Sounds like your number isn't stored; go to Settings/About Phone/Status and see if your number is listed, if its showing as "Unknown" then go to Settings/Call Settings/Additional Settings/My Phone Number and enter it there.

So I dont know if any have you come across this issue, but when using the physical keyboard some apps get launched when pressing certain keys. For instance if I am typing a text message.... and I press "e" key... the E-Mail setup app gets launched.... really annoying
any thoughts?

Its a Quick Launch issue caused by a stuck search key; either press the seach key first or go into Settings/Applications/Quick Launch and disable all the launchers there

Have you tried opening the message app going into settings then general and unticking show sent message history along with show call history?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
All of them are unticked and same thing happens. I can't believe that such a great phone like this has this minor problem. I think that I have to root my HOX and it will fix this problem I hope.

+1 for Textra. It's so simplistic, it's almost iPhone-esque.

Excellent! Just uninstalled go SMS. Really like the clean interface as well as the way it displays and categorizes emoji. I agree that it matches sense very nicely.
Thanks for the recommendation!
