Flashing your phone with a custom kernel, like ninphetamine, is already available that corrects this sensitivity issue.

I ordered Ultra Capsule today from official SGP site, after days of confusion. They also come with a free Steinheil Ultra Crystal Screen protector. Good for me
offtopic - I can't see any orders yet when I log in to the site. Is it normal?

Had problem
I order one of those SGP Ultra Silke off e-bay from South Korea on the 6th of june
2 weeks later I just got screen protector NO CASE. For the last 4 days been e-mailing had to send him pic of the screen protector ? If I dont here from him on monday,time to contact e-bay...Them I will tell you guys the name of this store so you know who not to get it from.

What eBay store is this?

Anyone of you have seen a review of neo hybrid? Or maybe there is someone who can write something about that case?

I have the infinity white sgp ultra capsule. There are glitter on it, but they only noticeable in very bright light - they not bad at all, and I say it as someone that wouldn't use a case with noticeable glitters.
The holes fit great, but the case made for the Korean version, so its not stable enough on the international version of the phone, it feels pretty shaky and not snug.
I wouldn't recommend it. The case itself is good, but it's not fit to the international version, so its pretty shaky and not comfortable...

I've read that adding a piece of paper behind the phone is a good solution to this. Have you tried that?

So I paid 12.50 + 3.00 total £15.50 for a screen protector,I keep telling him I did not get the case, today I open a case in the resolution centre on e-bay.

Yeah I did that, and it fits perfectly now.
I actually put a small cleaning cloth.
If the sides make a noise when you squeeze them, it should go away after a few days.

Which one is slimmer?
Ultra silke or Ultra capsule ?

Not sure, but the Ultra Silke seems to be about 1/2 the thickness of a normal matte silicone case. Very slim and covers everything (except the TV antenna area on the top right )

I like the look of neo hybrid in the beginning. But after reading bad review of it (easy to break). I order the other one instead.

Looks like SGP is gonna release the linear series for the GSII also. I personally have their linear crystal on my iphone 4 and i love it. Can't wait to see how well it is on the GSII.

Got a review of my Ultra Silke here (link to xda) if anyone's interested.
Mine doesn't wobble around or anything- no need to put paper or anything inside the back.

Yeah, mine is the same, got the ultra white capsule, and it fits snug as a rug, got an aussie sgs2.

I agree, nice case, but made for korean version.

Thin cases or even none!

I'm looking for a really thin and lightweight case for my note. I really prefer to use it without the flipcase, and like the SGP ultra thin that I had for my S2. But the ultra thin is not out yet and just about every case is either too bulky or made of tpu or some other material that I don't like.
So what do u guys think? Is it sufficient to just use a screen protector? I keep my phone in my bag when not in use.

but pointless to get a case that is too slim as it wont end up offering any worthwhile protection. it may prevent scratches, but wont help with drops.

i got it 2 days ago , great grey/smoke transparent case , also i noticed it is very thin ,even thinner than the Nillkin cases (i have 2 Nillkin cases).
now i can easily plug my MHL / those big 3.5 stereo audio adapters, while with the nillkin, i had to take it off for both those adapters to fit , not saying Nillkin case is a bad one , no its is a great case.
so far im loving this new case , cos i tend more to like transparent dark cases.
hope this helps someone making up his mind

SGP Ultra Thin

Thank you for all the suggestions! I didn't know about the existance of some of them! I may still go for the Ultra Thin Air now that it is available as I had it for my S2 and coupled with an SGP screen protector, seems good enough.
For those who are unsure about how good the screen protector is, check out the video at the bottom of this page.

Surprisingly you can't find that case on Casemate site. Fake case maybe?

Well being a glossy plastic I suppose it does. My case for the S2 was white so it wasn't that obvious. Btw, I had dropped that phone at least a couple of times with the casing on, without any issues to the screen or bezel. Though admittedly the height was about three feet or less.

Not fake.
Yet to be released, along with Case Mate Tough Case and Smooth Case for the Note.

i like the golla but note sure how much protection it really offers

I have read bad reviews for the Ultra thin air sgp for the GS2.
What are the chances that SGP will fix the problems from the S2 for the Note Ultra thin?

Got one of these a few days ago, the case itself is thin and fits like a glove, that being said it scratches really quickly (it was scratched by the time I put the screen protector on) on the backside, screen protector so far seems solid.

Tight fitting case for the S3?

So far i have tried case mate barely there, nice but little protection and the edges wear very quickly and SGP modello which is nice, but would be perfect if it were a tighter fit.
I wanted to try the neo hybrid but from what ive read the fit isnt any tighter than the modello.
Is there a case in the modello, neo style that is a proper tight fit?

I'm not sure what you mean by a "tight fitting case" beyond one that fits securely. With that as the criterion, I can recommend two cases:
Less protective, and currently significantly less expensive (because only shipping is being charged), is the ZooGue, which is available for the cost of shipping. I paid just under $6.00 for two cases shipped within the United States. The cases are well-made and at least as protective as the basic black cases my wife and I bought for our Vibrants back in July of 2010.
More protective is the two-piece DBA Ultra Complete, which I received last night from Amazon.The fit and finish are excellent. The inner layer is TPU. The outer layer is a flexible polycarbonate.

Don't ever Buy the case-mate Barely there. It's horrible quality. I've heard the SGP Neo Hybrid is good

I second the ZooGoo. It's pretty slim and one of the tightest cases I've used. The UAG and Casemate Pop are both tight but not as slim as what it sounds like you are looking for. I too have the Modello and loved it until I got the ZooGoo. I just wish I got Black and not Red.
Currently not being productive on my S3.

