The question isn't why, it's when and the answer is soon.
Just installed it, looks good.
One new thing noticed - during boot (Dansta Sensation v2.4 rom MAG) phone screen goes to sleep while still in the boot animation.
What happens if I don't wake it up? Will it continue to boot with screen Off?

Yeah. it's just going into sleep, it'll wake up before it fully boots. next boot should be fine
i just flahed v3 kernel no sign of connection with the computer ,nothing, flashed herios kernel 1.85 still same no conection to computer, the led is on i suppose its charging but the option to select drive or charge does not come up

It does it on every boot. I've done three or four so far, unless you call the "next boot" after it wakes up.

EU users need 160MB or more & 5MB cache CWR system partition and ext2/3/4 partition on sdcard;

Well I needed a new digitizer, screen, buttons, and button strip. I got the screen and the digitizer, just waiting on the rest. So as of now, my phone boots and everything, the touchscreen just doesnt work.

To be honest, I loved the HD2 so much, but when it broke, I had no choice but to go to the Inspire 4G. I was and still am determined to fix my HD2 and continue development for it, the Inspire 4G, and the Desire HD. You users have been good to me. I put my cpu at 1209MKz at performance mod. To show you performance is working
Can other camera apks be installed after boot and potentially work? I have backups of the CM7 camera, and miui camera that could both be installed.

The new European base was on FOTA today, I haven't had the chance to field test it. I don't want to release a dodgy ROM for you guys It's all about quality.
I was using villain rom on my htc hero 2 years ago and I was really happy with it. Nice to see it on my new phone!

Nice to see VR here first rom I used on the SGS2 was a cracking rom. No doubt this will be just as good
Do we need to flash the boot.img via fastboot for this too? Just double checking as you haven't mentioned it in the 1st post.

Yes you have to do this with every ROM until we have S-OFF
It's why I didn't put a boot.img in.

True we all are waiting for the new Kernal!
However, "Waiting" is the best remedy for us who cannot do anything except testing. So, better for us not to keep pushing the Devs and only test their hard work and parse them. They are the one who kept our HD2 Alive for more than 3 years now. I'm sure they will come up with a solution for this as well, may be a little longer, but, will worth it. :good:

instal Nand on TmoUS
- insert my simcard pin is okay
- search my coutry automatik is okay
- WIFI search not work (leap over)
- google account sign not work for me (must reboot and leap over)
- camera not work
- camcorder not work
- 720p not work
- no enable softkeys
- the first boot have problem with load the first screen. must wait.....
- swap works good
- sound is good
- the rom is fast
- the rom is multilingual
- with second reboot instal super clean script from zepelinox

Installed it just now.. If I want to use XM kernel 188v4, should I repack? It runs without repacking, but I mean, do I lose any functionality if i do not repack (battery optimizations and stuff)?

I haven't done any RAMDisk optimization. I'm using Shiz's RAMDisk. So it's recommended to repack. Most the optimization is system level.

Im using this ROM desensed with So.Ho Launcher for now, on XM kernel 188v4 (not repacked). Seems to work fine! Will let you know in a couple of days how the battery is treating me
