I'm on calkulin's 1.5a rom with the ice cream sandwich twist theme, and I was wondering if there was a way to delete the status bar clock, I was on Starburst ROM and I loved the fact that I was able to delete it, can anyone help or point me in the right direction? I have Clockr Evolution and I don't need 2 clocks on my screen at any time
I've been looking for the same thing...I too had Starburst but switched to UnNamed bc of the constant software update notifications. Haven't been able to find the otpion to hide the clock or turn off the lockscreen on UnNamed like I was able to do on Starburst. So I'm guessing it's a feature that only certain ROMs have.

I am trying to get a transparent notification bar, with the five quick access button area transparent as well, maybe just the icons change color when on. This would be for the quantum froyo rom 1.3 w/ dko5 modem if it matters. Thanx for anyone who might be up to the task.

ok so i was running the acer rom on my evo and i love the notification bar. but i dont like the rest of the rom so my question is this is there any way to put notification bar on another rom?

I would love to change my notification bar too. I had the palm pre and I could change the theme and the symbols of everything with a few simple selections and doing it through an android device takes jumping through a few hoops.
My buddy has a Samsung Fascinate. Whatever ROM/theme he is running, he can do something pretty cool with the notification bar. Basically, he touches the notification bar, and without pulling it down, can slide his finger back and forth to manually adjust the brightness. Can't do that by default on the Inc.
Any thoughts?
if you've rooted and installed a new ROM onto your phone, most have the ability to customize the notification power widget stuff..
As far as I can remember (I haven't used stock stuff since August-ish) Sense doesn't have any widgets in the notification bar...which is dumb
I was wonder if there's any way to possibly hide the clock that's in the status bar when only on the lockscreen, so that there is only one clock (the larger lockscreen clock), kind of like on AOSP? I've been doing a lot of research, but haven't come across any setting or modification to allow this.
I'm running Android Revolution HD 18.2, and am running the stock kernel.
You can install a lockscreen replacement app that can hide the entire notification bar for you. WidgetLocker comes to mind.
I'm running Synergy ROM r484. Looking to do some minor theming, transparent status bar, maybe change the colors of the toggles. I've been searching off and on for a couple of weeks and am unsure how to proceed.
I've seen that Morphology doesn't work on r484, so that's a no-go. Ninjamorph hasn't been updated in a while, don't trust it to work with 4.1. All the status bar apps in Play store either don't do what I want, or change too much.
Is there a simple way to do this? I feel like I'm missing something, but I'm running out of search ideas.
