Hello.
I have HTC Evo 4g brought to me from US.
And here is the trouble: it is random reloading at different boot sequences(for example while htc EVO 4g logo on whitescreen, while Sprint4g logo running), few times even Android started up, and a after few seconds device again reloads.
I have not do any changes to phone, here some info:

That right there means your phone is NOT rooted. I would boot into recovery and do a factory reset of the phone.
I entered the boot menu and hit RECOVERY... after that i got black screen with a picture of an evo, and an red triangle with an explanation mark.
After that i've done Factory reset, but my device is still reloading...

Did i something wrong, how could i factory reset my phone ?

That is stock recovery, which is no recovery. Do a battery pull, go back to the bootloader, and select clear storage. That's a factory reset from the bootloader.
After a Clear Storage phone is still reloading, do microSD card have to be plugged in while clear storage ? and if it is, in what filesystem format SD ?
After a CLEAR STORAGE device first time runs Android and after few seconds reboots, and after that continue to reboot forever)

Your phone is stock unrooted so your SD card wont affect the boot sequence. Since it is unrooted you may want to just take it to Sprint and have them take a look at it.

Do you not have Sprint in Ukraine? If not then what exactly are you using a stock, unrooted, Sprint phone from America for? There are a number of cheaper MP3 player alternatives out there.
You can try running an RUU. Since I think that usb debugging has to be on (but I'm not positive), download one in zip form (not exe, you run those from a computer). Be sure that it's named PC36IMG.zip exactly and put it on the root of your SD card - that means not in any folders. Boot into hboot by holding volume down & power. Your phone will search for the file and ask you to update. Select yes with volume up. When it asks you to reboot, do so.
Use this here, it should be properly named.

I seemed to have trouble with my phone on certain bugs in using alot of different roms, switching, testing, etc...Now I completely deleted everything off my phone by accident and was wondering if I can get back my screen?
I'm stuck on HBoot when I turn on phone, It has no rom, no recovery, no system, no data, and this basically happened due to me trying to wipe CM6 RC 6.1 ROM with snapKernel 7.6 loaded and on.
I did wipe data/cache/dalvik but it didn't allow me to roll my phone on Myn's latest rom.
I tried re-installing adb and variables / drivers / but I got nothing.
I think it's basically because I'm having this trouble due to having no files loaded on my android EVO 4g.
Here are the specs read from the Hboot screen

Here's what I do remember and what I can say about my phone atm...
I did wipe sdcard by using format, and using the format on all other options too from recovery but now I have no files, how do I put back the files I'm missing to run my phone to normal?
Yes my phone is rooted. No, I don't think it's bricked.
Just missing complete files to my phone's system / data / etc
Nice... yeah if you deleted / (the root directory) that's never a good idea. In my sig is a link to Amon_RA's recovery where he has instructions on how to flash it with fastboot. After you do that you should be able to flash a ROM like normal.
Thank for your reply, I'll give it a start and let you know.
No, it's not working, I think I bricked my phone completely, It has just a Hboot screen with no files...zzz I'm not sure if that's understood or not, but I formatted the whole sd card and looks like theres nothing in this phone?
Edited: I think I have no device seen by my pc, and It shows error: devices not found ;(

from the hBoot menu select Fastboot. You should be able to see it over USB afterwards
I was doing that but it still doesn't see my device. I'll give it an another try
Okay, It worked.
Here's what I did.
I downloaded the file recovery-RA-evo-v1.8.0.img and flashed it with the command in fastboot on cmd.
im now in recovery, how do i put my myn's rom and the king's 11 cfs kernel in there to make it work now?
Edited: I now see the USB - MS toggle function feature, very nice Amon Recovery saved my phone ;D ty
yw, If you push the files to your sd card amon_ra should see them. Also be sure to dismount/eject your SD card from your computer before leaving MS mode in the recovery, I've noticed it can corrupt your card if you cancel out while it is still writing to it.
Thank you for the help Haus, I appreciate the sincere generosity.
I think my phones back now after flashing up my new rom and kernel, plus goodies
It feels brand new.

Hello any help will be appreciated, sorry if there is another post already dealing with this issue.
I recently installed Virus Rom Kingdom Rev. .02 and it was running really slow. I restarted it through the power down feature, and now my phone would not boot past the "HTC EVO 4G" startup screen. I rebooted into recovery, however it kept kicking me out of the recovery and back to Fastboot. After some time of frustration, i "cleared storage". Now phone goes from "HTC EVO 4G" screen to a screen that flashes ANDROID slowly and does not go beyond that. How if at all can i recover from this issue.

Reflash RA recovery in fastboot, reinstall Rom
so do I place the RA Recovery file on my SD via computer, reinsert then run fastboot?
Affirmative, the pc36img.zip one, not the recovery.img
Place on the root of your sdcard, then boot into the bootloader, apply the update, reboot, reboot into recovery, and you'll be on amon_ra 2.3.
When I downloaded and put on root of SD card, it won't check for the update in bootloader. Any advice?

