Couldn't find it through searching so if someone could answer this for me, it'd be great.
I'm considering purchasing an Incredible, but am definitely thinking of going with the 1750 or 2150 extended battery. Do these calibrate correctly with the phone's battery meter? The ones on the Droid 1 do not, Droid 1 users have to reboot to see their actual usage. If it would contribute to a more accurate answer, I will most likely be running custom roms with 1% indications. Thanks
Yes, best I can tell. I have the Seidio 1750 and I have to say, if you don't mind your phone being a little thicker I'd go with the HTC 2150. I still barely make it through a full day with moderate use.
Yes they read correctly, just bought the 2150 yesterday. Thought it was defective due to it taking 8+hrs to charge from 56%, but it was my usb cable. Sad thing is the phone is only 1wk old. Got it on a two year contract, not a CPO either. They do provide a better experience versus stock. Got 12+hrs of heavy usage, without bump charging.
Thanks for the replies. Yeah I was considering the 2150, but I don't like added bulk (kind of the reason why I want to switch from a Droid to an Inc). I like what this guy did, but have no experience whatsoever in dremeling http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=703332
I bought an 1800 battery off eBay and it fits tthe normal back so no bulk

Thanks for your opinion. One more question (I hope this isn't a stupid one) do I need to look for special roms for the SLCD incredible? Or can I use any ROM?

I have the 3700Mah battery and I end the day with 30% lol.
The added bulk is all good because with the new back it's a perfect square.
Hello all, Like everyone these little Aria's are nice devices..
I however seem to have mine plugged to something all the time...
My ARIA, is rooted and running froyo 2.2, still the battery life is awful, even wit the average apps turned off.
1. are there extended battery's available for the ARIA?
2. are my only options buying several battery's and swapping?
3> does anyone have any advice that may help my ARIA, stay away from the dreaded WIRE for charging??
any help would be awesome..........tattooer
let the battery run all the way before you charge it
If you are having battery issues, I'd root it. Once you root, you can wipe battery stats, flash CM (amazing battery life), etc.

I think they have portable chargers...
I saw one at best buy, where you charge it (basically an external battery) and you can plug your phone into it when you need a charge for the phone.
Energizer Energi to go is also another option...
As for me, to get the best battery life I turn off 3g, since I'm mostly around wifi anyway.
My phone is running froyo 2.2 from a file.on my see card, I rooted my phone Rondo this. Is cm6. Betterr. Than froyo for battery life?
So there are no battery replacements that give more battery Life??I have searched. The web over and over.thanks for the help. Between cm6 and froyo which has the best battery. Life?
instead of thinking, 'i need to replace the battery because it doesn't last long enough', try thinking 'what can i do to help my phones battery last a bit longer'.
firstly, read this tutorial.
in regards to task killers, i suggest reading this, and this and this.
lastly, i would recommend installing juicedefender and watchdog.
also if you're willing since its still experimental I have been using build #12 of CM7 nightlies and my batteries last much longer then when I had 2.2. I play games check articles blah blah and get about 40% life left when I go to bed around 14 hours of usage time.

Hi guys! I've never had serius problems with the battery of my Gratia (the European version of the Aria), but i have to recharge it every 2 days (or every day if I use it much more than the ordinary) and it's a bit annoying... I saw a powerful battery (2430 mah) in ebay, so if you are desperate you can try it
i can't give you the link because it's my first post
if you are intersted just write htc gratia battery on the search bar of the website.
PS: i'm sorry for my english be patient !

You are talking about "GOLD 2430MAH BA S430 BUSINESS BATTERY FOR HTC GRATIA"
The price and capacity sounds too good to be true. Curious if anyone tried these out.
I thought the same thing... i don't need to try it, but i'm a bit curious to know if it really works.
There is no way to pack 2430mah in a small form factor like that.
It should be over twice the thickness of a standard aria battery.
To get any extra milliamps, you would have to thicken or lengthen the battery.
Stock is it until they come out with something newer than lithium.

couldn't agree more with this. v6 supercharger is the way!
I don't understand: supercharger seems to be responsible to faster phone, does it also helps battery life?
I was wondering how many people got these on sale(12 bucks on amazon) and what results they got.
Ive had mine through a couple charge cycles now and im not impressed at all, doesnt feel like its doubled my battery life.
Im at 80% after 2 hours, with only 16 minutes of screen on time. This might actually be worse than stock. The battery summary doesnt show any major drain from apps, and go launchers running app list doesnt show anything out of the ordinary either.
Im running Faux 0.9/Juggernaut 4.1/Litening theme
Im not sure what else I can do, battery is draining ridiculously fat.
It could be just be a defective one. Some custom roms dont recognize the batter stats properly as well. Try exchanging the battery for a new one and also try a different rom. Also try Wipe Battery Stats in clockworkmod recovery.

