Official Galaxy Note Pouch - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Accessories

This one. Has anyone got one yet? Will the Note fit in with it's flip case on? It looks worth getting just for a little extra protection when it inevitably has to be put in a bag, while cycling etc.

Ive got it, and while ive never seen the flip case, i would say it would still fit nicelywith that on

Just got mine, and while it does fit inside with the flip case attached, it's pretty damn difficult to get it out again. It's stuck in there at the moment, i'm terrified of squeezing it to get a good grip so I can yank it out!
Definitely won't be using them both together regularly.

Well they are looking good but most important thing is if you can operate volume and power buttons easily. I bought one silicon case last time and it was real nightmare when I tried to operate the volume or switch off the screen.

This appears to be the a different color of the first case you linked to.

The review is not positive.
that for showing me that thread so not going to buy that one
just my .02 cents. When I originally ordered case in question the website showed different pictures of it, making it look like the TMO rubber case. Definitely not what I had ordered. Case came in and so I said what the heck ill try it. Bad idea, this cause in my opinion is horrible. Very loose, back feels weird, and the sides are extremely thin. I emailed Amzer telling them thats not what I ordered and so thought a good way to deal with it is to send me another one of the exact same color...... So now I have 2 of them sitting on my desk not being used, as I bought TMO one and I love it
The first case you linked is just no good in my opinion. First off its too loose. Your phone could easily just fall out of the case while talking on the phone. Its very annoying. Secondly the type of material used LOOKS as if it would be easier to grip but the opposite is true. The rubbery surface is actually really slick. Its more slick than using the phone without a case. Absolutely no friction when holding the phone.
I personally like this case A LOT. Its amazing

Samsung Galaxy S2 Mesh Vent Case - thoughts?

Since a fair few of you will now have one of these, I was just looking to get some thoughts and opinions on one please?
Also I know it can stand vertical with this case on, but can it stand landscape?
Thanks

I've seen that it can stand vertical on it's own when the case is on, I was wondering if it could stand landscape too?
Thanks

Yeah, it's a great little case. I bought the black one, and i'm looking at getting a blue one next. Really cheap for official ones from Trusted Sellers on ebay (roughly £7 without original packaging, £10 with)
the only downside is it lets dust through the little holes, so you get a neat little dust pattern on the back side of your phone - a regular removal and wipe on your trousers helps.
I've had one on it for about 2 weeks and I like it, only drawback is I had to shave down by USB connector plastic to get it to fit while the case is still on. I ordered another from dealextreme because it was really cheap. I notice the case just touches the mic area but doesnt cover it up. I like it because it's not very bulky and the plastic 'mesh' back fits over a soft case and makes it rigid and easy to hold.
Good luck for u
Got a generic cheap mesh case from eBay, its pretty awesome but as mentioned above, gets a bit dirty after some long time, and mine is cheap enough to start breaking on corners, had a few falls tho, and that's the purpose of a case, so the phone doesn't break instead
I had this case, it was okay at the start but in the end the plastic on the top corner started breaking away. Also the one and only time I dropped my phone with this case on I got a nasty scratch just above the screen where there was no protection. I had to ditch it. I'm using a plain black tpu case now, much more protection. The advantage of the mesh case is that its so slim.
Edit : Oh yea and its a dust magnet.
Got the original mesh case, I dropped it twice since I got it. First time no damage at all, protected the phone nicely. Second time the phone popped out of the case as it hit the floor (shoulder hight, had a nice spin to it also) but both the case and the phone didn't suffer any damage. So I guess it serves it's purpose and looks nice as well.
Aesthetically nice.
Crap if you want proper protection.
I bought it merely to protect the camera and back when I put the phone down to prevent scratching. For overall phone protection it's definitely going to be lacking as the top and bottom edges of the phone aren't covered. The case clips on easily but stays on fairly tightly. The rubbery material gives better grip when holding the phone. Dust does get in over a week or so over the back of the phone, though isn't noticeable with the case on, and can easily be wiped off. I think the case looks pretty nice, all key areas are fully accessible and for the price of about £8 was worth it.
is not compatible for i9100P
I've just buy the genuine Samsung mesh vent case for my Samsung Galaxy S2 win NFC (i9100P) but it is NOT compatible. My colleague on the i9100, not NFC, perfect fit.
Some ideas?
Light, strong and keeps the thinness we all love about our S2s!
Dropped mine a couple of times on to wooden floors and no damage yet
Protects the camera lens too when lying on a flat surface
The dust comments are true but only noticeable when u take the cover off so no big deal and it fits so snugly it kinda looks part of the phone!
To answer original question tho, no only stands in portrait
I got an official Samsung one given with mine. Good at protecting from scuffs when it's on a table or desk but wouldn't like to trust it with protecting my phone from a fall.
That's why it's sat unused in a cupboard at work! If anyone wants it just message me and I'll stick in the post.

