What are some nice accessories to have? Sorry if this has been posted.

3500 Extended Battery-I like the battery life it's awesome I just didn't have a case for it and scared of dropping my phone like my first one shattered my whole screen. So I only use it in the house. Motorola S305 Bluetooth Stereo Headset Wireless Headphones-They are awesome sync to my Evo and iTouch 4g at the same time so I don't kill my battery if the phone rings it pause my iTouch and sends voice to my headphone and I've never gotten any complaints about the quality so I guess it was a nice deal. You can also use them on your PS3.

Car Charger-Not much to say about it but I don't think it charges the phone like the regular charger.

to be quite honest, i'm disappointed in the lack of accessories for the Evo. I understand it's not an iPhone, but still, it's a solid, badass phone. why aren't accessory makers jumping on it?

The MonoPrice Micro-HDMI cables work for me and they are CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP ($3 - $18)
I can't post links because I'm a (relatively) new member but go to monoprice dot com and search for "micro hdmi", they're about 1/4 to 1/2 down the page.

The quality of the plastic based on those pics makes it look like something you'd see on cellphoneshop.net for $5.
I would pay slightly more for a quality dock using the connector pins that has some weight to it, maybe even a metal base. Unfortunately nothing like that is out and I need a dock ASAP, so they'll get my $30

My point was that the designer of this put little thought into the use of the product. I have enough "night lights" in my bedroom as it is.

Too bad it will not work for me. I will not remove my TPU case nightly to use this. I wish somebody would come out with a doc that has few inserts (similar to apple docs) so phones with or without cases would fit. I would buy 2 of them if that was to happen. One at work and one for home.

I can't believe you can get this phone for 29 bucks with a new contract in some places, then have to pay 30$ for (what looks to be) a cheap piece of junk like this.

The Samsung one looks like there's no room for a case.

Unfortunately it does not appear that the Amazon dock will work as a multimedia dock, merely as a charging station.

That is correct. I have it here at work and it is pretty lame. Speaker line out, and positioning it on its side or standing up are the only redeeming features. No HDMI.

Do either of these allow for cam use? Need something to stand phone up

Just pulled the trigger on the Amazon one, looks like it will fit well with a TPU case.

I'm disappointed in this dock, and I hope they release a media or productivity version with HDMI. The ability to plug in a usb kb and mouse would have me paying $50+ with no complaints.

Naztech 4000 Car Dock

Has anyone ever used a Naztech 4000 Universal Car Dock? It says it's compatible with the S3 and it's pretty inexpensive. Here's a YouTube review:

The Infuse dock for $17 shipped is a much better dock.
Actually IMO, it's the best dock for the S3 right now.

My only concern with that one was drilling out the holes for the speaker but it may still be worth looking into.

If you use the 3.5mm audio-out option then there will never, ever be a need to use the internal speaker.
Actually, I've been using the dock for the last seven months with a Skyrocket SII and never once used the internal speaker.
So my point is, don't worry about drilling. It's not needed.

Works for me! I'll probably get this one then even though I will still have to drill. I don't have an AUX input on my car stereo...

Yeah. If the Infuse Dock works (and it's $17) I'm fine with it. The Naztech looked like a good concept though.

Bump. I too am interested in this. Or even any good QI charger with NFC that will elevate my Nexus 5 up a little bit so I'm able to view the screen from a small distance. I've never used the Tylt Vu so I can't be positive, but it doesn't look like it angles the phone enough. It's also quite expensive without a promo code or something. I was really looking forward to the Synergy Home & Vehicle Wireless Charger despite its slightly ugly base but it looks like it didn't work out with the company. You can still "pre-order" it on Amazon as well.

Doing this with the TYLT right now. You're right, the angle isn't as steep as it could be, but I've had no problems seeing the clock. I'm really happy with this setup.
But yeah, don't buy it unless it's on sale... $70 is ridiculous.

This one has larger speakers, and is apparently more bass heavy. Dunno very much about the one you posted, but I know they both have adjustable micro USB plugs that can be oriented to work with the Nexus 5's "backward" USB port, which is what made me get one in the first place.

Tmobile has had a 30% off accessories coupon floating around, and they stock the VU in many stores. I picked one up for $48.99 + tax. Well worth it IMO.
