You have to have the "Samsung App Store"...
Sent from my Beastly SGS2!
Yeap my phone didn't come with it.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Right. 9/10 when you read that Samsung is giving away something to "galaxy sii " they are talking about the i9100... or at least the versions with the exynos processor in them. You can get the Samsung app store online and install it but it will probably still tell you that your model isn't supported. I downloaded a bunch of stuff from my i9100 and put it on my t989 and it says my device isn't supported go and rebuy it... not everything, but some.

Yeah I found the stock Apk for the Samsung app store, installed on mine and it opens but just says no update.

I was thinking the same thing, WTF?!?! LOL!
Pardon me if I'm wrong, but the market is the market...there isn't different markets for each carrier. If you're looking for a particular app that's available for Sprint only...you'd have better luck looking for that app's apk. I don't think there's a way to make a T-Mobile phone show the Sprint market.
oops i ment samsung app store.

I'm not sure if that's one of those apps we're not supposed to ask for. Either way I've tried on the vibrant, gs4g, and II and at least for the US, it just always comes up blank with no apps.

Samsung app store isn't available in us I think?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Yeah it's not. You can find the apk online but it's useless for us
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Yeah. Just sticks on a screen that says no updates. Can't do anything else.

Does anybody have any idea when the Samsung apps like Samsung remote will be updated so they work on the GN ?
Thanks Ross
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Probably not until the next version of Samsung's TouchWiz comes out with ICS on their other devices. Otherwise they have no incentive to update them to work on ICS because they won't have any devices running it.
Samsung isn't in charge of the apps on this device.
If I managed to get the apk for the app do you think it would work ?

Sure you could try but theres no guarantee it works as it should.
But like I said above you're never going to get these apps officially supported on these devices. The software comes from Google, not Samsung (unlike a SGSII, for example, which gets TouchWiz).
You can download samsung remote free from market
Sent from my X10i using xda premium
You can't if you are running ics it does not appear. If someone has a link to the apk that would be brilliant

Most of those Samsung apps require touchwiz, thus will FC out of the box.
Sent from my Nexus S using xda premium
This app can't require touchwiz I used to have it on my Desire HD

Not all, I was referring to the replacement apps that come bundled with touchwiz and some of the additional apps included.

Lol works for me *hint* not out the market
http://gameloft.com. or http://wapshop.gameloft.com
Those are the offical links to markers of the game and you can buy and download it right from there even though its marked not compatible on the android market. You just need to turn off install from unknow source. Also this is a big file on both the market version and the website one. The download is only like 4 or 5 megs but but once you lanuch it , it will download a 800 meg file. So do it on WiFi not 4G and u will have to decide if u want it on your internal storage or an SD card if you have one.

I was able to download the free Avengers movie that T mobile gave away with the S3. Just for fun I went to the Samsung hub and sure enough it downloaded. It would only let me get the SD version though. I'm sure most people are tired of the movie, but the SD version looks great on the Note3.

I have talked and even called Samsung about this and the only one that can help you with it is T-Mobile so call them. I haven't figured it wasn't worth that extra time calling them either because at first I thought it was just something on Samsung their side... Torrent that movie...
