[Proble]Keyboard popup problem

Hi everyone! I'm kinda new here, so i apologise if i've wrongly opened this tread. I have a problem with my gio. Under unknown circumstances the keyboard along with google search opens. I know this can be done with long pressing the menu/options-button but in my case it starts even i'm not touching it. It's very annoying, obviously. First i tought it's a software problem, but on Cyanogen Mod it didn't happened (there were other problems). Now i'm running Gingerbread 2.3.6. Inspite the problem with the popup everything runs just fine and fast!
Please, if you have any idea how can i solve my problem, let me know!

same problem....using ROM BNC latest....i dnt noo why?? i think its a hardwaer problem??any1?

It's not only yours problem. It happens on every rom. Keyboard just pup-up. Probably you use only 2G, don't you?

yes....not only keyboard sometime popup the functions menu of any app etc like when i am in go sms writing new msg its happens again n again...shows menu options....

You just slide over the menu button with your finger when this happens, works every time

well, thank you guys for replies. I think i just have to get used to this hoping it's a software problem which will get it's fix!

It's that the gio sometimes think the menu button is pressed when it isn't, and holding menu button brings up keyboard. So the solution is to slide your finger on the menu button until it stops. Its a hardware problem

search BLN in gooogle play and activate it needs root...i m using ROM BNC R2 with cm7 feathures which Have BLN by default just want to activate......no popups now

Ok. I can't make it work. It says something like Bln Mod not activated and directs me to a internet page wich is not working. I tried with the free and also with the pro version!

Keyboard problem

im on stock and recently i cant text.. the keyboard locks up and i cant even use the back button to get back to my main list of contacts to text. ive tried to dl other keyboards wiht the same result. just want to know if anyone had experienced this. i can just reformat but really don't want to if i dont have to. thanks

Read the op clearly on the first line states hes running stock.

setting - appl manager - all - samsung keyboard - clear data
if not works
setting - appl manager - all - settings - clear data
If still not works then i think hard reset is good choice.

[Mod][Fix]Lockscreen fix when accessibility option is enabled

Hi guys! Again here's another mod from me. This mod should fix the lockscreen issue when any apps requiring accessibility is enabled.
Just push the apk in

/system/app/
replacing the original one with this mod.
Sorry guys was not able to make a flashable zip my phone is the only device I have right now to access the internet(no computer) so would really appreciate it if someone can make a flashable zip for me

May I ask what were the issues with the apps using open accessibility? I use Knock2+
and if I need the fix, which out of the two attachment do I need? Do I need to flash both of them? or just the second one as the file name suggested its purposes?

Just come across this thread from a post on the trickdroid forums...
This is great....just installed the zip on my HTC One and its seems to be working perfect at the moment....if theres any issues I'll post up after a days use...

For instance, I have a pebble watch that requires the pebble app. The pebble app requires that you start the service for pebble in the accessibility settings. So an option at the top under services you have to turn on. As soon as you turn on one of the services there - as far as I know any service not just pebble - it will make the lockscreen broken. So from that point on just touching the lockscreen anywhere will unlock the device. You don't have to swipe up the lock or clock anymore. And you can't pull any of the app icons up to load into those. It just unlocks the device as soon as you touch the screen. The big problem with this is if the phone is ringing in your pocket. As you pull it out of your pocket and it rubs against your leg/pants, it will unlock/answer the call. Now occasionally I don't want to answer the phone. Its been a big problem.

wow is was wondering about this today i noticed that i no longer have to drag the icon up to unlock it. thanks for clearing this up.

I flashed the zip in the download link and now my phone won't go past the "starting apps" screen after boot and before lockscreen shows.
I even reflashed the rom (dirty) and it won't work. Can you make a flashable file which puts the original files back so I can adb push it on my One.
I am on Trickdroid 5.5.1. by the way.
Please Help.

I can't reproduce your problem so please try wiping dalvik cache or deleting the folder /data/data/com.htc.idlescreen.base/
And if it still persists try doing a factory reset instead.
Doing a dirty install of the Trickdroid ROM should have restored the original lockscreen app so I'm pretty sure it's something to do with your dalvik-cache.
Just try wiping dalvik-cache for now it shouldn't delete anything so it's safe.

So I guess the fix can only be used if you're rooted and that sucks cause I am not

Yes no other way at all sorry Better issue this bug to HTC then and wait for an update with a fix.

Is there a specific place to report these bugs? I mentioned this issue to them on the technical support form, but I'm not sure if it's the right place.

I was wondering if this mod would negate the option to disable exchange server security? I've flashed trickdroid and applied this mod, but now my exchange server is requiring a password/pin on unlock. I'd like to be able to disable this when I'm home in tasker and I have that setup, but now it doesn't work. I think it was this mod that removed that feature from TrickDroid. Do you know the answer?

@Riyal since installing this fix I have a problem with the proximity sensor while on a call. Sometimes the screen goes black as soon as the call connects and the screen doesn't come back on. Sometimes the screen doesn't turn off when I hold the phone to my face and sometimes it does turn off but won't turn on again.
Is this problem related to this fix? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi! I'm not sure about the exchange server mod as I am not using it. I'll take a look at the mod soon and see what was modified on it and see if it conflicts with my mod.
And by the way could you give me a tutorial/guide on how and where to get an exchange account to test? Pardon but I don't really use that feature at all.
Anyways I am using exchange activesync on my phone right now but only using live.com account. And I'm not sure if having a private exchange server is needed.

