I'm using tn 3.3 shooter ROM and am trying to install apps2sd
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Is your sd card partitioned ?and its built in that Rom so when you flashed the Rom it should have rebooted 3 times off the start if you were partitioned
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Yes I am and it did that so is there anything else I need to make sure everything is headed to SD

Download titanium backup to see how much space you have left in your ext3 partition also you use terminal emulator to have it move everything in internal to ext3. In terminal type su(enter) ad2sd reinstall (enter) and phone will reboot and move everything to ext3

Okay I'm im getting SD card not mounted even though it is any ideas and this is after i type apps2sd reinstall
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
If you have root explorer and you go to system>sd >app and see what apps are there or you can just check in titanium to see if you install a app if your a2sd memory goes down
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Okay there are no apps so what should I do should i re partition my SD card or do I need to get a new SD card

I flashed the zip and it works great, however I'm not seeing the internal memory now, according to the dev in the original thread you should see the internal as sdcard-ext, but i can't seen to locate it.
Great to see this, I made a thread also hoping this could be made possible in q/a forum. Now to see if link2sd will work for me.

Hi this is a great mod, however this mod made me lose 16 GB of storage space and I now cannot find my files stored on my internal sd card. Somebody please help me.

I dont get it i see all my files...should just restore your backup if having problems?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Okay to revert back to the original settings all you have to do is reflash your original ROM.
This mod is very useful but, I need to be able to access my internal SD card.

Thanks for this find i think this will help some people with trying to sync music playlists from PC to external. Hopefully someone in our community smarter than myself can get it to work with internal as well. Great start for now though.

Hey everyone! Just got a new 32gb micro sd card and I was trying to get this working on my phone. Flashing the zip works without a hitch, but obviously I lose access to my internal memory. That's not cool with me so I tried flashing the removal zip but it aborts for some reason. I tried with signature verification on and off but I get the same result. If anyone has made further headway into this mod, I would love to hear about it.

does anyone have a working link?
Relatively new Android user, running stock EL29 Gingerbread rooted with ClockworkMod on a Samsung Epic 4G Touch (Sprint). I have had major problems with my phone continually rebooting which I'm pretty sure I've confirmed is due to having too many apps moved to the external SD card with the stock App2SD command.
I've read that the only workaround for this is to use Link2SD with a second external SD card partition. I have been trying for many hours to get this working, but Link2SD will never recognize my second partition. I've tried many different options with formatting the external SD card, but nothing ever works.
I've found some posts on this site by d12unk13astard that I read to indicate that Link2SD won't work on the Epic 4G Touch because of the way the internal memory is formatted on this phone. Can anyone confirm that Link2SD can or cannot be used on the Epic 4G Touch? If it can, any idea how I can get it to recognize my 2nd partition? Any help is VERY MUCH appreciated!
I talked to the guy who made link2sd and gave him a logcat of a command he wanted me to type in terminal, still waiting on a confirmation or solution to this problem as well. I would suggest you also ask about this in the Android section of xda under apps/games. Hopefully an update to link2sd will fix our issue were having.

This^^
Heres a couple pics proving why this app has not been working for our phones(epic 4g touch)
As I thought, link2sd can only see our internal memory card that Samsung has put in our phones mounted as /sdcard. Instead of our external sdcard which has the 2nd partition needed for link2sd to work.
Since the internal memory being mounted as /sdcard cant be partitioned link2sd fails to work. As you can see it fails to see my external 32GB class 10 sdcard on link2sd app.

Hey guys,
I've rooted and everything, running cm9, and keep getting the "insufficient storage" error when trying to install or update apps.
I think its because im using a small partition i made while setting up my defy to dual boot.
How can i remove this dual boot and make sure im booting as usual? With all my internal memory available for use..
Attaching a screenshot. Is it normal to have so little space under "system rom"?

I've read that tombstones folder is simply a folder where crashes get logged, isn't it?
Can you tell me is this normal that Titanium backup tells me my "System ROM" is 340MB only?

You'll need to reformat the card to Fat32. This of course will wipe it clean, so id take it out of the phone and plug into the computer, and back up any important data. Then format to FAT32. You can format on the phone, so it may be best to do it that way.
What size is the card?

Isn't it the internal sd storage?
I have a 32gig external sd
Ooops.....my bad!
disregard previous posts. Sorry bout that!
Try deleting the .android_secure folder as is mentioned here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908178
If that doesnt work, I would suggest trying TWRP instead of CWM.

Update:
Well, I went into recovery, made a backup to my sd card.
Wiped everything on my internal sd. Everything that I could.
Then, restored the backup.
I still have my apps and text messages, but lost all my pics (which I backed up and deleted but still showed up)(upon typing this, I think that may be a clue to the problem), but now I have over 10gigs of free space so I'm happy again!

So how do you find and delete these folders? I just did a back up and deleted/formated everything that I could in recovery(without my SD card in) hoping I wasn't going to delete my cwm recovery, but it didn't work? I'm sitting at exactly 12.05 gigs of internal storage just like the OP.

It wasn't the 'total' I was concerned with.....It was the 'available'.
I know on TW the total is like 12.95, but, I'm not worried about <1 gig,
I moved my backup to external sd card, then removed card from phone to guarantee I didn't delete it!
Good Luck!
