[req] gameloft games. - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

I know there are few gameloft games out right now for the T-mobile Samsung Galaxy SII like nova2, spiderman etc.
but I'd like to play the modern combat2 and the new modern combat3 and other great games out right now by gameloft on my new device.
I remember from Nook Color or other device forums, they had a way to play gameloft games that's "supposedly" not supported for their devices. like they downloaded a version for a different phone for instance or something like that.
so that's what I'd like to know. is there a way to play "unsupported" gameloft games on our amazing Galaxy SII?
not sure if this is the right place to ask. sorry if it's not. i'm new here.

I'm guessing English isn't your first language. The line about "good positions for playing of various gender." Makes absolutely no sense, so it's hard to understand what you are asking. Do you want some good game recommendations?

Yes it is not my first language very good perception, however you guessed very well what I meant (and very good imagination), anyway I've a little complicated the grammar and sorry for that.
Exactly, the question is: what games can you recommend to me. I am interested in all the types.
Thanks a lot once again and forgive me next puzzles if any...

N64oid!! - I know you know what a N64 is And I know you love Super Mario 64
Something newer ?
OK, the games I have installed right now are asphalt 2, cubes free(kinda old school graphics, but lots of fun), gun bros (one of my favorites), heavy gunner, nfs shift, spectral souls (very expensive, but well put together turn based RPG), squible (it was the first game on the market that captured my attention), zenonia 1 and 2 (Zelda style RPG) and also live holdem pro(free live poker game, very addicting)

I think the word you are looking for is "genre", not gender. Genre is a group or category of something, and gender is sex (like male or female).
In any case, Pocket Legends is pretty cool, but the games I limit myself to these days are Angry Birds, Slice It and Wordfeud...all puzzle type games.

I'm a gamer myself and have literally tried every game available on android. Pocket legends is pretty fun to have for a portable mmorpg. It has some obvious tones similar to world of warcraft. Another fun rpg is crusade of destiny. Its got great graphics and fun gameplay and kept me busy for a couple of weeks. Spectral souls is a well made game for sure but its more one of those strategy rpgs that lacks the ability to fully control the player. It reminds me more of an amped up chess game so it wasn't my taste.
Also if you're running a high end device, which I can assume you are because you're in this forum, I can reccommend any of the gameloft games. They aren't available on the market so you'll need to visit their site. Just google gameloft. They are a little pricey and some of the games can be a little buggy at times but as far as graphis go and playability there is little comparison out there. Games like splinter cell, hawx, modern combat 2, and avatar come in high definition formats and stick pretty close to the full size counterparts.
Other than that you should bury your gaming urges in one of the several well made emulators on the market. A lot of good games from the days past and some fun memories too!
Happy gaming!

Another game I would highly recommend is Project INF. It's a top down multiplayer shooter. Somewhat addictive once you get into it.
I think someone already mentioned it but GunBros is also a good shooter game.
EA also has a bunch of mainstream titles on Android like Sims 3 and FIFA 10.
I hate to support companies that refuse to support Android by refusing to put their apps on the market but Gameloft really has some of the best Android games. I currently have Modern Combat 2 and for an FPS with 3D graphics running on a phone, it's absolutely stellar! It even has multiplayer. Not sure about the price but I think I got it for $3.99 or $4.99. Just Google "gameloft".

Have you even looked into the reason WHY gameloft games are not on the market? It has nothing to do with them not supporting android.
It has to do with the fact that they have different .apk's for different gpus in different phones, the games are optimized for specific gpu's, that's why they look so good. The market doesn't allow multiple apk's or detect phone gpus so they can't put it up there properly.

When you buy a game from them they require your phone model to give you the right one.

One game that I can heartily recommend is Majesty. Plays pretty much like the PC version. I'm in the same boat as you otherwise, just got a g2, only had a g1 beforehand, in which I ran nesoid and gensoid, nes and genesis emulators.
I did run across some apps about emulating Heroes of Might and Magic 2 and the Baulders Gates/Planscape Torment games...but you need the data files from the games, so either have to own em or....
Search Pelya (the maker) for those. I havn't been able to test them out fully yet, looking for my old discs now >.<

Wow i have both of them original versions ,please tell me how they can be launched on the our little machines and if they are not too slow?
By the way i am still looking forward ADOM and Fallout distribution if it is possible.

