[Radio] Wildfire S Radio Files (only with S Off) - HTC Wildfire S

Hello.
Simply download the file, copy it into the root directory of the SD card, rename to "PG76IMG.zip" and start the boot loader. Installation will start automatically and must be confirmed with a key.
For updating a boot loader with S-off is required. With S-On is an update on possible only via RUU. Battery should have more than 50%!

What is the radio?
It is the firmware of the radio unit (sending and receiving). An update can be positively or negatively affect battery performance and radio reception.
Where can I see the version of my Radio Files
In the boot loader:

Hello , I`ve just updated the radio files . After a few days of use I`ll share the experience. Thanks for the work!
[EDIT: Call now with cleaner sound]
[EDIT #2 : Greatly increased battery life. Thanks again !]

I will share my experiences next week

After some days trying out the Radio 7.53.39.03M - going back now to older version.
The firmware had problems with bluetooth and my Kenwood BT 60 Radio. Did not connect always and never finished loading the phonebook.
But anyways thanks for sharing
Sammy98

could I extract a radio from a nandroid or flashable zip?
Radios are not as important to the cdma family [perhaps PRLs]; nevertheless, I would enjoy the learning exercise if its possible. If so, I'll post and you can make a radio thread like Football's RUU thread. Seen it with other phones, and you will probably get stickied Let me know.

Hi Rob.
I use the same way as used in the Root Thread to install the recovery.
I start the RUU and wait until the RUU is full started.
open the Tmp Folger on my PC (Windows Key + R >> %tmp%
search for a rom.zip file
open the file and extract the radio.img file
I use the PG67IMG.zip from the Root Thread (Recovery) as master, del the recovery.img and add the radio file. Maybe you can also rename the Rom.zip to PG76IMG.zip and delete the other stuff like recovery, Hboot, system... i think it should the same result.
Greetings Christian.

i have 7.57.39.10M its good? battery 1 day...
sory my english...

Can't install Official WM6 ROM coz SPL 2.10

Hi,
I would like to install the latest o2 WM6 Update. But, durin the installation my device turns into the 4-colour screen, and nothing happens. After a while i got a prompt on my PC, that the conenction got broken.
I think it's because my SPL (Bootloader) version 2.10.Olipro (HardSPL v7).
Do i need to downgrade to old 1.04 SPL to install the Update, or is there a way to modify the o2-RUUWrapper, so that it works for SPL 2.10 as well?
Thank you!

Really though, this is all we should give you. Hopefully these will be enough, but the wiki will help too. You will need to understand what to do from here, or else you cause yourself problems.
Does I only need to copy the costum wrapper in my unpacked official-o2 Rom directory?
My PDA is not here yet, so i can't try sry...^^
but thank you all

Assuming you're on Windows, put WINRAR on your machine as it makes some things much easier
To clarify things:
1)Right click on the downloaded exe package and choose extract (here or to folder) and winrar will extract some setup files. Now, in there, there is another exe file that can be extracted in the same way as the first one and this should produce some more setup files and RUU_SIGNED.NBH - this is the only file you need - you can delete everything else except this.
2)download RUU_Wrapper.exe or copy it from one of the more recent cooked ROMs in to the same folder which holds RUU_SIGNED.NBH and run it - this will then put it all on your phone
It's not olipro causing you any problems

[Q] How to flash a ROM after return from repair centre

A friend of me professionally demolished my DHD's screen. I brought it to my supplier (Vodafone NL) and they sent it to a repair centre (private company) and now its back. I had root acces, Honeysense, PVT SHIP S-OFF etc. but they applied an update.
I had clockworkmod recovery flashed before in case of emergency but I can't boot in the orange-white interface anymore. Normally its the annoying mistake when you leave your cable plugged in.
However I did some googling and found a movie of how the HBOOT recovery works (its the one from HTC isn't it?)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucBs9RVGL0w
Now, is it possible to flash a new rom on my DHD which seems to have the same HBOOT as the desire in the movie? I think I should wipe both data and cache and then 'apply update' and select the ROM but don't know for sure.
Normally I would use rom manager but it requires root and I dont have it. Or is there another way to flash a new ROM from HBOOT?
Status of my DHD currently

