So everytime i send a pic via text message, it ends up sending it as a video. Is this normal?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
yep perfectly normal...
is there way to send it just as a pic? or am i stuck like this
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
When that happens to me it's because I'm trying to send a big picture. Try turning the resolution down.

doesnt work, i used the lowest quality possible but it still sends it as a video
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
I thought this was fairly typical for Samsung phones
If you want em sent as pix just use a third party messenger such as hand cent.they will go thru only as pix
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
yes...handcent is what i use..and gives the option to send pics in mms format if to large..and works flawless for me...plus the themes and fonts are killer on it......
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
Not sure if this could be done with any other device but I noticed I could zoom In and out of web pages by just touching the edge of the screen up and down.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using XDA Premium HD app
Yes... I personally do not like that
Anyway to turn off?
Sounds like a slight way to avoid and Apple patent hmmm...

Had no idea our SGSIII's are this capable. Worth the download. Possibly the most impressive example of where mobile computing/gaming is going. Makes everything out there look dated.

From what I've seen
On high roofs of buildings render crappy
50% resolution borked the game
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
There's an issue with a few of the roof textures ... [email protected] 1280x720 @ constant > 30fps average of 45 or so on high quality. ...
Its a new demo...im sure a fix for the minor glitches can come out...
Just a guess...by the looks of the corruption it is a frame buffer issue with that surface. No biggie.
So much looks good though, its forgivable for now
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
so is the main purpose of this app just to show off the great graphics? or is there an actual game to play?? kinda confused and just walking through the enviroment..
Just a tech demo and benchmark.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
Looks beautiful. I didn't know this phone was capable of such good graphics. Of course, if that were a game, it wouldn't run it so smoothly with all these other scripts and whatnot running in the background. But still really nice.

It appears in all the photos, I have cleaned the lenses with a napkin but it is still there in the photos. This blackish spot

I would be more interested in the huge pinkish blurred circle in the middle which is common on samsung but no idea about the dark spot.
Sorry I wasnt really a help there.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
The pinkish ks there because the headlamp was shining at almkst 10cm on the paper. Its normal, but what about the black spot?

Anyone?

I had this issue with my iPhone 4 about a year ago. I brought it in to apple and they said some camera lenses are just bad and need replacement. (It occurred randomly, I had a good year of usage before the grey spot appeared.) If you are under warrantee, bring it to samsung, otherwise, any local repair facility should be able to swap the camera out for you (not necessarily cheap).
So we all know the GS4 out of the box has some atrocious lag. Well I went through the steps to clear a lot of it out without rooting. Just stock, and changing some settings within the OS itself. But I was still noticing some small lag here and there. Well it turns out I put my GS4 on the charger and start using it, and I notice that there is significantly less lag, I unplug it, and then it goes back to usual lag. I have done this back and forth a couple of times, with the same results.
So could it be that Samsung ramps up the CPU when on the charger?

Your power save could be on?

I never experienced lag on this phone until yesterday and I noticed google services was using uo my battery. Went to the google settings and there is a new option call android device manager and I unchecked all the location settings and lag gone. Also if you have google currents go into settings and disable background sync.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 2
Checked that and it's completely off. I wouldn't put it past Samsung do that, we've already seen them ramp up the processor and gpu for the benchmark rests, my guess is that they lower the clock speed when not charging or maybe below a certain percentage.

No lag here. Sorry to hear that bro
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
It's not like it's everywhere, it's just in a few places, like hangouts, where my One never lagged, or sometimes a jitter when swiping through apps or home screens. Guess I'm just not used to it coming from the One. But there is a difference in performance when plugged into a charger and not.

Watch a movie on the one or play a game. Its night and day compared to the S4.
My cousin has the one. YouTube takes at least 2 more seconds, worse quality, and skips.
Games skip/lag, and loading time is longer for the One.
You gotta take the good with the bad with either phone.

That is true, the YouTube app is much more solid on the GS4. But one small thing is that I get this huge black bar at the top of my YouTube app when I switch from portrait to landscape. Anyone know how to fix that?

That's just the app itself. That's not even a problem. If something like that REALLY bother you, then you're EXTREMELY anal about things.
P.s. I think you're a ONE fanboy that came on here to put down the S4.

I have the weird app issue, so does my brother, and my mom. Both have galaxy S4. Why can't YouTube/Google fix this. Shouldn't be to difficult?

Exactly what black line are you referring to?
I even took a screenshot of YouTube with the search bar left on. No double black bar on my phone.
Like I said before. Its a ROM/app issue. Or phone issue.
