Is ROM Manager compatible with the E4GT yet? I'm afraid to do anything with it until I get a consensus...

Dont understand whats happening... It was working fine then all of a sudden im having issues with people hearing me when i make or receive calls. I can hear them but they cant hear me and when i toggle speaker phone it echos and makes weird sounds on the phone and the phone calling... have not dropped it or anything. When i use a voice recording program the mic works just fine. I just flashed the super nova rom (works great with Dk28) and this **** started happening. I tried to apply AudioFixRC.zip but it fails to flash and puts my phone in a boot loop... any help would be awsome.
Ive Flashed other roms and the problem still occurs.
Please any help would be rad.

Which file system are you using rfs or ext4.
i had the same issue once
but when i used Odin to go back to stock dk28 tar it cleared the issue.

I used odin to restore back to the stock rom, kernel and removed root hoping it would solve the issue. Didnt help... still having the same problem. Everythig else works great. So whatever stock file system is, thats what ive got now. Any ideas??

Any ideas would be appreciated!! Im so glad i own an HTC Inc!! Ive been toying with a few phones and the epic has givin me nothing but problems! I would never buy this phone. Tryed to talk to my gf out of buying it but she didnt listen. So many problems!
I've heard of.people.having similiar problems on dk28 but not that bad. Try going back to di18 that should fix.it.

i was trying to install gingerbread on my elocity a7+ tablet and it seemed to be going fine. It said i needed to reboot to continue so i did. When i restarted it, it never started into an os. I turned on straight to a black screen, no text at all. I've tried holding all the key buttons and even unplugged the battery. Nothing works. How can I fix this? Installing a custom ROM or going back to the factory would be fine.
Having this exact same problem, I was trying to install the android market mod. Everything was going fine, then this.
I think we've bricked our tablets. All the mods I saw were for the A7, not the A7+. I read that there were no software changes between the two, and figured the same mods should work.
I would appreciate a more informed opinion, though.
Mine comes today. Did you just try to apply the 1.42 mod or gingerbread. Please be more specific. This thing is going back if I can't mod. Thanks.
I tried the 1.42 mod. Thread creator tried gingerbread. They both caused the same outcome.
It seems like it's installing fine, but then when it reboots, you get the black screen.
Wow that sucks, but I really appreciate your post. The device will be at my door in the next couple hours. Now I have to decide if the device is worth the cost ($199) without the mod. I guess with sideloading it won't be too bad..... Thanks again
It's a very nice tablet, if all you want to do is use the internet with it. You need the android market to get the best apps, though. Without that, it's useless, in my opinion. I'd rather just use my real computer.
Hopefully Dexter will get his hands on one and it's just a small change in the rom..... Not sure which way I'll go.... probably return

Tried going back to stock? Can you mount it in Windows?

Ok so today i noticed my wifi doesnt work anymore, it wont turn on... so i was wondering if there was anyway to go back to full stock so that the clerk at Telus wont notice it was rooted and stuff? i still have my 30 days with them i believe so, i dont think he looks at the system for root and flash anyway, can someone let me know? thanks!

Flash Stock, then get a little app called Triangle Away by Chainfire. If you go to the Dev forum there are multipe stickies to help you out.
Did you happen to change kernels at any time. Ktoonsez . It changes the wifi driver. Just reflash that kernel and all will be fine.

Before you go too far in reverting to full stock, try reflashing your kernel (or flash a new one, doesn't matter). Same thing happened to me today and this fixed it.

yeah i reflashed, but it wasnt ktoonez one though, im not too sure on how kernel flashing works tho >_< like you need aosp kernel for cm9/10 or wtv and blahblah so i dont want to go too far in that before im sure the hardware isnt the problem you know

I haven't used my DHD for a while but last weekend a friend lost his phone and asked me to borrow my good ol DHD.
So I thought I would update it to CM11 but there seems to be an issue with it.
I made a clean install of CM11 M10 Rom with PA gapps Pico
I had troubles booting but finally worked after a while. Managed to install some apps and gave the phone to my friend.
I told me today that the phone wouldn't stop rebooting to the HTC screen but wouldn't fully boot.
I'm not so much familiar with what's going on with the DHD since I haven't used it for almost 2 years.
I've search the thread of the rom but couldn't really find anything.
If anyone has an idea on what might but the problem, it would be great to know so my friend can have a working phone.

If S-ON than it's obvious. If not than out of my league. Probably update recovery or radio could possibly sort out your problem.
Though can you please share Hboot image of your device.
No, as far as I know it's s-off. I updated recovery before flashing. Don't know about radio. And I don't know how to share Hboot either...

i just found my phone while moving.. charged it and forgot how cool all the mods were.. was gonna give it to my daughter with the pink theme. but then i started to check on everything and noticed a bunch of apps dont workl. tried updating some of the ones i could. but phone really started running slow. i know it was the last version of jellybean. so i want to update phone and get her a different rom.. but it has been awhile and i cant find original tar file. ive been looking through posts in development and found a kitkat one,but it says to update bootloader first. so im guessing that it is just the firmware. i need the whole stock file.. it should include the bootloader in there right? also i tried to update through flashfire but says my supersu isnt new enough.. cmon 7 years old isnt that old.. sorry.. but i really havent done this in awhile. if i uninstall supersu. then redownload it from playstore will it be updated? i think its built into the rom though. does that mean i gotta extract from system apk? ugh... this is kinda fun messing with this thing all over again. she might not get it.. jk. just want her to be able to use without any issues. would be nice if it stayed roooted. then i could change themes and stuff for her.. but if not stock it is.. she just turned 10.. so this will be her first phone...help would be greatly appreciated. thank you for your time in reading this long post.. sorry. Could def use some help trying to get this running right.
