I'm just woundering how many females use xda never seen this asked bfore.

My GF has a rooted EVO, but I did it for her
She runs SPB Shell 3D as her launcher, and thinks its the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I guess they are focusing all their time on figuring out ways of taking things away from their best customers, and can't be wasting time on things like BUILDING their customer base...

It seems like sprint isn't doing commercial for it. Samsung is the one thats pushing commercials out for all 3 variants for usa networks.
They started pushing commercials out a few weeks back, but you really have to focus on the commercial in order to actually see that sprint carries the phone cause they mix all 3 phones together as if they are exactly the same.

I see atleast one everyday...

Saw one here in New Orleans twice in the past hour....the Unlimited Data plan commercial...and at the end the Epic 4G Touch is featured.

I see the commercial saying that AT&T and Verizon have limits on data and T-Mobile will slow down your data if you go over 2gb but Sprint is the only one with unlimited data. Then it talks about the new galaxy SII.

then i guess i'm on the lucky side.
as everyone that has asked me they automatically recognizes it's a SGS2
they all say "wow! is that the S2?" or "How's reception on it?" or "which network are you using it on?"

Yeah, I had a couple of my friends with iPhones tell me the screen was really nice and clear. Its such a nice sized phone for me too.

I think the majority of their games are better than ours. Android has come a long way but still has a long way to go too.

I was walking by a group of people in line for the iPhone4s and I hear some guys say "What is that?" one asked "hey bro can we see your phone?" They liked the huge screen, I told them about the 4g speeds, and they all go "ohh that's a Samsung." I then say "Yeah its a Galaxy S II, this phone is AMAZING." and proceed to get into a cab. I liked the first one better lol. I like the advertisements they're shockingly accurate as to what apple launch day is.
Apple gave their competition a golden opportunity. If I had an iPhone 4 I would not walk out of a store using an upgrade on a phone that looks identical and basically is identical (OK don't flame but an upgraded camera and CPU/gpu isn't worth an upgrade)

The first round of commercials were better, it actually showed some of features of the phone. Still I like the fact that they are firing back at apple...the right and respectable way...not with frivolous lawsuits but through competition.

My girlfriend just upgraded to the 4s from the 4 despite my best efforts. I had her convinced to at least try the at&t gs2 and see if she would like it. But then the salesman said, "I have the gs2 and if you already have an iPhone you'll want to stay with iPhone.."
And she did. Stupid salesman. I was di close to converting someone and I was helpless to intervene because I was at work. Blast.

One of the metrics we are scored on is return rate. I've yet to return an iPhone for anything but a more expensive iPhone. I have definitely returned android devices (including the epic touch) for iPhones. I will give someone a fair discussion on whether they are really getting the right phone without resorting to android snobbery, but I ultimately have to look out for me and not get things returned.

Unless I get an Apple diehard with nothing but Apple products I can usually flop them to Android. More specifically the Epic Touch. Larger screen, expandable memory and showing them mine running all the rooted goodies. Plus, a lot of people don't like that you have to use iTunes.

My girlfriend wants an IPad now but I have nothing else I can convince her of :-( I said the TF prime before it came out but blech. I'm on the lookout for a nice ICS tablet myself, there's not really any android tablets I like except older ones.

The rumors of the prime being crap are greatly exaggerated. I know 2 people that have one and have had no problems. It's a very vocal minority that have issues if you read the forums closely.

So, I don't know if anyone has read the new claims that crapple seems to be bringing to court but here is a link to the post.

Although here is some what of a break down of the contents.
It seems as though Apple has gone some crazy insane on crack or something because now they want to add 17 devices because they're all compatible with a stylus in some way. Now how the hell is that possible? None of Apple's products use a stylus, that I'm aware of anyway. At least they don't ship with one. Also, they are going after the GNex now, because hmmmm....It's running Jelly Bean?! That doesn't make any damn sense what so ever. So I though I would just bring this up for some discussion because I don' have the slightest idea how they can do this?

I always read about apple trying find something ***** about android / Samsung software and products. It seems like they just want own the market, but that just it not everyone cares for them. I see how their product is their own. But lot of it seems picky

My mom for some reason got an iPhone 5, I told here it was a piece of worthless crap, and she didn't listen. Needless to say 2 weeks later she is taking it back I convinced her to get a Note 2!
But along the lines of the whole patent thing, they say there going after the GNex because it has Jelly Bean, BUT all other JB devices are fine!? Makes NO damn sense!

My wife just got an iphone 4s the other day, even she was amazed by how little control you have.
I've messed with them before and they are nice products, but you can't even remove apps from the home screens. I was so confused by this. She doesn't need a stock app. How do you get rid of the icon? You don't.

I have a small feeling they are attacking the GNex because it is ALWAYS updated. Google keeps the GNex on top of it. Apple probably views it as a threat because while we are here using the GNex for quite awhile (since we don't get bored with it), Apple has to release an entire new product to keep the users entertained.

true man... im glad google has stepped up to man...use to have an ipad and iphone but its north worth it to me for the price....
now i have a nexus 7 and hope to get a nexus 4 soon.... which will cost me as much as an ipad alone so i am happy.

They really should be unallowed to file stupid claims with almost zero basis just on poor sportsmanship alone. They're butt hurt from Android gaining the majority marketshare