You have a few options so take your pick.
1) since your still soff you can flash the downgrade rom pd98img through hboot and reroot. Install cwr. Etc
2. I have a file on my laptop (pd98img) that will flash cwr for you. Note not my creation all credit goes to gene Poole.
3. If available you can flash a prerooted stock pd98img. I quickly glanced through the Dev section and didn't see one, but if you already have one or know where to look that's another option
no hay de queso no mas de papa
edit here is the PD98IMG for flashing CWR. just rename and flash through hboot. then you can flash a rom
Or u root your phone again...
Yeah, don't know whats the fastest way. It was a hell to gain root on my 2.2 Froyo.
I prefer to flash Clockworkmod recovery and then flash any ROM i like. However, since the CWM-Recovery is not really a part of the ROM i want to know why the hell it got removed at the 'software-upgrade' (it was a downgrade actually) at HTC.
Im downloading the attached file right now and i got a zip.
I have to flash it with the option mentioned in my OP (as in: boot into bootloader, Recovery, flash upgrade and then select the ZIP) right?
It gets removed when an ruu is flashed. During the repair they probably flashed the ruu as a normal practice on all phones.
So download the zip file, rename to pd98img, flash through bootloader. Reboot into bootloader select recovery and flash your rom.
If you do go the route of rerooting, its easier this time around because you already have soff. So you would just have to downgrade and run visionary

[SOLVED]HTCDev unlock? Error 191

Hi.
I'm having trouble unlocking the bootloader.
The first attempt:
I follow this guide, HTC Dev exe "works". After reboot the HBOOT is still 2.00.0027. At this point the firmware is 3.12.405.1.
I try the HTC exe again and get error 191. I run the Telus WWE 3.13.661.4 RUU exe, works fine. Try the HBOOT exe for that, and get error 191 here too.
I create a goldcard and put Telus WWE 3.13.661.4 on SD as PD98DIAG. The file keeps loading while saying "no image". Then i get the option to press vol up to flash and vol down to cancel. The phone freezes and it doesn't care what i press.
EDIT: Just tried choosing any option in fastboot while idle and it seems bootloader doesn't react to the volume keys eitherway...
Then I remember reading that the RUU zip is supposed to be newer than the current and try H3G UK 3.13.771.2, this time ONLY as a zip on sdcard. It fails and says that my current sw (telus wwe 3.13.661.4) is newer or "Main Image is older"..
Can you guys help me? After playing around with Samsung Galaxies and Sony Xperias this seems all too complicated lol
EDIT: Read below for solution.
first you have to upgarde your hboot to 2.00.0029
try one of these :

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2286438
then you can unlock from htcdev.com

Miillaaad, your first link was great!
I did manage to get as far as above photo shows.
But I tested the volume buttons in android and they seem to be fully dead!!
Is there another way to get past that screen, or a "silent" way of flashing the unlockcode?
EDIT: Ok, so after i punched the volume buttons really hard and fast for a minute, they started to work. Bootloader unlocked, woohoo!!!!
Thank you very much Miillaaad!!!

There's no problem.
rename the file to 0P6BING.zip (don't extract anything) and place it onto the root of your extSD.
Boot to bootloader and run hboot.
Done like dinner. Super simple. You are S-Off,correct?
It's not corrupted, it's encrypted......something completely different
Yes im s-off . I was afraid that will brick my phone after reading about corrupted . Thank you i will flash it tonight

Restoring Stock rom

Could I restore Stock rom on my htc m9 and how to do that?
And how I now which RUU to chose?
https://www.google.com/url?q=https:...134000&usg=AFQjCNGdzDwYjWYwYr-RSW3t2U9j47aOJw
Download this file. Copy it to your ext sdcard and rename it to 0PJAIMG.zip
Connect your phone to fastboot and type fastboot oem lock
Boot into download mode. Phone will prompt you to install. Press volup and wait.
Before u start backup ecerything
If you're already linking one of my files you could've linked my instructions, too, since what you wrote isn't completely correct. Re-locking the bootloader is unnecessary if you use the SD card method. In the worst case (e.g. if the RUU fails and OEM unlock isn't activated in the developer options) you could end up with a non-booting phone that can't be re-unlocked. The M9 has security checks that prevents it from booting if it isn't completely stock and the bootloader gets (re-)locked. And although I tested that RUU there can always be reasons why it fails to flash.
Could you be more specific please, I am new with htc and I dont know anything about it, What is fastboot? And if you have some time to tell me step buy step how to do that i would be greatiful. Sorry for bad english
Im sorry Flippy498 i just want to help him. You are a genious and i respect you. You are a life saver.

My bad. I didn't notice that my signature isn't visible in this thread.
Edit: I don't know why the link gets broken as soon as I save this post. You'll need to copy'n'paste the link.
THX a lot, now I'm gonna to try to restore stock rome!
@Flippy498 I have just one question, I followed your instructions and it worked perfectly but I still have Software Status marked as Modified. Would I be able to receive software updates ?
Yes, you will. And you'll be able to install them, as well. (Receiving updates is not the problem, it's being able to install them if the system has been modified. However, a RUU reverts every modification you made.)
It's just strange that the flag still says that your system is modified. Normally the SD card method should reset it to original. But that shouldn't be a problem. OTAs don't check that flag. They compare whether the checksum of the system is the same as the reference value. Since a RUU overwrites the current system with the stock one you won't face any problems here.
Thanks a lot dude for your great work and quick reply !
