I think this is the place for this, but if it's not I do apologize. I don't have the means at the moment to get into theming like I want to, so I was wondering if anyone could theme the Gtalk app? I am currently running Feefee's Fallen Android V1.2 Rom. He has a custom version of the Erebos theme, but I'm running the actual ported theme. It is by far the sexiest dark theme out. I have also added TheImpaler747's themed market and transparent messaging to compliment the theme. I constantly use Gtalk and would like for it to match the rest of the phone. I would really appreciate it if someone could do this.

Must first extract from zip then install apk.
If you have or had ANY swype installed prior to downloading this you MUST remove any and all current Swype before installing. Look in 3 spots.. Data/app ; system/app ; data/data remove any Swype.apk and any com.Swype.whatever
Here is the tricky part, at some point you need to goto menu/settings/laguage & keyboard and check the box next to swype. Reboot. Afterwards goto a text field and select "Input method" . Reboot. Then try it out!
(CAUTION , my tutorial to install may suck so you will probably need to reboot again or something to get it. just be persistant!!!)

So you have installed cm7 and don't like puke green?
CM7.1-RC1 from puke green to frost blue and icy white.
Flash in recovery just as you did the cm7 rom, after wiping cache and dalvik cache (NOT DATA)

Transparent statur bar on lockscreen & notification bar
(sometimes ADW fights this one so unless you have already figured it out, it wont work most times)
I tried to remove as much of the puke green as I could (almost done)

and im about to buy a motorola photon "MoPho" (not much development over there so if i can find a flashable recovery and a flashable rom i am going to go "bat**** crazy" over there!!)
Is there a theme chooser app for the epic touch?? Or can I just install one from an Evo rom with root explorer??

If you are talking about Theme Chooser from tmobile/Cyanogen I am almost positive it will not work at all no matter how you install it. I believe it ties into CM at a low level to theme the interface so it just won't work unless you install one of the early cm builds that are floating around.

Hi I'm a old epic fan that went to the dark world of MoPho but I'm back now...I found a theme on the MoPho and loved the Smileys from the theme and wanting to add them to the blue cm9 theme I'm running on the epic...so my question is how should I go about finding them and making a cmw flashable zip or just add them to the epic from the other theme?
I love the sculpted theme that was out on cm7 and I ported it to my og epic slide on sprint but truth is I haven't messed around with themeing since froyo and gingerbread and now I work 60 hours a week I can probably do some smaller things like changing the mms bubble colors and dialer button colors assuming they aren't xml's but I just don't have the time anymore to hop on my computer anymore and spend forever themimg my phone by trial and error, please I'm on att and if anyone can help me with that theme or another similar yellow green and black neon looking theme that would be awesome, and thanks
