both of these links are in ma bookmarks mate.. i am specificaly lookin for tmobile uk branded rom.. im sending my phone for repair... i think the trick i will do is put carrier id back to Tmobile but leave the rom at 1.32 stock.. they will flash tmobile.. il backup and upload it for all u guys who mite need it.. thanks for ur reply buddy

Let me know if you do ever get your hands on it, if you'd be so kind.
Hopefully once you get it back you can, as you say, pull the ROM off of it once you root it again (but I bet it comes back with 1.8X just to be annoying).
[EDIT] Is there any way to pull it from a NAND backup image?

i donno buddy.. aint that expert in these things.. but where is the nand image? give me the link.. i wud like to experiement and learn
I have a NAND backup ina folder called "Original ROMS" dated the day I first rooted the phone (that'll be the day I got it then) but it's only labelled by date.
The two problems that presents are:
1. I don't even know if it is a T-Mobile ROM that's backed up.
2. It will contain sensitive personal data that I wouldn't want to share.
[EDIT] Having spent the last two hours searching I can't find any reference to it at all. I'm beginning to doubt a UK specific RUU ever existed!

could u upload it somewhere else like www.megaupload.com ? because the file factory does not allow u to download more then 150mb/hour... downloading pauses at 150 every single time..
I will upload that and the PD98IMG.zip to my site shortly. Just have a bit of work to sort out in the meantime.

I already try it, but its said wrong HBOOT.
Before this my software version is this 1.58.707.3, and then i update to the latest version OTA 2.09.707.1, after that I root it and suddenly everything went wrong, my WIFI cannot work.
The link that you gave me is not the one, my RUU should have SEA ASIA WWE and not ASIA WWE, i tried before, but cannot be done, do you have any other suggestions???...pleasee...:crying::crying:

contact football (the guy who made the thread) and he should be able to get you the RUU you need....it MIGHT cost you £ to get it...say to him you need the following
SEA ASIA WWE 2.09.707.1 RUU

*facepalms* it wont work because his HBOOT was updated, the RUU does a HBOOT check regardless of being in fastboot usb or not, i know this 1st hand

okay, every day someone learns a new thing
If it just wifi problem and your bootloader is unlocked, what you need is to fastboot flash the boot.img for 2.09.707.1. If you need the modules too, let me know, I'll make a flashable zip for that.
And 2.09.707.1 RUU is Asia WWE, not Asia SEA WWE.

Have you tried to fastboot flash the boot.img ? If it work then you don't need the modules.
Anyway, here it is the modules for 2.09.707.1
Flash it the CWM recovery.

Kernel "modules" are part of the kernel and will be loaded from the kernel
for specific features e.g. device drivers.

When I try to flash the RUU's that I've got..
They always show Bootloader error 140..
I know that this problem is there because already a newer bootloader version is there on my phone. But still is there anyway to overcome this problem?
I'm currently on myONEv 5 fx (De Sensed).
And I had to ask one more thing!
I've got One V with Bootloader unlocked, rooted & Custom ROM installed!

I've already checked this, I need a Indian specific RUU (Software version must be ateast 2.22), I'm asking for atleast 2.22 becasue I've tried the Indian RUU 1.56 which shows bootloader error 140.

i searched the forum but nothing identical to my situation, nevertheless sure im missing something but any help would be greatly appreciated in advance being that i now have not worked today at all except trying to figure out how to root/unlock this *****..... i get to level 8 at htc dev and command promp for fastboot oem get_identifier_token and i get the command error..... i found where you should update ruu but in the available list there is a big skip right over my software version 2.17. my phone is wal-mart mobile carrier unlocked on walmart mobile ( dont ask ) but anyway the options on htc dev go down to like 2.13 and then skip to 2.20 ... my phone is branded tmobile and i see what looks like tmobile uk or something but no walmart mobile , t mobile usa or software version 2.17 so i really dont know wtf to do .........again thanks in advance for any helpful advice ..... i'm single again at 46 because of this kinda hoopla i have every time i root my phones but u know what .... i'm likin it!!!!!!

Hey found my hboot update toward the bottom of the list and the rest went smooth as silk ...... did use hasoon tool to flash recovery...

official tutorial is very long and time consuming. just download all in one toolkit by hasoon for wildfire s .extract it and connect your phone via cable to pc then run unlock bootloader ...follow the rest of tutorial on xda..
