i read the thread but didn't see how to root it. i just want to know what file do i odin when i'm on ek02. i know how to do it just don't know which i am supposed to odin and btw i want it completely stock just rooted.

can you please direct me to a link of a kernel that will give me root but keep it stock.
i tried one but it wouldn't flash in odin

I had stock rooted with CWM, then just flashed Calkulin's v2.0 ROM. Still have root and loving it.

in that same post they had a rooted update, and you would have been fine

Can I flash from ics back to gingerbread

Hey I'm on the xda app I'm having browser issues and I can't search forum specific for sme reason I jut wnna no if I can go from ics to gingerbread without odin thanks .

you can go back to an mtd rom. just be sure to wipe

Toadlife just released an EL30 CleanGB 1.1 for MTD. Grab and flash that.

Just flash and mtd gingerbread rom... if your wanting to go back to stock bml gingerbread odin is the only way...

Flashing a custom kernel.

I'm running Juggernaut 5.0 and it runs smooth as butter. The thing is I like the way Malice II ran more so. Can I flash the darkside x2 kernel to a Juggernaut 5.0 install with no issues? If so, where can I download a flashable zip file of the darkside kernel. Is using CWM the best way to go?

This is the same as sfhub's ROM - rooted and with busybox added - just deodexed and zipaligned. ROM was deodexed with dsixda's Android Kitchen. I'm at work so I haven't tested it myself just yet but there shouldn't be any issues.

Scared myself to death when I went to flash the lockscreen mod and the recovery android just fell over and died, I thought for sure I bricked. Then I realized you included the stock and not the unlocked kernel. Thanks for putting this out Josh.