Yeah I would kill for Fallout, never really got into the BG series. As such I don't own the first one, and after reading more gemRB is only allows bg2 demo, so didn't bother.
Free Heroes 2 on the other hand, works pretty well. Was just playing some Heroes of Might and Magic 2.
Quick run down on what you have to do.
Download Free Heroes 2 on your g2/desire z
Install HoMM2 on your computer, go into the game files, copy the data folder, go into your sd card and put the data folder in "app-data/net.sourceforge.fheroes2"
You will most likely have to make the sourceforge folder.
Now start the game, make sure the "where to download application data" tab is pointed to your sd card, and then go to "downloads" tab, click game data I guess? Then dl midi music and essential map pack, get the additional and mega map pack if you wish, and any of the translations.
Now you should be able to run the game, but will run into the issue i had, crashing after the first turn I imagine
SO, remount your phone to the pc, open up your sourceforge.fheroes2 folder, and look for "fheroes2.cfg"
Open it with notepad, then look for "videomode = 640x480"
Change it to "videomode = 800x480" and save. Now should run with no issues...hopefully. I tested a few turns then attacked a graveyard....suffice to say I died
Took me a little bit of scouring to figure out exactly how to get it to run, and still havn't messed with any of the more indepth tweaks, so if you figure out some that work real well, be sure to pass them along

2 player games

Hi i will have my SGS2 soon and i have brought the mrs a Galaxy ace as its her first smart phone and very cheap indeed.
I was woundering if there any 2 player games that we both can play against eachother from eachothers phones,
I no apples phones have games like this but i really havnt a clue with android as im slightly rusty with it tbh and never really had any freinds with an android device.
I've come across a few and they tend to be turn based games rather than real-time. There's a whole bunch of Scrabble derivatives (Words with friends, wordfeud, wordsmith), a few for chess (chess-presso is the only one I've tried but I know there are others) and one that I particularly like is Pool Break which lets you play pool, snooker, and a couple of other games.
For real-time gaming the only one I know of is Homerun Battle 3D which is quite good fun. I'm sure there are others but that should get you started.

Isn't mini squadron multiplayer? That's a fun little game.
so there is a few then, id concider playing any game against the mrs!
if you like starcraft, try starfront from gameloft, very nice detailed game, and very nice to play against friends (and your mrs if she likes that kind of games.)
Edit: they have multiplayer on most games, so check out their website. I believe they also have some nice racing games etc.

what games are compatible with Chainfire3D

Hello all,
I would like to play all of the awesome new titles coming out but it seems like NONE of them are compatible with my shinny new GS2. I know the GS2 has the juice to run these games flawlessly but their simply not available and don't work... Could someone help me out and let me know if it is possible to play these games with Chainfire 3D?
Shadowgun
9MM
Modern Combat 2 (3 when it is released..)
GT Racing
It is simply rediculas we own the most powerful device on the market and we can't play the best games because the devs are too lazy to follow standards
Well I've been fighting with this phone since day one to get these to work... I have the nvdia plug in and i changed the market settings and still nothing. I know i can go off market and get them... But i prefer to pay the devs for their apps.

[Q] Best gameloft games?

I'm looking at getting a couple gameloft games for my Xperia Play (R800x, Verizon).
what I'm looking at/for is something that will last me awhile, 10+ hours of gameplay preferably with good re-playability, in the following categories.
First Person shooter/Third Person shooter- Something like MC3(is it any good with Xperia play gamepad?) NOVA, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six®: Shadow Vanguard HD, Ive tried 9MM and don't really like it.
RPG/MMORPG- Order and Chaos or DH2 (Ive got DH3 already)
Action/Adventure-Sacred Odyssey, Avatar.
These would all be from Gameloft's mobile store, due to the fact they accept Paypal. Ive got enough for 2 games right now.
MC 2 and 3 have a very active multiplayer, as does NOVA 2. Shadow Vanguard is great but the multiplayer is dead, noone plays anymore. DH2 is my favorite game on here and I would say is very re-playable.
None of these games are so great that I'd call them very re-playable, and in fact I probably wouldn't pay full price either as Gameloft often has sales where they sell em for only a buck. Although its been a while.
Modern combat 3 is my favourite, xperia play controls are great on the WAPstore version. Multiplayer is great too
hmm ok, what about Sacred Odyssey and Order and Chaos?

Certain Tegra apps/games not showing up?

I purchased deadspace which I used to have my LG Thrill, but on my Galaxy S III it doesn't even show in the market. However games such as Modern Combat 3, Soulcraft THD, and Mass Effect Infiltrator show up.
Also, Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode II shows up, but not the THD version.
Unless there's a newer Tegra 3 plugin for chainfire I wasn't able to find (I'm only aware of the Nvidia zip), is there a way to get these to appear? By doing this the Play Store forces us to acquire the games by other means.. which is ridiculous since I'm willing to pay/have already paid in the first place.