Hi! Proximity sensor works perfectly well with my mod here. I have already called a number of times with the mod installed and I am also using tasker and I can't reproduce the problem

Xperia S JB (.197,.200 )2G network problem

Ok, here's my problem , i recently upgraded to Jellybean pre rooted .200 version , my bootloader is unlocked, anyway, since i got an upgrade to jb , i am from india , and, it may be due to the new baseband version, my friends cant call me or reach me(GSM only), how should i put this, even when there's full signal level on my phone, my friends cant seem to reach me, and there was no such problem in ics .55 , anyway, this not only happens to calls, also to text messages as well, the message only reaches my phone after several minutes ,after the message has been sent from another phone,but sometimes its normal and heres the interesting thing,if i switch it to 3g signal(WCDMA only) i get it like normally, and because in my home there is little to no 3g signal at all ,i could only use GSM network, so i miss calls from my friends like 5 times a day , they shout at me, "i called you, its unreachable everytime" ,and so forth and so so, so, if theres any way i can solve this problem, like changing baseband (.55 one) if its possible? or any help would be deeply appreciated,

We are in the same boat, Sony has messed up 2g gprs edge in this 200, 197 release. Maybe we need to wait for India baseband. For now went back to stable gingerbread ftf

i have no data connectivity issues, just the network problem, i have 3g and 2g working, but the problem is...well, the one i said before...well thanks for the reply dude !!

Try setting Google APN in Rom Toolbox and tick Override on mobile. Does the job for me

In order to do this you need to be rooted. Then open any root explorer, best would be Rom Toolbox with build.prop editor (Performance->build.prop editor). There you add these values: net.ppp0.dns1=8.8.8.8 and net.ppp0.dns2=8.8.8.4 on the bottom of the opened file or in editor tap "+" and add them via shell.

I tried but didnt worked On My Xperia s indian version!!
May be i didnt override mobile settings...how to do it??

There's no need. For some ppl it works for some unfortunately not. It needs to be deeper, coz it can establish connection. Now I don't know what is that but I'll keep looking.
PS. You can try to add same DNS on, these are net.rmnet.dns1=8.8.8.8 net.rmnet.dns2=8.8.4.4 And I have given you wrong DNS :/ All four lines should look like:
net.rmnet0.dns1=8.8.8.8
net.rmnet0.dns2=8.8.4.4
net.ppp0.dns1=8.8.8.8
net.ppp0.dns2=8.8.4.4
Check if it works But if it works, don't be so happy yet, test it for some hours before being sure - for me sometimes stops working :crying:

no,but atleast someone tried to help...and for that, i gave them thanks.. anyway, i dont have any data connectivity problems, 2g data works fine, its the network thats the problem, if i go out of signal range, then it takes a lot of time to get that 2g signal, so have to go manually search for networks everytime, even then, i always miss calls and messages !! i hope the new .211 firmware solves it !!

It didn;t work for me. I installes ROM Editor, set these values to prop file, but same issue persists.

I tried all the stuff mentioned in this thread & other threads, too. Nothing worked. It happened after installing ICS in my phone. Now I installed GB in my phone hoping it'l resolve my issue. But even after installing previous version, same issue persists. Same is the issue if I install JB in my phone. No network in my phone. It is detecting SIM as it asks for SIM Lock password while starting a phone. WiFi is working fine. But 2g/3G doen't work at all. It shows cross sign on network bars with no signals. Please let me know what may be the issue so that I can try smthng new.

max 3 push notification problems with alot of users-any help

dear all
i have noticed a lot of customers having problem with max 3 push notification with no actions.
i know here in Egypt 5 bought it and have same and nearly everyday you can find more max3 used for sell after only few weeks of buying.
if anyone can assist in solving or to contact ..
i have tried everything available online
installing global beta and stable
disabling battery optimize
allow all permissions to apk like whatsapp/viber /mymail
Auto start
lock apks
nothing worked
if any can help.

Did you enable notifications and badges? You can set the priority there. Just click on the app settings and select notifications. I have no issues.

yes i did all of that still sometimes i get sound and sometimes not..
i checked every single item and enabled anything related to notifications
even network signal is full and whenever i try to call or i get call it gives out of coverage
i m sure its software bug ...
i even changed region to so many but nothing
i wiped data after each install of rom
the only doubt i have is
in app settings in installed app
there is system notifications
no sound
and i press it i found all notifications are on

That's the problem with Chinese ROMs
I have a global version and np problems whatsoever.
Had the same problem with the Huawei honor note 8 Chinese.
Partial fix was to add widgets for all the apps that you can on the home page, or open each one up and keep them running in the background without closing them.

Thanks ..that already what i m doing now so i get the notification sometimes by sound or only by wake up the screen.
if i cancel wake up screen for notification.. i cant know unless when i unlock the screen...
that is only in whatsapp viber and email apk ( tried three )...
hope an update fixes this...

I would just install Xiaomi.eu rom. No one I know on xiaomi.eu roms are having your sound problems.

1_ does it support arabic language not the interface as i use english but i mean in writing .
2- from where to download
3- can i flash like the official one by putting the rom on internal folder and use the update.

Is your bootloader unlocked? You will need to unlock it since it's a custom rom.

Same problem here with GMAIL only, I was receiving delayed notification(1 or 2 hours). Changed with k9, now works fine. I'm on MIUI 10 Global (no root, no bootloader a virgin one
From time to time, I receive a whatsapp message which wakes up the screen, but without any sound (very strange).
I'm quite unhappy with the notifications system

Yes thats what i have notifications come with no sound and only wake up screen light then second one with sound but i installed the global beta and its better than global stable so far with last update.

Basically what I had to do was manually turn on all notification sounds and pop ups. Some apps simply cannot be turned on like Google messages.
