I'm thinking about trying out the Miui ROM this weekend. Were is a good place to get Miui themes? None of the website I've found so far are in English.
After you download them an install they will be in english.

For the most part they will be. Sometimes you will get Chinese text left in a few.

Thanks for the link.
I should clarify myself. Where the website to download the theme is in English, not the theme.

There's an app in the rom. A lot of the theme's names are Chinese. There's some on miui.us also.

RootzWiki has some too. Most of the themes convert to English, but some lockscreens don't.

I used to be a died hard cm7 fan till I tried MIUI, in my opinion it has a lot more ways of customizing plus a bunch of little features.

So whats up with themes?
Can I just browse through the themes section in G1 and apply any of those that are good for cyanogen? Wanted to mess iwth some diff themes such as buuf and what not, but I dont wanna go through the entire hassle of backing up and flashing and all that stuff if someone knows off the top of their head if itll work or not. (And Im at work so its kind of hard to do that )
I'm just guessing at the moment, but since test2 supports the 1.2 officially, it would seem that any theme for the ROM should work fine. I was going to nandroid and try one out
Look for blackzeth in the android themes section, thank me later.
I have released Community Hero Mix beta 2 for Test2.
Give it a try.

So, if you don't have RomManager, u can download it here at their site -http://teambamf.net/

Ah that makes sense! I only assumed it was for the Tbolt because I haven't been back to the Inc forums since I got my Inc2, and I thought he stopped making roms for the Inc haha
Pretty awesome ROM. Only I dont like so far is you cant add skins. I tried 2.1 and 3D ones. Is there a trick to this or will it only accept themes?
I did a quick test since I never went to his site for info. This is a 2.1 build with 3.0 features. Use the skins from the thunderbolt. I just successfully installed carbonfiber skin.

I'm using the Black Board skin. Are you talking about custom skins?
And why is this ROM not in the Android Development section? It's awesome! Thank you ROM Manager!
Edit: The only thing I don't like so far is the Notification Pull Down does not have a quick settings page.
Edit Again: After a little research I have found that touching the title bar in the notification pull down will take you to the Quick Settings menu. Also long pressing the title bar in the Quick Settings menu will show the recently used apps menu.

This is the best 3.0 hybrid ROM. Period. The only issue so far is the weather lockscreen doesn't display 100* properly.
This is a ROM you must try. SMS/MMS work right. No issues with contact photos. Overscroll glow and screen on/off animations.

I have to say that this is the first rom I have used that has had 0 problems. Battery life is amazing. 13 hours and only used 30%. Installed patch fixed any little thing that was going on. Excited we have more devs coming aboard.

no issue found so far, this is the best hybrid rom available for our Dinc2 at the moment, nothing can come close to the functionality, speed, and stability of this sense 3.0 featured rom. The other top custom rom is the Gingerbang which I'm having a hard time to decide if I should switch back to it but have found no reason to yet, both of them are awesome.
Mods please close this thread, ROM is no longer supported, thank you...

The screenshots are of the custom theme, I figured everyone pretty much knows what stock ICS looks like, so I didn't post any shots of it.

It's really cool, but the removal of the screenshot from the long press menu ruined it for me. Also it seemed to have some ESPN Sports scores app that couldn't be uninstalled without deleting the apk..
I have used almost every single AOKP/asop ROM for this phone and have seen the good, bad and ugly. I prefer Xylon and XenonHD more that the rest. I have never used a Miui rom, not sure why.
Could someone that does use Miui give me a pitch as to why I should switch?

Good news is that the interface looks really nice and its not as sluggish as i remember it. Bad news, it have an annoying bug in which the home button doesn't work, stock browser also won't work. Couldn't test much more because the home button bug was annoying, but everything else seemed to be fine.

Just try it out. Why would some random people on the internet need to pitch it to you. You are just inviting the trolls. Instead of being lazy, just try it and see what you think.

Really? Are you using the most recent OFFICIAL release of miui?
Wait.. if u have an lte gnex, this could be your issue since the sprint and verison versions get 3rd party ports of the i9250 version.
Anyways, I use miui and, while there is some interface lag compared with aosp, its still a great ROM. Aosp is hideous IMHO, especially since 4.2 came out.
Miui is very nice, even the stock icons look better than aosp.

Noup. Im using the OFFICIAL for Gnex MAGURO, build by Xiaomi (The one found HERE). Im flashing 3.1.11, which is the latest according to that site. Using TWRP to flash. Might been a bad download, if you insist that its working fine for you, but i did a little research, and some people were complaining about the same bug, so i thought that it was the rom, not me.
EDIT: Just checked, and i highly doubt its a bad download because MD5 matchs with the one posted on the site.

Ok, got MIUI to work. Seems like its not a good idea to flash the ROM and GAPPs on the same go. I had to flash rom, boot the phone, set it up, go to recovery again, and flash gapps, after that, everything seems to be working fine. Even the browser. Seems like that was the key.
I've been waiting for the MIUI roms to come to the LG. Does anybody know if they are going to come out with a MIUI rom release for the LG. Thanks.

Oh I did tried it and love it. Most of the themes are not adjusted to fit the measurements of the the phone. I'm always using the default theme because it fits fine, but there are others that just not for this phone. I wish that someone continues to work on this rom.
Ok I don't know about the rest of you guys but I'm getting bored of Lollipop roms. Why? well....They all look the same and promising new features as it progresses. Thats fine but I'm kind of bored of looking at the same thing. Thats why I like MIUI, its different. Now, I see that its closed and no one is working on it. If I know how to create a rom I would work on this rom.
I would love to have an updated version of the MIUI v6
Does anybody know if there will be another MIUI rom coming to the LG? I sent a PM to the developer of the rom for the LG but haven't heard anything yet. So I was wondering if anybody know if someone else will be working on this rom. I would love to have MIUI back on my phone.
