If your on sprint it would be the evo 3d. Its their newish flagship device. Took the place of this phone(p.s. this phone is close to a year and a half old.)

Couldn't tell you. I haven't kept up with HTC since getting my Nexus.
The EVO 4G was a great device. Since then I've had a Shift too and it was great as well.

ok great guys i have got DHD but i have changed gps.conf several times but doesnt work as well as it should to do. Some radio does that my gps dont take lot of satellite and other radios do that my batery drains completly... xD this is the reason cause im speakin about the best htc device, for test it.
I just paid my $120 ETF on Sprint and took advantage of the $0.01 deal on the HTC Rezound from Amazon. Looks like I'm finally off Sprint after 8 years or so.

even though I have the Evo 4g and use Sprint I recently spotted that new Rezound at Best Buy....looking at that I'd have to say, as far as NEWEST HTC DEVICE, the Rezound takes the cake.

I just came off the EVO, and went to the Rezound. I used to say there wasn't a device that would make me not miss my EVO. I lied. The Rezound is that device. It's ridiculous.
U guys must not have read any reviews of the resound but asking what the is the best phone is an objective question. There is no rite or wrong answer. Its personal preference. Something you have to figure out for yourself...

first off i have an evo shift 4g, running cm7.
i had a nexus s 4g for a week before i decided i didnt like it and went back to the evo shift.my main issue was non removable storage.
now my interest is in the sgs2.
ive never used the touch wiz ui. but i do prefer vanilla android.
id be buying the phone out of contract for 350 new.
whats the consensus should i buy it?
Not gonna find better on Sprint at this time...period.
Just moved on from the 3d and I couldn't be happier. Don't hesitate at all

But the fact that kmobs is selling his sensation all of a sudden and is part of cyanogen makes me think he might have a galaxy s 2 like ours. He's a t-mobile guy too and has a relationship with t-mobile I believe.

True, but if you already have the Sensation 4g why sell it for an Amaze? The Amaze to me isn't really enough of an improvemeny for me to take a leap if you already own a Sensation. I had a Sensation and was very much tired of the overheating issues, signal issues with both wifi/data and GPS that wasn't so accurate.

It's cheaper (even cheaper than my WFS!!) It's a hard decision to make. I really want ICS, but the LG Optimus Elite has NFC. Although, I won't be upgrading until about October anyway 'cause I'm gonna get a Nook Color soon.
Its a hard choice, I might save up some more cash and then buy the one V, Nook colors are sweet, I have one on ICS

Sweet! That's the reason I'm getting one. I hear it's easier to root than a lot of similar devices and ICS is really nice.
I think the V is more attractive in most ways, especially 4G (which I don't get where I live, but there are some cities fairly close with it) and ICS are pretty cool.
Yes your right, the nookcolor is very easy to root and install new roms (So easy a cave man can do it ) Ive had my nookcolor for about 4 months and i like it!

Yeah, I've heard rumors about the One V, but I don't know if it actually will happen. Especially after the EVO V 4G announcement.

I can't wait for the evo I'm happy we are getting 4g by next month when the phone comes out thank got my birth day is in June do I can get it plus its an evo 3d with ics so I'm super excited I just hope it will work with current evo 3d roms

Above all else, the screen. It's no One X screen, but light years beyond the WFS. It's beautiful.
ICS/Sense 4 is really slick. At this point I have no desire for CM9. It's that good.
At the moment I have 700mb free for apps. And I have several 10-50mb apps installed.
The GPS is unbelievable. It can find 8-9 satellites in my cement house where the WFS is blind.

That's my biggest hope. If the current ROMs don't work, it's not worth it. I fear that it will be a similar situation to the WFS though. The VM version will be slightly forgotten behind the Sprint version. While Sprint and VM are essentially the same, the leaked RUU has really boogered up some of the Sprint phones, which leads me to believe there is a big enough difference there, but maybe not.
Hopefully they'll all be shipped S-OFF, though!!
After this phone, I won't be continuing my service with VM. The reception and data speed already was ridiculous. But THEN we got the data cap. And THEN they decided if I wanted to upgrade my phone, I also had to forgo my 25$ a month bill.
So I get less for more? F**k virgin mobile. I have principles.

hopefully its not that hard to fix because this time its not a completely different phone (ours is smaller and has no Sim) and when I get the phone I'm gonna hang back a little and wait got other people to see what happens to their phones when they try new roms

No real point in upgrading to a sprint lte phone right now as there is no lte towers. You will be stuck with sprints slow 3g. Best to stick with the e4gt until the galaxy siii comes out.

You are right. However in my house I have no 4G except upstairs window. When home just keep wifi on and use my own internet. Even 3G and calls iffy in house. Without my Airwave my phone would be a brick most of time. Hope so called Network Vision improves coverage. I have no idea when lte is turned on if that will be any better than my current wimax 4g.

Have you played with both phones at the same time. Also are you bored with your phone? These are reasons to upgrade and of course do YOU think its worth it to you to upgrade. I have seen I love Gnex threads and I returned my Gnex threads, at the end of the day its really your preference. Go to Best Buy and check them all out... Jus' My Opinion

I made a thread about this the other day too because I have an upgrade so I went down to the sprint store and played with the Gnex and I dont know if there was something wrong with that one or what but it ran like ****! Force closes everywhere, could not get facial unlock to work. I just installed ICS Hydra rom on my E4GT and it runs SOOO much better than the Gnex. I also talked to a sprint employee and they said the E4GT is far superior. I wouldn't do it!

Ok its better than nexus.
Flashing is as easy as it can be if you follow word to word instructions and make sure you are on a safe kernel.
I would not trade my e4gt for any older phone. So.. I would get it. Its your decision in the end.

The epic touch is a damn good phone. I never had the Nexus S so I can't compare it but I will say I'm very happy with it. Its easy to flash and work with and gets decent battery life.

It's a better phone than the s but it's a hard time to recommend buying another phone. I don't think it's enough of an upgrade that I wouldn't wait a few months to see what's dropping for the holidays. What specifically aren't you happy about on the s?

I have issues with my phone running out of ram I use my GPS for work and if I get a call its causes the GPS to hang for up to 30 seconds and when you drive in Boston that can't happen. Also the radios in the s well suck.

I recommend the Epic 4G Touch. It's not 720p like some newer phones but the SAMOLED+ is amazing.
It's super snappy, plenty of RAM, enough built in memory, awesome camera.
IMO it is the iPhone killer.

Epic 4g Touch is a great phone. My only gripes are that resolution could be a little larger for how big the screen is and the radio could be a little stronger (but part of that's sprints issues). I guess no lte either but that won't be available for a while anyways. But other than that its an awesome, correct me if I am wrong but I think it was the best phone on the market for a while. It may not be as fast as the latest and greatest phones but its good enough for me.
