when I remove the battery cover from my Aria. I found out it looks much better.
really don't like the fat round battery cover. is there any 3rd part cover for Aria ?
with some sharp edge... like iphoen 4 =)
I just hope and wish for someone would make a clear back cover so you can see the insides. I would pay $20 for one . Would be coolest accessory for this phone.

i think it would be kind of impossible seeing as though the back cover contains the antenna for the device.
if it was clear, you'd see metal
There has to be someone that can figure it out lol I dream about this damn phone and can't put it down I need it. Oh well I just keep wishing

I agree. A clear back cover would be badass. Too bad my signal drops to no bars when I take off the cover. Shame no one ever gets to see the yellow interior.

I believe the antenna only is a little square on the bottom left, when you are looking at the inside. It feels stiffer in that area. If I'm right, a clear cover's antenna would only cover the SD card.

Can anyone suggest an arm band for the Epic Touch 4G? Unfortunately the extra size of the phone has made my current one unusable.

It doesn't bounce and you won't even know it's there after half a mile. I had mine for over a year and used it with an Evo 4g, nexus s, Photon, and an Epic 4g Touch. Ask for the bigger size model. You can fit extra batteries and keys in there too.
Is our phone the same dimensions of the infuse? I imagine since it's been out longer there may be some options and could fit our phones.

i tried the infuse 4G cases, they fit fine, not exactly the right size, but even the hard cases were big enough. the main issue is that the infuse is square at the corners. but any soft case or band or belt or fanny pack that fits the infuse should at least hold you over. i would say wait for an exact fit if you can, but the universalish armbands that fit the infuse will be 100% fine.
I've got this one that I used with my Evo, and it works pretty well with the E4GT:

I bought one for my Evo 3D from http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAP...53&ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:US:1123#ht_3027wt_926
You can't beat the price $4.17, it take a little longer to get to you but seriously for that price....

Do you think the fact that the Evo 3D is a little thicker mean the Epic 4G would move around inside the armband? I would want something to hold the phone tight. If so, then this seems good enough for me.

The Evo3D fit in there very tight, so I think it would be fine for our phone. I don't have it with me at the moment or I would try it out for you, but here's the link to the Galaxy S 2

FYI, if you're picking up a Tunebelt there are a couple different sizes, I believe the one mentioned in the thread previously is the AB85, I ended up picking up the slightly smaller size, AB84, and it fits the 4.5" GSII just fine.
Granted I'm using the T-Mo variant but I believe the AB84 should fit the Sprint variant just as well.
I am aiming for the EVO3D one from Ebay, but I wonder if the Epic Touch will fit in there without having to take off the TPU case.

The one I had for my OG Evo fits my E4GT, but I always remove the TPU case because the raised edge makes it harder for the plastic from the case to make contact with the screen.

mines has a bit of in and out "give" when i press on it. especially right underneath where the camera juts out.
i cant tell if thats the way its meant to be or not. i've not noticed it up until now, but it seems odd. its flush with the back of the device all over, except underneath the camera, where its kind of slack
anybody elses like this?
mine is. Its not a big deal. Thats the closest to a physical flaw and i dont even consider it that.

Yes, around where the camera is at on the left side! =)
Mine has it too
Not on mine...my cover is snug.
Slight creaky-ness to it around the edge, just below and to the right of the camera!
There are two types of back covers. One with the Google and Samsung words written Dully. One Bright. The bright one has none of that push in and out feel. The dully written one does. That's my experience with the backcovers....

I'm in the market to buy accessories for my i747.. I'm looking on ebay and see a dock / charger / battery combo at a decent price but it says it's for european and asian phones (i9300). would this fit my phone? to me everything should be the same..
Thanks
accessory wise the two variants are exactly the same dimensions and stuff, so anything made for the i9300 will fit the i747, including batteries. the phones are exactly the same on the outside, just the insides are diff. :good:
Yep. Chargers, batteries, docks and cases all fit the i747 that are made for i9300. They are the same form factor

Hello,
I unserstand both phones have the same external dimensions, but would it be the same for the battery cover ?
If I swap the pebble blue battery cover from a i9300 to a i747 would it fit ?
Thanks.
I would imagine yes as above he did say dimensions of phone is the same the only difference is the cpu and ram I believe.

