default it's 2G,
don't use WCDMA,
battery is dependent on the knowledge of the user, the phone's capacity and tweaks,

Hi i am in stock rom Nordic xxli2 i have that option in my galaxy y, only use 2G to save more battery
but mabye you can use/try thls one

u wrong now i'm using new october release of XXLI2 nordic version (change the csc to my country of coz)
now i have it, next step...to make shortcut from lidroid status bar for toggle it

On the pre last german its standard in settings too.

RAM Increase

Guys, does anyone know how to increase the RAM size on galaxy w? I've tried to use every task killer on the market n still I cant improve my RAM usage. If anyone can help me, plz provide a link or a guide to increase RAM. Thx

There's no way to increase RAM. You can try to flash arco's CM10 or camcory's SlimBean and use forfivo's MAXMEM kernel.[395 RAM I think] The two ROM's that I recommended are by far the two best Jelly Bean ROM for our phone. They are fast and quite stable for daily use.

Isn't that MAXMEM kernel compatible with CM9 beta3? Or I must flash CM10 first? If compatible with CM9, how to flash?

I think that is compatible only with JB...

And don't forget that MAXMEM interferes with your Camera.

Yes its only for JB ROMs. You could try to use RAM Manager and choose [Balance (More free memory)]. I always have 100 free RAM.(Without using any TASK KILLER!)

you can try the newest JB rom and change the kernel that made by madridii, if you still using GB, try to change your external memory with class 10 aor higher, that could slightly improve the perfomance :good:

Try madriid kernel 390 mb ram . I use it for cm10.1( i use liquidsmooth) .. Not sure if it is available for cm9. The only con is you cant record 720p (perfectly ok for me )
When i free my ram , i can get up to 200mb free . But normally only 80-120mb free (i use swiftlkey which is heavy, whatsapp always open, facebook..)

The guy above is not asking questions but necroposting to almost 1 year old threads. If it were a question then ok, but suggesting something to people who stopped continuing a thread almost 1 year ago is pure nonsense.

Ok , it is just my suggestion to whoever is after ram increase.
If someone use the search button or happen to see the thread about ram increase ,my thoughts shared here wont have been " pure nonsense".

Ok, but you know what necroposting is? If it were just that simple I could also jump into all 2 years old "death" threads, even the ones before CM was launched for this device and write everywhere the same suggestion like " Flash JB with xy-kernel and all your problems will be solved".
So like said. If it were a question related to a topic than ok, but flooding the forum with about one and the same suggestion in death threads is nonsense and called necroposting nor helpful anymore to the ones who were discussing there one or two years ago.

Note:-for best experience wipe dalvic and cache..
#Installation:-
You need this(Download xposed zip and xposed apk and app setting frm attachment below)
1)you need working recovery on ur phone
2)if u r on 5.1.1 then ok.if not then flash 5.1.1 on ur t2
3)flash this Decepticon.zip then xposed_22sdk.zip
4) (very important.this may give u bootloop) wipe cach,wipe dalvik cach and then wipe data
5)reboot ur phone(first boot will take around 7 to 8 min approx)
6)when phone bootsup dont touch it let it settle for 2mins
7)nw directly install xposed app and app setting app u downloaded frm attachment
Activate app setting in xposed then reboot
8).when phone boots up go to app setting and find incallui and set its dpi for 280 and save..you r done!!!!
9)your phone is ready enjoy!!

And stock sony lollipop experience with kitkat like battery life
One more no blotware just music, camera dialer,setting and etc u know what is important. I hope u understand what I want to say.. Thanks in advance..

U can use any cpu apps for it bt bcoz of stamina mode..it will again change to as per stamina mode

if my opinion then Google drive is good.. Because it alow user to download from any isp and browser.. Mega only work with its appss.. If it will be in drive then many people will able to get it...

Great job dude.. Working fast looks stble on I want more add timeshift video I have that apk if u want and I want Sony stock t2 call ui.. This is not bad it Google call ui but I love my t2 lolipop stock call ui.. I will tell u tomorrow if will able to find any bug... Thnk u so much dude.. Awesome work..

1-Second sim didn't ring on callss.. Not able chose ringtone.