Hmm, thats kinda scary, would reflashing a rom from scratch fix that?
Also, google has stated wiping stats does nothing, thats a recent development.
As for exchanging, its from amazon, it took 3 weeks to ship this one to me lol.
It might be defective, it did take 9 hours to charge. 3500/650 should be ~ 5.3 hours, but maybe this is why it was on sale for 12 bucks.
Yes, the myth was that wiping battery stats improves the overall battery life but I was not saying this in hopes of improving it. I was just saying to see if it will correctly display how much battery life you have on your rom because one time I had a problem where my battery life stayed at 100% and after wiping it it correctly displayed how much I had left.
If it takes 9 hours to charge then I think its very likely that you do have a defective one. Rechargeble batteries tend to show that kind of symptom when you charge it often without letting it drain first. Try completely draining your battery below 10% and fully charge without stopping (dont pull the plug). If the battery life is still the same and it still takes around 9 hours to charge then I think its safe to say you do you have a defective one.
Also, please double check that the particular battery that you have is compatible with SGS2 Hercules model. Look at the battery information and compare it to the stock one. Make sure the voltages match.
I flashed Mr X's kernel, since Faux has been off since 0.07 for me.
When i charged it last night, it was from 0%, and it took around 3 hours to reach 34%, so im estimating the 9 hours based on that.
The stickers on it say 'Replacement for Hercules T989' Li-Ion 3.7v, i dont have my stock battery atm so i cant see if its the same, ill check that later.
I find it faster to charge using the usb plug converter instead of off the laptop using the usb cable. If I were you, I'd just use the stock battery until the new one ships in. I believe that's your best bet.
I may not even seek a replacement. It was 12 bucks, shipping would cost half the cost of the battery, and it would take them 3-4 weeks to ship another. The original order took 3.5 weeks to be delivered.

Peal off the cover of the battery. It should say how big the battery actually is. I highly doubt its 3500. But you never know

I was about to say this. You more or less likely got a fake Chinese battery that claims it's "..." mAh, but in reality it's significantly less. I've seen this happen too many times on the EVO 3D forums.
Theres no label, the writing is printed on.

I was excited to get this battery thinking that it would atleast give me one and half times more backup than the original. However, the backup i'm getting is not any better than the original battery. I will see for a couple of more days and if it is still same, i'll move back to the original battery and keep this one as back up. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews

Most cheaper priced batteries out there engage in false advertising. Don't believe the mah numbers you see even if they are the same as the stock oem battery. Its cheap for a reason just like the fake micro sd/flash drives for sale at Ebay. There are also shady vendors in Amazon who pump up their own ratings by leaving positive reviews especially the "ProdiCell" cell phone battery brand. With the exception of Seido and Muge, I would only stick with Samsung oem batteries. The Samsung Nexus extended oem 2100 mah battery is really good for $24.99 (50% off 49.99 at the Verizon store). I do see the extra 14% life. I went 34 hours the other day on stock 2.3.6 before my phone died. I actually ran 30mins of video at the end to run out the charge.
Ill try this out with synergy, since faux i heard was a drainer, and if no luck ill stick my stock battery in and continue to use my ballistic case. Ill also give it one more day.
Never tried an alternative battery till this one, and if im gonna go bulky again ill get that 3900 mah mugen, since that appears to be the real deal.

Depends on what you use, however most custom roms go longer then stock roms.
Can also be caused by underclock, overclock, auto sync, scripts, gps, wifi always on etc

Why not buy this one? This is an official battery from Samsung with 1500mAh instead of 1350mAh.

Did you bother reading the review below? They're saying that the description is incorrect and the battery is too big for the Gio...
so does anyone here ever tried extended battery? i've been looking into any forums. but always find problem, which is bigger in size, or the voltage is not stabil.
and i doubt that if the extended battery for gio would be so cheap. any suggestion?
I look for good quality battery with>mAh than original gio battery
Not sure if you can find one. Anyway it is always better to use original hardware, just pay attention to your phone settings (wifi, widgets, live wallpapers) and disconnect everything that you don't need .
I'm going to buy some of the battery... it looks like really good for me...
I wonder if it's realy possible to have a significant higher capacity battery with the same size.
In my previous phone (Nokia N82) I replaced my original battery with some chinese one which looked exactly the same as my original but it was no match for the real one. It performed slightly better than my original Nokia battery of 2 years old .
With batteries I guess you get what you pay for.
I got a gold battery from ebay for pretty cheap (i think $20 with shipping). It seems to work better than the original. It is 1430mah iirc. I've run a few tests on both batteries and it does work better by about 20 percent. Perhaps he original battery was defective *shrug* I'm really not sure how they stuff more juice in the same amount of space. Using the new battery with wifi/3g on and trillian and gmail syncing in the background, the phone will last 15 hours with regular use. Never tested with wifi/3g off and a lower screen brightness, perhaps it would last much longer. Still I've got the original battery with me as a backup.
Edit: Running gold battery all the way to dying i'm reaching 33 hours at this point with some system tweaks. Lower brightness, just trillian running and gmail accounts syncing. Still curious how long it'd go with wifi and data turned off but I havent had a chance to test that. My older phone had an aftermarket battery that was three times the size of the original and special cover came with it. It made the device quite heavy but i didnt mind since i had about 4 times the power. I wish they had that for the gio.
1,5 days and it's off
I use Governor Smartassv2 and i cannot have more than 1,5 days with stock battery.
help
where can i get cheap batteries
you could get them from ebay/dealextreme/focalprice/...
And always invest some time to read what others have to say about an item before you buy it
is there a final report on the battery search?
Not really, i really wish charging cases would come out for more devices, instead of just the iphone though.
Okay so I found myself in need of a new battery after the last post I made about it screwing up, so I went shopping and found a replacement to the mugen 3500hz battery for $85.00.
I ran across a Hyperion 3500hz battery and because it had no ratings and was cheaper, I almost didn't buy it..
Now, I bought one and I got it within 3 days of purchase, which is by far the fastest I have ever got shipping from anyone, even over night shipping.
Now onto the battery, it came with a cover and it made my phone twice the size of its original state, it came with a new cover as it was needed to fit my phone, I'm glad it fit well and since I have big hands, its ideal as now I can use the slide out keyboard!! Big bonus for me!
Alright so they suggest to let it charge for 12 hours (so slow charging of course it makes since).
They suggest to do a 5 time charge and drain, for best results of the battery and best life.. I always do this anyways because that's what all batteries are supposed to be done with anyways.
I have not yet got to test it as I just got it today, so I will update this once I get the chance, like a week or so.
The Hyperion group offers a full 90-day warranty of the product, that was the downfall but $13.00 and free standard shipping and $4.00 expedited shipping, I was willing to take a chance.
So now I have to test its performance and will update this but its looking better already.
My kernel tweaks will let me benchmark the battery and I will post a few screen shots and pics later as well.
-+-+-Okay so this is the edit -+-+-