Did you rename it?
It doesn't do its normal scan?
No I didn't rename it. Should it be update.zip ?
No its not even checking for it now. It's weird.
Pull battery and hold volume down and power, there is a difference between the white fastboot screen and the hboot bootloader screen, although they do look very similar.
Once in fastboot, how do I get it to scan for update? It's not doing it automatically.
Nevermind, the SD card must have shifted. It's working now. Thank you for all your help.
OK SO, I DONT THINK IM A NOOB, BUT APPARENTLY I AM. MY HTC EVO 4G IS ROOTED, AND IM RUNNING CM7. FOR SOME REASON MY RADIO HAS BEEN ACTING UP. IVE WIPED THE DELVIK, THE DATA, AND THE PARTITION. NOTHING. IT WONT LOAD PAST THE ORIGINAL HTCEVO SCREEN. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. ALLL I REALLY CAN ACCESS IS THE BOOTLOADER, AND RECOVERY. IN RECOVERY, MY SD-EXT WONT LOAD, I CANT CREATE A BACKUP, AND I CANT RESTORE. WELL I CAN, BUT I CANT MAKE IT PAST THE BOOT SCREEEEEEEEN. HELP PPLS. PLEASE.
Click on amonRA in my signature to download its PC36IMG.zip file and place it on the root of your SD card (not in any folder). Turn off your device. Now simultaneously press the DOWN volume button and the power button until your device starts. After a short pause, a few lines of text will flash across the screen. Look at the top of the screen and see if it says "S-OFF". Hopefully, it does. If it displays "S-ON" then you will need to re-root. Anyway, the bootloader *should* auto-detect the file and prompt you to install it. Follow the prompts to install. Installation should take no more than 10 seconds. When it is complete, select recovery from the available options on the left side of the screen. If all went well, you should boot into your new recovery. If so, go to the wipe menu and wipe EVERYTHING in it EXCEPT the SD card. After that, try to flash a rom. Do not attempt to restore a nandroid backup unless your backups were created with amonRA. If you are able to flash a rom, be very patient during the initial boot. It may take a while. Let it finish. Get your mind set to wait 30 minutes even though it shouldn't take that long.

for some reason, i cant place the img on my sd card? its odd but its saying "insert a disk into drive E" unless im doing it wrong, im not sure i can place anything on my sd card without selecting "turn on usb storage" or is there? thanks for the help so far. just a few more tips and ill be on my way.
Can you get to the bootloader and then into recovery from there? If so, then disregard trying to flash amonRA right now. If you can, then select the MS-USB option or its equivalent if your recovery is ClockworkMod to copy a rom or any other file onto the card.
Posting & Replying from my EVO 4G
yea i can. but ive done all. wiped all, and nothing. what EXACTLY should i do?
Since you're able to get to recovery (I am assuming it's ClockworkMod), go to my initial reply and follow the instructions to flash amonRA v2.3 and everything else I stated. In the meantime, I'm going to locate a ruu for you to flash via your PC that *should* get you up and running. By the way, when you boot into the bootloader, what is the hboot version that is listed at the top of the screen?

Do u have any way of putting the PC36IMG on the SD card with your computer. Like a SD card adapter or anything? If so take the SD card out of.your phone and try to put the IMG file on it that way

If u have Clockwork, u can mount the sdcard while in recovery.
Or use another phone to place the img file in the sdcard.

First thing's first - it's not a brick if you can get into the bootloader (which you obviously can). The device appears to be NAND unlocked (likely with unrevoked), so your next step is to flash a custom recovery (RA-supersonic recommended), and then you can flash the custom ROM of your choosing.

You need to go the dev section, search for the amon ra thread, flash that recovery VIA PC36IMG method [explained in thread], then flash a rom through the recovery. Best to use a card adapter to place the files on the sd card till you get a recovery loaded.

Preferable AOSP roms. 'Recommend team nocturnal's xplod rom, jared ICSMOD7 [cm7 based], or jared's ICS rom.
Good find. Already S-off, and with the old froyo radio. The tricky work is already done. Good for you. Good luck.

I put PC36IMG.zip on my sd card installed it in the phone do I use fastboot or recover or what
When the HBOOT and FASTBOOT come up I press the on button the a red FASTBOOT and blue BOOTLOADER comes uo press the on button a the green " SD checking loading PC36IMGzip " then it goes away.?
SD card won't read any thing