I'll take the case if it's on offer, let me know your thoughts on shipping to Australia Figure you sent all your convicts here, so a case shouldn't be a problem

To case or not to case. That is the question.

So I am really torn. With my old phone I had a case originally, but I would swap batteries twice a day, plus I could never dock it in the car (since I had a dock made for my phone), or on my desk.
I am guessing with this phone I would not be switching batteries as regularly as I am now, but I still have the home/car dock issue. What do you guys think???
You can think of cases/screen protectors as insurance. In the end, it's up to you. But, one accident is all that is needed to ruin the phone.
I plan on getting a case, but my situation is going to be slightly different than your's. I have no issues with the dock situation.
Trust me, case up. I dropped my galaxy s3 and it smashed into tiny pieces. It wasn't insured so I was screwed.

The phone will be too valuable for me to drop. I seem to drop them from time to time. I will have some kind of case (bought 2 already).
As far as the battery switching, with the 3100mAh batt and resonably long life as reports elsewhere, I think you won't be de-casing nearly as often.
My present iPhone (gasp) has an otter case. Taking apart the 2 part casing to change batts would really get old fast.
Once you drop a phone in a parking lot, you learn to slap a case on it as soon as possible.
Otterbox JUST came out with the iPhone 5 case this week (or maybe late last week). That is a longgggg time to not have a case if the same trend goes with the Note 2.
Samsung TPU Case
I grabbed one of the actual Samsung branded TPU cases. First time I've ever bought an OEM case. It's a very, very slick case. Feels nice in the hand, doesn't add bulk and has a raised from edge. It's a bit pricey at 30$ and the only complaint that I have right now is the AUX hole isn't that big so a bulky connector still means I have to remove it.
Other than that, the grey on grey looks glorious.
I have never cased my phones. I've always used a horizontal to carry the phone on my belt. My S and SII have both been dropped several times and the only issue I have had is scuffing and nicks on the edges. Amazingly they help up better than I would of thought. The hip case has always worked well for me and provides good protection. But once the phone is removed from the case it up to you to keep it protected.
I'm planning on picking up a note II and have picked up a horizontal case for mt belt and a case with a bumper around the edge and a flip cover. I'm afraid the case my make the phone a little thicker than I'd like and am looking for an additional case with a slim profile bet also covers the back and edges.
The note II being a large phone, with a little more weight and a large surface area I'm thinking a case would be a good idea. I'd say a nice minimalistic case that is easy to remove is the way to go.

Does UAG Case become loose or slip out?

Has anyone experienced the case being loose that the phone may slip out. I'm thinking of getting one

I have had my UAG case for a while now and take the phone in and out at least once a day for various reasons. It is still tight and no chance of the phone sliding or slipping out of the case!
Hope that helps.
No problems here either, have had the case for 2 months, everything fits tight. This is my favorite case for my s3, wish I could get one for my wifes galaxy nexus.
Heck no it wont slip out, shoot i stuggle to take my phone out of the case. It wont sag either its composite case, made of moslty polycarbonate and part tpu

Looking For a Good Solid Nexus 5 Case

I don't know why it's been so hard for me to find a case that has almost otterbox-like quality for the Nexus 5, but it has proven to be just that. I was hoping when I first found out OtterBox didn't make one maybe I could find a Trident Kraken case for it, but also this led to a dead end. I wound up finding and buying an I-Blason, but I'm not satisfied. The belt clip makes it so hard and inconvenient to take the phone out when It is clipped to your belt and the one that had a belt clip didn't have a built in screen protector so I bought the one they suggested for the case which again I could not use, because when I went to place it on my device I found that after I removed the back so I could use it there was so small white lint or something stuff to the screen that I knew would bother me, but I decided to see if it was just my imagination, but alas it was not they are clearly visible, along with the rainbow looking bubbles I could not seem to get rid of on the screen.
So if anyone has had better luck finding a case for this phone please let me know, like I said I prefer one with a belt clip and built in screen protector, but apparently this is just something no one seems to want to make. I'm seriously considering just giving up and waiting to see if any good companies release a case of this quality for the Nexus 6 and just wait till then. :/
Thanks in Advance,
Java8C
Check out the Ballistic SG Maxx. It's probably my favorite case. Here's a review I wrote on it.
