[req] Android Keyboard - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Is there anyone who can port the stock the Android keyboard over to our phone. The one on the market is different in a way that I don't like, the buttons are larger and spaced differently and it doesn't always react correctly (at least for me) when in portrait mode not giving me the text box that I so desire. I'm hoping someone would be willing to port it over for a beer?

[Q] [IDEA] Landscape Titles

I run CM6 Nightlies and love it ADW launcher is nice, i like how customizable it is, and it being open source is a plus as I am looking to modify it a touch. Currently running a 6x6 grid with a 180 LCD Density (as low as i would like to go, dont want to squint to read my phone). It looks great while in Portrait (normal) mode, but when you go landscape i lose the titles to all my widgets/shortcuts. What i'm proposing is when you go into landscape setting you leave the icon alone, but move the title, well rotate the title 90 deg. I say to the right but either direction would work possibly with the option of choosing the side and the orientation (text read up or down) of text of the title. this would allow me to see the title of my widgets while in landscape mode without lowering my Density to an unusable/undesirable value.
If this feature is available on another launcher excuse my ignorance. If however this is an option lacking in the android community I would gladly throw a few bucks your way if you feel like programming the code, I would but my vast knowledge of Q-Basic programming (Thanks highschool for teaching a ancient language) does me little good for writing this code.
I'm sure there's more of you out there that would like to see something like this.

Any way to make the keyboard larger?

Posted this in the surround forum, hope to get some help here as well. The keyboard on this thing is rather small. Any way to make it larger? Thanks.
I thought that same thing on the LG GW910, just type faster w/o regard for errors, watch what happens.
Rotating to landscape doesn't make much difference.
What device do you have?
The one on the HD7 seems to be almost big enough.
I have an HTC Surround. I could care less about the portrait keyboard, but the landscape keyboard is where I have an issue.
it would have been cool if your device had a speaker on one side and a keyboard on the other side of the slider
Yeah that would be great! Anyway, I don't understand why the keyboard doesn't auto-resize or something, because I have blank space on both sides of it. I dunno, maybe
Microsoft will address it in an update or something.
That would be nice, we aren't asking them to rearrange it, just stretch it out in landscape.
I'm still asking for a Dvorak layout though, less confusion for the typo software. Very few words look alike in that keyboard.

Simple numeric keyboard

Hi,
I've got this phone due a week and I'm really scared why they let to distribution something that has problems with typing on keyboard - a really big lag
I am using now the standard keyboard with qwerty OFF on portrait mode and I don't want qwerty on this mode - the phone is too small for really fast typing.
I've turned off XT9 also, I just want physical keyboard replacement without any CPU-using helps, that are for me just rubbish, only touch vibrations would be appreciated.
It should be no higher than half of the screen also.
I've used SWYPE, SwiftX and SlideIT, they're only QWERTY which I don't want on portrait mode, I can't turn off hints, which only uses CPU and gives free space away.
Is something there what I'm searching for? Can be paid.
EDIT:
Yes, I've read this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1210730&highlight=keyboard&page=2
no help.
I use smart keyboard pro with t9 on portrait and azerty on landscape.
Works flawlessly, you can download dictionaries from market and apply 'themes'.
thx, installed trial now, it's fast, simplified keyboard works well, finally I can turn off full screen keyboard on landscape mode, but... is there any way to turn off hints? I really don't need them, better would be without them - more cpu for typing makes less lag.

[Q] can such an application be created?!

I am wondering if it is possible to make an application similar to virtual desktops. The reason?! To have to applications running in parallel, on the same screen (no need to switch between them).
For example, to have the Navigation AND the Music player on the same screen (yes, I know, smaller, but it would be great on big screen phones or tablets).
After one weekend, still nothing, not an yes or a no.... so... what should I understand?!

[Q] How to make the "reverse landscape" default?

I have the Samsung Flip cover on my Note II.
Most apps can be used in landscape mode in both orientations but some use just the "default" landscape orientation. Unfortunately, this is the one with the flip cover in user's direction. When the phone is on the table it is slanted downward away from the user and also prevents me from setting the note standing as an "A".
Is it possible to tell the phone to use the "reverse landscape" orientation as the main one?
Also, can I get the stock launcher to display in landscape mode? I've seen there are some utilities for this but none seem to work perfectly. I've read that the next Android version should make this possible..?
(btw, I must say I really dislike the side buttons that are sticking out too much compared to my good ol' Dell Streak - makes it easy to press them unintentionally)
(not rooted)