HI my EVO 4G has white screen and have S OFF I tryed to HBOOT with the SD card with PC36IMG.ZIP on it . I press the volume down and the on > the HBOOT comes up >press on button again > the green message quickly comes anf goes > all I cane see id PC36IMG then "loading no image ot wrong image " 3 or 4 times . I formated the SD FAT 32. why won;'t it read the card? What can I do
It said >Parsing SD zip 1 recovery do you want to start update I hit recovery and I see a progress bar go up the left side > the I say yes to reboot >they it goes blank and off
U need to put the PC36IMG.zip on the root of the SD (not in any folders) boot to hboot and let it find the zip accept the update and let it install, once its done installing don't reboot scroll down to recovery and select it, download a rom to your PC, in recovery mount the USB ms and transfer the rom to your SD card, then go to wipe and wipe all options except battery stats and the SD card the navigate back to the main menu and select install zip from sd , navigate to your rom zip and select it let it update, then reboot and you should have a working phone, if you can't get to recovery after installing it , the device may have been bricked by twrp recovery which will let you into hboot but screws up the partitions so you can't flash anything in which case its done and there is no fix, if you can enter recovery tho you will be all good and able to flash a new rom and boot the phone up to activate it, since it isn't activated at this point I suggest installing a stock rooted rom or tommytomatoes classic as you will need one of those to use epst to activate the phone once activated you can flash any rom you like, you just need a stock or close to stock rom to activate it given it has a clean esn and can be activated on sprint, if the esn is bad your only options are to flash it to another carrier such as boost mobile, cricket or metropcs or use it as a wifi only device

you need to take out the sdcard. the bootloader is failing because the stuff on it is too large or its a dud card.
using a different sdcard go to the "how to downgrade from hboot 1.02.0000 to hboot 1.01.0001" thread in the general section and download the package. open it and rename the 1.01.zip to pc49img.zip (making sure its not.zip.zip) and then put it onto the sdcard. put that into the phone and reboot to bootloader. assuming all is well it will find the "update" and ask you to flash it. select volume up to flash. wait for complete install and full reboot into stock rom. job done
nop didnt work, any other idea??????
i rename the 1.01.zip to pc49img.zip and then i put it into the sdcard
i start the phone holding the "down volume" boot into bootloader mode after 3 sec started
searching image.. image not found..image not found..image not found..
and back to bootloader without can move any button.
i'm 6 hours trying to find a solution even adb i tried but this not founding device cause i cannot debug usb.

Your sdcard is incompatible (make sure its a genuine card, like sandisk ect and is preferably under 4gb) or you have renamed it to pc49img.zip.zip, if you are using windows search on Google for how to enable file extensions and see if its named zip.zip
Sent from my HTC Sensation using Tapatalk
im not that rookie
the file extension is correct.
and the sd card is 2gb from my other mobile(st15i)
Also, just because your card came from another phone and is 2gb does not mean a htc bootloader will like it. Sometimes they just reject reading from some cards. Nothing wrong with them other than the hboot simply not liking them. Try a different card if possible.

Hi,
I just have the exact same pb (except my HBOOT is 1.01.0002 and it is branded Bouygues). I had no SD card in my phone. At first I thought it was hardware because I found some other thread saying that this could be a short circuit resulting in power + vol down behing hold at all time, hence the bootloader and kesy not responding but it turns ou it was not it... So hope for you I guess.
* I download a RUU : RUU_Buzz_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.22.405.1_Radio_13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10_release_160191_signed.exe
* plugged the phone without battery
* put battery in (which resulted once again in bootloader screen)
* waited for the device to be installed on my computer
* after that I run the RUU.exe which wipped user data, did some other stuff... (meanwhile the screen went from bootloader to HTC) and at some point the instalation failed with a error 131 id client (because the version was older than the one installed on the phone)
* after that the phone restarted normally and everything is fine now
well, nevermind..
It works as long as I don't turn off the phone.... This is driving me nuts. I managed to downgrade the HBOOT to 1.01.1001, gained S-OFF with revolutionnary (couldn't install clockwork recovery though). I even run the RUU successfully but if I turn off the phone, next time I power it on, I end up on the bootloader screen and power and volume buttons are not working.
[Edit] I found more info in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2354199#post58713960.
Instead of running the RUU, I can skip the bootloader by simply running the command :
fastboot reboot
I don't want have to do this every time I turn off my phone to make it work again. So, I'm still looking for a more definitive fix.

Actually I managed to solve this 2 days ago (I am pretty sure I already posted to say that, can't find the reply though) by copying a CMW 5.0.2.8 PC49IMG.zip (http://www25.zippyshare.com/v/70647552/file.html) file in my sdcard and inserting it in the phone.
I could boot the phone in normal mode without going through bootloader screen (even without flashing anything...).
After I restarted to bootloader (willingly this time) keys were working, it prompted for the update, so I could install CMW and after CM 7.
So everything is fine now thank you.

I don't want have to do this every time I turn off my phone to make it work again. So, I'm still looking for a more definitive fix.

Hmm. When your in your stock rom does the volume buttons work?
You can install clockworkmod recovery by using fastboot commands pal. If your on your stock rom and dont have advanced reboot you can download an app called quick reboot and use that to reboot. We need to work out if its your volune buttons that are broken or not. If they are we may be able to replace them, or worst case senario we can disable them.
