Please excuse my ignorance but why would WiFi work on 2.3.2 and not 2.3.3+?

I'm not entirely sure, it used to work great on 2.3.2, but ever since it never worked. I read a thread on here that only a small amount of people had this problem, and there was no solution. So I'm going back onto 2.3.2

[Q] lost wireless capability after unlocking arc

First of all, excuse me for my ****ty english...
So here we go, i've got 2 arc's wright... unlocked the first one, flashed the 1.86ghz kernel and lost wifi and bluetooth... flashed some firmwares, doomlords kernel so lost track on where I lost my wifi...
sick of the laggy performance, sick of the lack of normal memory capacity, so unlocked the other arc and only flashed the 1,86ghz kernel, hoping it wouldnt lose wifi and bluetooth... #bummer...
So, what to do next, how do I get my wifi and bluetooth working again?
Someone got an idea bout what to do?
just flash stock rom, then pre-rooted img. and start again. may be a corrupted file.

Actually most of the roms are based on .62 firmware. Imo arconium is the best gingerbread custom Rom out there.

Thanks for reply but, to root .62 its very tricky
If you use a custom kernel it will be pre-rooted.

Just visit this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330314 and download .42 firmware and flash it with flashtools and the best part is that it can be rooted easily with flashtools itself!
Dont forget to hit thanks!!!

Requesting for Xperia PLAY stock firmware

I was wondering if anybody has a LT15i 3.0.1.A.0.145 Singapore Generic stock file for Xperia PLAY? All those uploaded around the net that were on depositfiles have been removed. So if anyone has one, I would really appreciate it if someone could share with me a link or if possible, upload to mediaifre?

Maybe installing a generic rom or from the nearby areas and then try SEUS for repair? It worked with my xperia play like a month ago, like 10 minutes later I found my stock rom but I'm from Mexico so I don't know if it works every time, if it works then you can make a backup for a later restore, worth a shot maybe?
