[Solved]Chrome Browser fix!!!![Fixed]

As us Custom Rom users have found out.. Since coming out of Beta Google was nice enough to leave us without our "BELOVED CHROME"... I feel your pain my FELLOW MEMBERS!! This is what I did to get it to work and let me tell you...The NEW UPDATE IS FAAAAASSSTT!!! Also has some 3d animation going on as well... Without further adu...You will need Rom toolbox from the Market which I posted the link below... In Rom Toolbox there are 3 pages...If you swipe the screen to the left it will put you on page 2 (READS PERFORMANCE)..This is where YOU NEED TO BE.. TAP ON:build.prop Editor.....Scroll down to:ro.build.id and make sure it reads (IML74K) if it doesn't then change to IML74K.. Then click SAVE..Then Reboot and Download Chrome and then you should be all set to go...
EDIT:YOU "MUST" ALSO CHANGE:ro.build.display.id also to IML74K..... DON'T FORGET TO SAVE AFTER CHANGES ARE MADE!! THEN "REBOOT DEVICE!!
PLEASE READ:This will get browser working but only 25% of the time..Browser keeps freezing..Thanks to a few good members for the HEADS UP!! This community is AWESOME!!

Wow JAYBIZZA!!!! Your da MAN!!! I just did this on both my tablets which WERE NOT working since the CHROME UPDATE!!! NOW=PERFECTION... I must also say the update has this BROWSER SUPER SNAPPY and a couple cool 3d animation features were added...ENJOY!!!

Would of been awesome, but it does not work.

I just did it on BOTH my Tablets!! It worked PERFECT for me!!
List what you guys did??? I would like to help..That is why I went thru the and took the time to post this!!!
I originally performed this on my phone...I can't see how it's only working on my Devices and nobody else !!

Did this on my Xoom running Team EOS nightly and all is great. Now i didn't use Chrome before this change so i can not tell you if it helped or not but chrome is working with the changes listed.

I commented on my own post just being a little silly... I guess nobody picked up that.. Oh well.. I hope this is working for you guys... Just trying to help. If it doesn't work for you try looking at the post listed above.. Krazy posted it.. Thanks guys!!

the build.prop edit is much better than the modded app.. with the build.prop edited you should be able to update app from the market vs waiting for the app to be modded.

It works smoothly but there is no equalizer effect , mate

[The Myth 2 Custom ROM related][Battery Bar mod 0.2c uninstaller]

Hey Myth 2-Go Green Custom ROM users,
I hope you are familiar with the myth updater app that comes preinstalled with the Myth 2 ROM.
So if you have downloaded the Mythupdate0.2c.zip battery bar mod from the myth updater app and it happens to be that you don't like the slim bar in the status bar while charging/not charging and you want to uninstall it then I have made a uninstaller for you.
Download the attachment and flash through CWM 4/5 recovery(I suggest CWM 5 recovery for no errors)
I have made this uninstaller because many users ask on the Myth 2 Custom ROM official Xda thread that how they can remove the mod.
I have also saved the users the trouble of having to flash the entire ROM all over again.

NOTE:-
1.If you are one of those users who know that you can hide the battery bar from the status bar using the battery settings app then simply don't download the attachment but no useless replies and no spam(Uninstaller related replies will be accepted and replied to).
2.This uninstaller is for those users who want to completely remove the Battery bar mod.
3.After flashing The uninstaller,the status bar will take approximately 5-15 seconds to appear,so DON'T worry if you don't see the status bar immediately after Booting,Just wait for 5-15 seconds and it will appear.
Removed the attachment because users were unable to download the Attachment due to Xda server down.

I have written that in the NOTE in the first post.
BTW CoolCatGetHome I have uploaded the zip file and when users try to download it,then it says 404-Not Found even though I have uploaded it perfectly.
Can you tell me why is this happening?
Is Xda's server down or something?

Wait for sometime dude.
XDA's server is down atm.
When the servers are back up again you can download the file as I have uploaded the file perfectly and no problem with the file as I have flashed and tested it before upload.
NOTE:-
Both the attachments are the same.
I had uploaded the second file because I thought that there was a problem with first attachment but the problem is with XDA's Server.

PM me about the tutorial and there is no way of installing gapps for cm9 in cm7 because they completely different

For some reason XDA doesn't allow me to PM you it may be due to you being a new member or you may disabled other users to PM you. Ok but here is the solution for the PM you sent me.
First off use the preferred link it should open google docs just press ctrl+s or go to file click download in both the case it should download a zip file flash it and if that didn't fix try another recovery it would help.

In our device the screenrecorders won't work on any custom rom it will work only in stock i don't know the reason why it is like that anywayz congratulation for getting cm9 in your device and I am always happy to help.

On stock it didn't worked that's why I got to the whole cm thing

You wont be able to run ANY screenrecorder on the p350.
Simply because it's for armv7 processors because old armv6 dont have the power for such a processor-intensive task.It would lag like hell on the p350

I am sorry my bad yes then try skyheiser's rooted stock rom he made some changes mine worked his rom only.

But every screencast app needs root to work I guess.

today i will show u how to get Quick Glance for our lovely SGG (no root required for this)
All u have to do just download App called Hovering Control
1) And Hit the menu button on your phone
2) select Alternative Detector (the most important thing)
3)go down until u fine Lockscreen-QuickGlance
4)select Show lockscreen Info and select show Quick Glance
5)hit the back button and select start
6)Now go to your lock screen and let the screen goes off wave your hand in fron of the phone
Now u are having a Quick Glance like Note 2 without Rooting
Note: this method will work on any Android Phone or tablet but with some Phones root may be required