These are the tools and the battery used for this evaluation. I hope you will enjoy this app!
Okay day one:
This battery is awesome! I have not had to charge at all since last night and I'm still at 60% since last night leaving my phone on Facebook all night was not an issue, I also played music a lot, will game tonight or tomorrow and bench the battery as soon as possible.
So my battery lasts as long on wifi as it would on just cellular data connection and I can leave it run all day no issues thus far.
I've had to charge it for three and a half hours, so those who don't have that amount of time without the phone, might wanna look into other options.
Thanks for the information...I'm wondering if you'd be willing to load Battery Monitor Widget and see what it reports the actual mah as...thanks.
I'd link it...but haven't posted enough to be able to link...yet.
Sure. I will load a couple different battery and screenshots.
Its made by the same dev team as system tuner so no doubt I should have already had this lol thanks for the new tool and one sec I'll load a screenshot
I'm not sure if I should let this log a while before I use it but heres a few screenshots after I installed.
I have a lot running too in the background and nothing's been adjusted since I bought the battery. Hope that this helps everyone.
If anyone has a good oem battery that they could post the specs of id appreciate it
Also if anyone has the specs of a mugen battery (I'm not rich or brave enough to drop $80.00 on a battery), you'd be doing the community justice as well by letting us all see the spec details of that battery too.
And after its had time to gather info, here is the update
And I will post another later on after I get the chance to charge it and let it give a full charge detailed view.

Okay so upon actually going into the settings, your supposed to set the battery mAh as it was mentioned.
The battery calibration tool will set this apparently, I have to go through it all when I have the time because I gotta go to work for now but, I will take care of it so don't hold all the new screenshots to heart as I haven't had time to ajust it.
Anyways the battery in general on the package says 3500mAh so we will see.
Thanks foe patience and I will purchase this app to use for future tests

Thanks for your efforts...is that 3500mah now being reported from using the Calibration feature in the app...or did you input it manually?
Okay its not fully charged, but I have a better understanding of this app and I must say it was quite easy once I read the online help.
Okay so the mAh is indeed 3500/3500 which the second number is what the battery is supposed to be according to the factory settings. However, as the battery drains it looses mAh, which after reading I found is natural, its just the capacity it can hold, but.. I seen it can Max out at a higher level which makes my new battery my best hardware upgrade to date
Okay so screen one:
A show of the capacity at maximum possible.
Screen 2:
A show of the timing. I am showing all my power hungry apps and those I run most often, why? Because this helps to show the newbies and others who didn't know what they will get of their battery and what's best to shut off or uninstall.
Screen 3:
This just shows full run time after a full charge. I wanted to share it so you can see what to expect from usage of the battery and I can honestly say that I have had it last depending on a few variables. If I drop my processor down from 1.28ghz to its factory 1.0ghz I get much better performance, but if I run 20 apps and wifi, I will lose as well and much more..
Okay so I think we should have a hardware section not just accessories, I know its a battery and kinda falls in aftermarket, but its really needed so we can share info on the phone.
Damn it I think tapatalk glitchy cuz of an update I got.. anyway here the pics hopefully in proper order

I will throw this in...having done a little more research...there is a thread on Android Forums...I can't yet post the link but Google "Beware Hyperion batteries"...talking about Hyperion batteries being much less capacity than advertised when you peel off the label and look at how the metal cases are stamped...which is a common issue with aftermarket batteries coming from China. There are also threads here on XDA about Hyperions not being what they advertise. The only two brands I've seen where people say they consistently get what they pay for seem to be Mugen, which are mega-expensive, and Anker.
