Just picked up the Tough Case by Case Mate and I'm loving it. It just feels right. Anyone having a similar experience or do you hate it and why?

Case Protector

Hey I love the way my case looks for my Captivate, I got it from Amzer. But its getting many scratches on it. Anyone know where I can get something to protect it. A case protector perhaps.

You want a case for your case? Get a better case.
Its just a joke. I just find it funny that people buy cases to keep their phone looking good and then their cases look awful.

[VIDEO]ET4G White Casemate with kickstand review

Hey everyone picked this case up at Sprint store today for my ET4G and made a video with the good old Nexus S 4g. Here it is.

I really like that! Nice case! Wonder of they have it online yet.
Sweet im getting one tomorrow.
its a pop case i love them not as much protection as the tough cases but nice non of my store have them and there not on the site
My store just got them we only ordered 2 we didnt know what they looked like but it is nice the kickstand is a little flimsy but all in all best I have seen there are not many out yet.

well i thank you for posting atleast we know they are coming now i want protection for my 600 phone lol im sure they will come out with a case mate tough since there is a pop case i work ut and run with my phone so the protection is needed
That looks pretty bulky.. how does it feel in your hand
?
Tapatalkin' it from my Epic Touch 3g
I can't say say from this phone but the pop cases don't add much its like a speck candy shell but thinner to me its thinner then some of the thicker silicone and tpu cases but then again I like the casemate touch cases so thickness is nothing to me
It feels nice the grip is nice to have on the sides and the lip on the front is nice incase you want to lay it on its face it will not scratch the screen.

Supposedly casemate will be making the tough case, barely there case, and obviously pop case for e4gt. I emailed then specifically to ask..they said about two weeks into october, and a few places online have preorder dates saying the 12th

Every white case I ever bought turned colors the more I use it...have you noticed this yet at all...I'm going to have to check back in a few weeks with you to see.
I had a Case-Mate Pop case for my Nexus S 4G, and while it looks really nice, I would still prefer a case that can be removed more easily.
It was a pain to take off the case and then put the phone back into it. Since I have a spare battery for the GS II, I can see this being a problem. At least for me.
But it is a good case =\
Kick stand is nice, but the kick stand on this one looks cheap and to me it looks like it would break easy. What are your thoughts on this OP?
the lady in sprint had ZERO idea when i asled her about the casemate products lol

Ok guys update so far so good took it camping fri and sat used it all weekend.....no visible discoloration on white shell....the kickstand to me is flimsy a bit does what it is supposed to do...I think the it will last just as long as you don't put pressure on top of the case itself.
When I work on tuesday I will post the sku

Extremely protective case?

Just ordered my sgs3 a few days ago, I'm looking for case that can potentially take a beating, I work in a warehouse and I don't want to hurt my new phone I looked at a body glove at the tmo store but it didn't seem as strong as the body glove I have on my sensation, thanks I appreciate it

I have the otterbox defender and it is very solid. Feels like it should take any normal abuse.
otterbox defender, trident kraken, seidio active. Those would be my choices.
Sent from Pluto.
Seidio Convert seems to be the ultimate in S3 protection.

I also work in a warehouse and I'm using the trident ageis its pretty good but I'm thinking about upgrading to the ballistic Sg maxx that case looks like it can take a hell of a drop. I'm sometimes up to 30 feet high and if I drop my phone e I do t think my trident case could handle the fall. I think the sg maxx would be our best bet for surviving that kind of fall.

just got the Otterbox Commuter from Amazon. very nice case, fits perfect and feels very secure. i wouldn't worry about a drop in this case.
I work construction so yea I was worried my self lol, so I got me a otterbox defender series from a at&T store, dude hooked me up with a 25 percent off because I had a coupon for tmobile that was 30 percent off, so he did almost like a price match for me , not bad at all , plus the buttons on this case are not hard to press.

Hey, I am trying to get support to get Griffin technology to produce a survivor case for the galaxy s3. If you look in my thread you can see that it would be a cool option for us if we manage to convince them to make one , http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1823703
The otterbox defender is what I would use if you want maximum protection.

I would like your opinion about this case.

Lately i have seen a lot of posts about broken gs3 screens, and i'm really afraid that something like that could happen to my beloved gs3.
At this moment i am using a regular silicon case, which i don't believe gives me enough protection.
So i have been researching the best case to protect my phone without adding much bulkiness.
I found this option on amazon and it seems quite interesting....and good looking.
http://www.amazon.com/Urban-Armor-G...TF8&colid=1DR9PV9J5Z87D&coliid=I3VQFO7QIOFFZM
A little expensive but if protects my gs3 i won't care
So...what do think about it guys ?

It looks abit bulky but should do the job.
But maybe take a look on ebay for it. Maybe find it a little bit cheaper
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Looks too One X or death star to me. It totally ruins the elegant look the GS3 goes for.
If I and to get a bulky case, I would go for Capdase armor jacket. Although I am not sure if the Aluminum kills reception or not.
Nahh...i've droped mine a couple of times with and without a tpu case and not a single scratch mate....
I also saw some drop/durability tests and i've seen the S3 is strong!
Maybe the first units had durability issues...?
Anyway i would spend money if i were you...
But if you want to stay free of guilts not buing a decent case undoubtly get an otterbox!
they're simply the best! You wont regret it....
Seems like good protection, but I like more the looks of the Otterbox Commuter for a "bulky case" (And I've heard is one of the betters in matters of protection). I'm supposed to get an Incipio Silicrylic any time this week, I decided to go for it because I thought a Commuter was overkill for my daily use and the Incipio seems to be stylish. I hope I don't regret that choice
Also, I think this should be in the Accessories section?
Well for what i have seen it the thinnest of the bulky cases. That is why i've got so interested. Also it looks pretty bad ass.
But i will check all your suggestions too.
I am still searching for a case to my new toy..the N7.

Just got mine from US to UK, took less than a week to arrive
After 2 official samsung flip cases fell apart (1 in first 10 days) I saw this and liked the look of it.
It's obviously more bulky than before but not enough to bother me. It's fairly lightweight too. Having side protection as well as the cool looking back won me over.
It Cost me £28 including delivery. Having spent over £16 (£30rrp) before on the samsung cases I can tell you the quality is far superior.
You get a screen protector included too (after a lot of time and swearing trying to fit the bast**do with no dust trapped) looks pretty good.

My White UAG case just came in the mail today, so far i love it. Has a nice feel to it, not bulky at all and feels like a sturdy case. For $20 i wasnt gonna pass it up black/white combo looks nice on the white S3 :good:
I use the otterbox defender, does what it says on the tin.
But it hides my beautiful phone.

Case-Mate Phantom?

One of the cases that seem to be overlooked on this forum is the Case-Mate Phantom (seen here: http://www.case-mate.com/Samsung-Galaxy-S-III-Cases/Case-Mate-Samsung-Galaxy-S3-Phantom-Cases.asp). I am planning on switching to it from my Otterbox Defender since it has gone way down in quality. What are your experiences with the Case-Mate Phantom?
Looks good but I hate built in screen protectors!

I don't mind it as long as dirt doesn't get stuck under it. I never had that issue with the OBD on my Atrix 4G but I constantly have to clean it on the SGS III.

Its not too bad. It makes it a little wide but it remains slim. I did remove the built in protector because I like my curved crystal. To each there own I guess.
Looks pretty good imo..
I have it and its pretty nice. Makes it wide but slim compared to the defender. Feels great while typing due to the extra width. But im using the Casemate Tough for the time being, its smaller and lighter but withstood a nasty fall onto concrete
