I was just wondering if anyone know if you can name folders after you created them?
Thanks

you can name them when you create them and after. Go into the folder and hold the top of the bar.

Sorry for the noob question. I was wondering, if I rename my nandroid backups, will I still be able to restore them? When I had my Photon, I would get all the way to the end of restoring a Nandroid backup and it would fail. It did it for all my renamed backups. Just was wondering if it's the same for the GS3?

Don't leave any spaces in the file name and you should be fine.

Should be AFAIK, linux just tends to stumble on spaces in file names if you don't escape them. I always follow the name scheme of ROMX.DATE so for cm10 I have CM10.8.31.2012, hope that helps.

I'll typically just put the APK on my SD card... (Go to setttings turn on unknown sources) Then just click APK, and will give option to install it. (i do this with a few that i have stored.
Use root explorer to copy/ paste the apk into system/app...You will have to make the folder r/w using root explorer before you paste the app. Reboot...typically this works as long as the app is compatible with the phone.

Being last, I steal all the above thanks, =P
Though i prefer using es file explorer [free] > navigate to your storage [internal/external], then locate the apk > tap > install.
Just make sure 'unknown sources' in security is checked.
I posted these here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2095053 figured I'd post a link here for you guys that don't get over to the note 2 forums

Do In just flash it?

Maybe you can, but I would just extract them.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
No its not flashable jist extract the main folder amd theres 8 more folders inside with the wallpapers and 1 with launcher docks. I could make it flashable but I doubt many people would want 176mb of wall papers in their rom instead of on sd so they stay put across rom changes

If your launcher supports it it would be in launchers settings, or u can use something like wallpaper maker and add them to the bottom of a wallpaper and they will show as part of the background. I used them with go launcher and some I used woth widgetsoid as the widget backgrounds

So what are you trying to do? You can use the apktool to decompile it. then edit any xml to your liking?
More than that, unless you know more about building?

I want to make the way left top corner the pulldown bar and the way its pulled down is like going that way and some select notifications icons + no notification text thats all ill do the rest and can you make the systemuu compatible 4 the 1 post I posted about any status bar background on any systemui ty
So...you're trying to do a paper peel down kind of effect for the notification bar? If so you can't really just Program that. You'd need to edit the framework as well. Over all its just not feasible.

Ya and the same stat bar background and toggles
I was planning on modifying the systempui.apk file as well. Forsure the app DPI and the color scheme.

Untrue..anything is feasible given time, and ability. I could code my phone to fart every time I pushed the volume lower button if I put the effort into it.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
But the amount of time it would take proportional to the gain makes it non feasible, mainly cause no one would do it its Not the actual content. My phone farts whenever I use NFC. Come at me. (Just kidding. But now greatly considering it)
