Polaroid 16 GB MicroSDHC Class 2, $18 After Rebate

I highly recommend this card. It is a class 2 card however it performs solidly like a class 6.

Good find. although I hate Fry's with a passion. Their website wouldn't even pick up the correct town for me - it insisted on using another town name for the billing address regardless that the USPS website indicated my correct town name...damn you Fry's.

Frys is a store that costs me lots of money every time I go ha ha

This is my 16g class 2 sandisk from my touch pro. its got a few years on it i believe and seems to still be outperforming that Polaroid.

Sandisk = super YMMV
I have a Class 2 Sandisk 8 GB like that, but also a Class 2 16 GB that only does about 5 MB/s write.

You think this one is odd then? I'm not that familiar with SD card performance stats.

Woah, your Sandisk is so much better than mine. Mine does 2.8 mb/7 mb write/read.
As I was saying, this card is really quick for a class 2.

I just got this card, and tested it in my Evo 4G using SD Card Speed Test app. 6 MB/sec write and 13MB/sec read. 16 GB Class 6 speed rocks for $20 (incl shipping, after rebate).

Test on desktop with a real benchmark software, it is much more accurate.

Wintec 16gb Micro SDHC Class 10

Just picked up a Wintec 16gb Micro SDHC class 10 at Frys for $24.99 on sale. Class 10? WTF i thought, so I bought it anyway and this thing is darn fast. Well a lot faster than the stock Evo card. Using SD card Speed Test from the market it's Write speed is at 9mb/s and Reading is 15mb/s. We'll see how long it lasts.

I want one!

I don't see it on the Frys.com site either. I went in for the Kingston 16gb C4 they have in their Friday's sales ad. I couldn't find the kingston so I asked and he said it was in the cage, started looking for the item on the PC and I noticed a Micro SD for $24.99 on the screen so I asked and it was the Wintec C10 card. Item number is 6427462, sticker on the back says it's $39.99.

It has to be a mistake, i only see sdhc nowhere does it state that is a microsd except from the (possible mistake) item picture.
UPDATE: i call them and they confirm that is not a MICRO SD, is a SDCARD CLASS 10. The picture is wrong and they will fix the picture. The description state that is SDHC CARD and not a micro. so please cancel your orders because a SD will not fit in the evo.

Not doubting you, dude. If there was a Frys in my town, I'da gone there immediately. But it was a mistake at the store - that's why the item # you posted didn't work - and a mistake on line, wrong pic. The other item # worked on line and it was a picture of the one you got, but the actual product being sold was a SDHC, not a micro, got the reciept right here and Frys confirmed.

Just got a 16gb Class 10 SD card

I just received my 16gb class 10 microSD today. I got it from Buy.com

It was $32 after tax.
It comes with an adapter and a reader, which basically looks like a little usb flash drive that you put your memory card into and then plug into the usb port.
So far, no problems with it. It is actually like 14.9gb, but I guess thats just how it goes. It's been holding and managing files well, but I don't really know how to accurately test it. I've been downloading a lot of songs and pictures, taking pictures and video, moving files around, deleting things, and its handling everything, no errors.

Just one more update...
The card is still working well. No problems what-so-ever. If you're looking for a good LEGIT 16gb card, this one is a good deal.
I've just noticed that nobody really follows up on a review for batteries or sdcards, they only talk a lot.

Most people are looking for speed tests to validate a card being the class that it claims. Since there are so many ones that tend to exaggerate their speeds.
Perhaps run a speed test on the card and post the results. You can find some freeware ones doing a Google search. I personally have used Crystal Disk Mark and it worked fine.

You could try SD tools app. I bought a class 4 16g sandisk.
I modified the read ahead to 2048 but didn't do a test before dunno if it helped

Looks nice...I might have to buy one because I think my POS Wintech 16gb cl10 card is starting to fail on me.

My 8 gig class two that I've had through two completely different phones and countless downloads and erasing files as well as a few reformats has similar speeds after using SD speed boost...I've hit higher but scaled it back as I was afraid of hurting it.

Post a pic, lets see what urs comes in at.

That's quite a price. I prefer Kingston but you can only get a 16gb Class 4 for that price.

Awesome. I tested my slow 8GB card and it doesn't even come close to that. Just bought one of these. Thanks for the speed test. Hopefully mine is as fast.

I just bought this today and hopefully it will be here by the end of the week. I will post some screenies of my speed test when it comes in as well. If mine has this same speed this is a great deal for anyone looking for a 16gb card. Anyone else who bought this should post some screenshots of their speedtest results on this card. The more we have verify the speeds the more likely we will know whether this is good or just a gimmick or just luck of the draw on speed.

Bought one of these for my 2nd EVO today. Will post speeds when SD card received and tested. I have a 32GB Class 10 in my 1st EVO and it screams but don't need quite that much storage capacity in 2nd EVO. Hope it turns out to be a good buy with great speed.

so i just did a test on my class 2 card i bought from frys, i get a 10 mb/s write but only a 5 mb/s read. this probably explains all the time i have to wait for my pictures to load in my gallery.

32GB Micro SDHC Class 10 Samsung vs Lexar

Hi guys I've found many benchmarks for the Lexar card, but nothing for Samsung
Can anyone comment?
I've already placed an order on the Samsung, but I didn't see the Lexar on the website till just now.
Update: I just cancelled the order as it's awaiting stock, placed an order for the Lexar for now.
The only difference between the 2 products bundled items is that Samsung give an SD card adapter, and Lexar give a micro sdhc usb reader. And Samsung boast sea water/shock proof.
I'll be using it in my 32gb asus transformer prime

The seller looks pretty legitimate. I have that card and it is really good.

the samsung 32gb class 10 is my favorite as well - seems to be faster even as the samsung 16GB class 10 one

No you can get them to price match RADIOSHACK'S online price which is $39.99 USD for class 10 64gb

The one at best buy is a class 6. Not 10. I seen this on their web last night. If u look at the model #

I can't tell from the picture SkullNBones19 posted, but I can confirm that Best Buy has a class 10 in stores for $49.99. And I had no problems getting it price matched to RadioShack.

I am going to have to make a trip to Best Buy.
Especially if they will price match it to the $39.99 price of Radioshack's.

Yeah I can confirm that I got the class 10 from BestBuy. They price matched Radioshacks online price with no problem.

I too will confirm that I picked up the 64GB Class 10 card from BB.
The model number at their store is SDSDQUI-064G-A11A. The only difference that I notice is that it's missing the word "Mobile" on the packaging. Don't let that fool you. It is the exact same card as SDSDQUA-064G-A11A and they should price match it with no problem.

Only saw a class 6 64gb microsdxc at best buy.

What are the possibilities that a card could be labelled a 10 but only be a 6? Probably unlikely...
I saw no 6s at my store..... only 10.

I picked up a class 10 version of this card today at Best Buy and they price matched Radio Shack on it. Pretty nice price! $39.99.

How i got my 64GB card today from BestBuy
1st it was in the Digital Cam area in a Hard Plastic Securty Case
2nd confermed it was a class 10
3rd went to the check out counter not the cell phone or any other regusister
4th show her on the Phone that it was the same (making sure not to show it was out of stock)
she keyed it in called for a manager he didnt even look at the product and typed his PW and i was outtie
NOTE:
my local bestbuy would only price match in stock items and when i asked at the Cell phone counter they wanted to call
so i tried the back door and that how i got the price match

Okay everything went smoothly. I had no problems getting priced matched.
