Somebody with a stock (maybe rooted) Dinc2 do me a favor? - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

Would somebody with a stock or stockish Dinc2 do me a favor and download/install APN Backup and Restore - Android Market. Then run the app and do a APN backup and either upload here or email it to me? <myusername>@gmail.com
Thanks!

Sent, I accidently deleted mine too, but found a backup that is working.

[Q] Restore Voicemail Messages

Flashed TwoPointTwo over the weekend. Did a nandroid backup first, then wiped data. Afterwards, used Titanimum (free version) to restore selected apps.
I found that my saved (and locked) voicemail messages are gone. Is there some way to retrieve/restore them without reverting to the old ROM? If I restore the previous ROM from nandroid, will I find those old messages?
Thanks...

I think.... saved voice mail are not only saved to the phone but also the voice mail server.
They will not show back up in vvm unless you unistall vvm.
Make sure your vm number in settings is your cell number
Then reinstall it.
After the provisioning they will pop back up
This is what I did when i was using cm6.1.1 worked like a charm, hopefuly it helps you

[Q] Backup E-Mail Settings

Hi all,
Has anyone found a solution yet to fully backup your current email settings on the desire so can easily be restored when update or flash a new rom.
I use Backup Pro but there are no options to backup email settings
regards
Titanium backup has the option to backup email accounts, I haven't used it so I don't know if it will fit your needs but just try it out.
cheers will give it a try - it's the only thing that's not backed up on my phone and with half-a-dozen setup it's a pain to redo them everytime i update

Quick question my Geniuses

I addicted to looking at and trying out new roms but its so annoying that i have to download everything back and all my text are wiped bla bla i think some people might understand.
anyway i can install new themes but when its done loading that all my apps and everything is still the way i left it?
thanks in advance
First of, download and install Titanium Backup or Titanium Backup Pro. With it, you can backup all of your apps and their data. After doing that, go into recovery and make a nandroid backup of your current set up. Doing so will put your device back like it was just in case you don't like the new rom, theme or whatever it is you plan to flash. Afterwards and while in recovery, wipe everything except the SD card then flash your new rom. None of your previous apps should be installed.

you beat me to it, lol
Flattering us won't help.
And well to get your apps back, backup with titanium, restore apps and data, not system settings. And for you second question, it depends on what the app themes, you can always re-do the icon.
And jeeze, I'm the last one in the 7:08, 7:09, 7:10 time reply train.
Also, I just learned about backing up adw desktop settings ...restores all folder and apps where they were when you backed up. Super convienent...use after restoring from titanium backup.
ok so i just got to install titanium backup (which i have already but have never used it) and backup my apps and data as is (does this include my text messages? )
and the difference between titanium and Nandroid backup is the titanium backs up my apps and nan backup takes me back to my last backup was just incase the current rom i installed is not to my liking or faulty? right?
Correct me if im wrong, i can take it
tell you guys the truth i just care about my text's messages being erased. i don't mind installing the apps again.
Download and install SMS backup+ from the market, it's free. Once you set it up (easy) it will back up all your SMS and MMS to your Gmail account. When you load a new rom you can restore all your txts as well. You can set it to back up automatically or manually, your choice. To restore just start the app nd click restore, boom, all sms are loaded back up.
Thanks alot guys i really do appreciate it.
Complimentary BJ's to all
Mybackup pro will do that call logs text msgs and mms

i got a new rom and clicked restore and it restored "0"
and i did back it up all 139 texts.
Did you check your gmail account? It should show all your texts saved to a folder. If it didn't, then you never properly backed them up.
Once you install the new rom, be sure you signed back into your account in the backup app.

[Q] Working VVM

does anyone know how to get visual voicemail working sense 3.5? And im not talking about restoring a working version from TB, what i need is for it to provision i think thats the key for it to actually work. a third party app is ok but i prefer sprint's.
im looking for the same solutions but cant find the answer yeat
It's posted all over the place, ffs.
Go to the Blazing Roms thread (Fearmede, etc) click on attachments and look for VVM that I attached.
Put it on your SD Card.
Nandroid back to an earlier Sense ROM or the Stock Rooted ROM if you were savvy enough to make one. Use Titanium Backup to back up VVM.
Go back to your current setup. Use Root Explorer, et al to install the VVM app. Use titanium Backup to restore data only.
Open VVM, compose a message to yourself.

Best way to fix it
This way might take some time but it is worth it.
Restore or Flash a ROM that has VVM working
Make sure that it also has sprint zone too (That helps too if you ever have a billing issue)
The install titanium back up App that is free on the market (I am guessing your phone is rooted)
Open up titanium back up
Look through the apps that you should back up - ( I think it is Voicemail and Sprint Zone)
Back up with data.
The reflash the rom that you want
Install titanium back up
Remove all sprint zone and Voicemail Data that you have (under titanium Backup)
Install with data Sprint zone and Voicemaill that you backed up
********Don't go uninstall crazy some apps you need in your phone and will cause damage to it*************

ok gonna try that in a min. but heres what i did
copy the vvm.apk to sys/app and installed it, used tb to restore the data, hadnt provision yet. so i sent a message to [email protected] and it finally provision, lol, still doesnt work. so i went to settings>call> under voicemail "clear voicemail notification" would that be the problem? also when i use youmail all of my latest voicemail are loaded, cant figure out why third party apps work but not stock
I never seen it say it was provisioning it when I used it on Fusion, but it worked. I got all my VM's.
The only time I ever actually get a message that it's provisioned is on MIUI

advice-in restoring email accounts after rom flash

Can you guys share your expertise on how you restore all your email settings after flashing a new rom?
I have become a flashaholic and its a pain re-entering details of my 6 or 7 email accounts every time i flash a new rom.
I use TB (free) to restore my apps.
thanks in advance.
I searched for this by myself just today!
According the changelog of TB ( http://www.titaniumtrack.com/changelog/titanium-backup/5-5-2-1 ) it can backup accounts now on JellyBean. I saw this option in TB (paid version) but haven't tried to restore it for now. Maybe you will also have to backup the data of your mail App.
Anyone can share their idea of how they are restoring accounts??
I don't want to use TB as I hear it causes problems when restoring settings.