In any case I am a reseller and am about to make a huge order of genuine s3 covers for north american sale,so I just wanted to make sure that would work.
Thanks for the help !
The international version has a microphone on the back cover by the camera. So cases and skins for the international version will fit but you'll have a useless hole by the camera. Not really a big deal if you ask me.

Yep a tiny mic pinhole is the only physical difference between some of the two base versions or models.
CPU (quad vs. dual core), ram (1Gb vs. 2Gb) and radios (3g/4g vs. LTE) are the internal hardware differences between the international and north American models

ok heres my skin. there is a hole on the back cover (above the led flash), but there is no hole on my battery cover for a mic or something. there is a mic on the top border of my phone next to the headphone jack, which has its own hole
again it was made for the international version

I have a question
Hi,
My question is, are the lcd and digatizer screens the same size on both i9300 and i747 ?
I need to replace 1 and want to make sure:
question
I am wanting to get a cord for my GS3 i747 that hooks the phone to hdmi port on television. I saw several options on ebay but some of them say that they are "ONLY" compatible with i900 and i908. Is that the case? Should the cable work with i747 if it works with unlocked phones?
Will a i9300 ROM work on a i747?
I don't understand why no one had made a waterproof case for this amazing phone yet. I love the water and I love water pictures. I also love the pictures I can take with this phone and the slow motion option. If I could combine them with a waterproof case I'd be ecstatic. Thoughts anyone?

i'd also love there to be a waterproof option for us. that's really the only downside to not buying the most popular device; lack of accessories.

There is a universal waterproof case for going to the beach or the pool that works pretty well but definitely not for everyday use.

Because our phones are porous. Speaker hole. Headphone jack. Charging port. And other gaps in the body.
A case would have to completely seal off the entire phone to work underwater. Like the previous poster said, the only option for that is a pouch, which is cumbersome, but the only option for underwater photos.
So what is the difference between our phone and say the gs3 or iPhone which are both again porous

Well for one, the rear housing is not sealed. There is very little adhesive keeping the housing stuck to the front. The phone is pretty much open. From right next to the display. I believe GS3 and iP both are very well sealed from the front. It's easier to seal off the back than the front.
Second, I don't think other phones have open speaker holes. This one may neither, but I think it has a greater chance for failure due to the greater number of holes.

Well for one, the rear housing is not sealed. There is very little adhesive keeping the housing stuck to the front. The phone is pretty much open - The S3 has a snap on cover on the rear, no rubber seal around it, so as waterproof as a paper bag
I believe GS3 and iP both are very well sealed from the front - Nope, they both have a hardware button that has no IP rated seal around them
I don't think other phones have open speaker holes - The S3 has a speaker grill on the rear, to the right of the camera

Sealing HTC One isn't harder nor easier than sealing any other cell phone from this planet (a phone that is not waterproof from factory).

I feel it's less about the design and more about which third party companies want to support and make accessories for the One. More or less you're asking for a LifeProof for our phone. And companies like LifeProof don't see the "high" demand and would rather make cases for iphones and galaxies because they're a larger market. If more people asked, I'm sure they would accommodate eventually. (Hopefully)
I did get a reply on lifeproof's Facebook page and they said that they do not have any plans for our phone but thank you for our interest. I'm going to bug them some more.
Apparently this one fits the S3 & S4, I wonder if the One will squeeze in there as well
That would be great if they came out with a water proof case. Hopefully they will come out with one soon.

This.
If you want real protection you should not expect to use the device. A touch screen device can't work reliably with a true solution that allows full submersion with pressure. If you want to take pix underwater they make underwater (capable) cameras or you can shell out the $$$ for a waterproof box for your SLR, etc.