The OP appears to be concerned about protection as well as a "tight fit." The more protection is an issue, the more I think I'd recommend the DBA Ultra Complete. But until last night, I was using a black ZooGue. It looks great with my PB SG III.

The Cruzerlite cases are awesome. Definitely tight fitting as requires some lining up to fit properly...can't just slap it on!
Buttons easily accessible, grease doesn't tend to build up like it does on my SGP screen protector either.

At the price you can't beat it. If it's protection, you need, go with the Acase. Absolute favorite all around case and another great value.

For protection, now having an Ultra Complete and reading the Acase description, I'd go with the Ultra Complete for protection. The Ultra Complete has hflexible, high-quality polycarbonate and TPU versus PCM and silicone.

yes its free, i just got mine yesterday. thought it was 2 weeks before it arrives, but hey, it took only around 1 week(i guess). what i ordered was red, which i thought ill be giving it to my wife as i plan to buy her a red S3; but i instead bought galaxy note 10.1!! lol... now i have this as my spare case (together with CM phantom, otterbox commuter and metal slim(white) ) hahaha

DBA Cases is a new company that makes the Just Like Glass screen protectors and Thin Grip and Complete Ultra. There are threads discussing the Thin Grip here, the Complete Ultra here, and the current production screen protector here. (I have no business connection with the company. I came across it in my search, as a new Galaxy S III owner, for a case and screen protector. The CEO has been an active participant in the discussion of his products. In response to complaints about the coverage of his screen protector, he had made and sent to seven testers, a larger trial model. I'm one of the lucky testers. Mine came yesterday. Bright Red? How bright we talking about I wonder? There's Crimson Red for other phones they make so I guess brighter then that.

Originally it was the Metal Slate, but the Satin Silver now looks a lot nicer than I originally thought. The Champaign Gold caught coworkers' eyes.

I do not have the Slim or ultra fit, but the the Spigen screen protectors work fine on my Neo and Ultra Hybrids

Neo Hybrid. I thought at the beginning I'd get the slate gray base and later just buy the metal bumpers but Spigen does not seem to be offering the bumpers alone.

The Ultra Fit comes with the Chrystal Shell screen protector.

I emailed them asking about just buying a separate frame I myself have a gold neo hybrid because it was cheaper (on amazon) lol and love it the color is okay, it definitely will get a bit of attention with the neo hybrid and people asking if its the phone itself or a case, anyways I'm hoping they'll reply soon, others should email them and ask if they could sell just the frames and see if you guys get a response

Literally searched high and low to find just the metal frame bumpers, but couldn't find none for our Nexus 5's. Did find some for iPhone 4-5S and Galaxy S4. I also emailed them if they could sell us just the frames for our N5's since they sell them for 5 other devices, waiting for reply.

Are those bumpers really metal? I thought they are just plastic... No?

They are plastic on the Neo Hybrid.

They are plastic. Called them metal because of the look and feel compared to the softer TPU body case.

Need a case for my Red Nexus 5. How does Red ultra hybrid look? Does the color match the nexus color, since its only red on sides and back is transparent? Also is it rubber-like or plastic?
Or is it better to go for a clear ultra hybrid?

Go for matte screen protectors. These will reduce the brightness/clarity of the screen in some respects but the quality of some of these are pretty good these days. Cheap ones will generally scratch easily. The ones I've tried for the Nexus 5 are the Gearmaxx and the Nillkin anti-glare. Both have been great in terms of what I wanted. The Nillkin is a bit better I would say in terms of overall smoothness/screen clarity/easy of application etc. Both reasonably priced.
In terms of cases - I would say matte or those silicon type ones. I personally don't like the feel of any of those though. The other option is a skin. Plenty of threads around for these.

I've seen it only in videos. Reviewers said It's a fingerprints magnet, specially the black one.

I have the black and it definitely is a fingerprint magnet. A case i would recommend, currently wearing it, is the caseology tpu carbon fiber

I've searched this case on Google, and it's anti-fingerprints. But I have to say I don't like the big logo on it. Eitherway, if I don't find any other Caseology is a good choice.

Cases I've tried that do not attract finger print smudge: quicksand case, 0.3mm cheap generic case, diztronic tpu matte. As for the rest like the slim armor and Google bumper case do tend to attract some finger prints.

I have the white ultra fit, haven't used very much yet, but the white back doesn't collect fingerprints. It also feels grippy and makes phone feel slim.
I am not using it yet since I bought a ~1,50€ bumper case at the same time and I am testing it out now.

I would appreciate you to send photographs, thanks! I'm very interesting about the SPIGEN Ultra Fit White Case. Is it get dirty easily? The color change with the use?
I bought one unbranded ultra fit white case, and two days later the white is yellow or something like that! (2 dollars on eBay)

Ok, I'll post pics when I get home. Since I've had it for a day, I cant yet tell about its durability, but so far, so good. Feels solid and I trust in Spigen quality.

Photos as requested. Didn't turn out so great, but you get how the case looks on. If you are wondering why my screen looks weird, it's because of a Copter screenprotector, which is rubbery and because of that, it reflects light like that.

Another +1 for the Caseology Carbon Case. Just got mine today and am very impressed... here's some pics:
I also have a Head Case, which is matte, however it doesn't offer as much protection.

Two days use and it still looks in good conditions. I like it. So far how easily gets dirty? After all is white.
Thanks about the pictures, probably I'll be buying the white one.

Np man
It gets dirty pretty easy, white afterall like you said, but things like grease and stains from dirty hands imo can be wiped easily. And you probably could wash the case in worst-case scenarios, I think.
