I'm enjoying my Galaxy note, but I'm badly looking for extra batteries and external charger. Where one battery is enough for most I need to use 3 batteries in a day for the kind of usage I do.
Anyone with any information of Galaxy Note please post here.
Thank you
Anil
They sell batteries and chargers at expansys.co.uk, but I dont think they have the items in stock yet.
To confirm, expansys does sell Galaxy Note batteries as well as a charger for the battery (a charger that will directly charge the battery instead of having to swap them into/out-of your phone). However, they won't get them in for a while, as their site listed in-stock arrival date as late november. However, for your heavy usage you may want to check out the "ZaggSparq 2.0" from Zagg, the makers of invisibleSHIELD. It's basically a battery that you plug into the wall and then bring with you and it has two USB ports to charge, and it will charge up the Note's battery a couple times over. Here are the specs:
6,000 mAh Lithium Polymer
Has the power to charge most smart phones four times
4 yellow lights indicate power level, 25%-50%-75%-100%
Has the ability to charge multiple USB devices simultaneously
Max output: 2000mA @ 5V
Power Source: 100-240 VAC @ 50/60 Hz
Physical Size 3.5 x 3.5 x 1 inches
Weight 8.6 ounces
Just something to check out. Google it for more info (I would post a link but I don't have a high enough post count to do so).

They're superb.

hi there!, I am also looking to buy an extra battery, could you tell me where can I find a spare?
thanks!
I just ordered a these from ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-2600mAh-...514884?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3a6ccd9284
two batteries for 10 dollars and free shipping. what a steal.
Quality is, ofcourse, unknown, but some extra juice always comes in handy.
There are various external chargers showing up on ebay now.
They appear oto be YiboYuan chargers - I have one for my mytouch 4g and I was pretty happy with it.

That's my kind of a smartphone user! I have te same problemwith my Note. And it is really annoying...
The best advice you will ever hear....maybe not so applicable to the note....
Every phone you or your friends buy, buy the extra 3 batteries and wall charger off ebay for $12.
Men - put one in your wallet, it is the thickness of about 4 credit cards
Women - put it in your purse.
Unlimited battery life!

D seven battery ebay uk
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150701181...81619&_sacat=See-All-Categories&_fvi=1&_rdc=1
top selling battery brand for samsung galaxy note in East at moment, and i have done many search about d seven galaxy Note battery .the feedback not bad,so i recommed d-seven .
Backup batteries don't need to be super quality - just enough to last you till you can get your other battery charged.
All you need is one of these, TeckNet Yoobao Series - Dual-Port 11200mAh External Battery Pack http://www.amazon.co.uk/TeckNet-Yoobao-Dual-Port-11200mAh-Blackberry/dp/B000X30AYA
Ive had one for a while now and they are a complete lifesaver... charge the phone completely 2x at least, and its compact and good looking. I wouldnt waste my cash on crappy batteries when you can buy stuff like this that does the job 100x better and can be used on almost any device you have. Simples.

yeah i need to see those reviews too.
i had tecknet external charger once , bought it from their website (not from amazon), the 8000mah dual usb port , and to be honest it was a total rip off !!! it charges my desire HD very very slow ! (slower than normal USB charging) and it only worked for a few hours !!! after that it just didt charge anything at all !!!!
i returned it for refund or replacement and till now i got nothing! they claim they didnt get the unit yet and its been 3 months , add to that the shipping and unit return fees were handled by me.
so its a pretty bad experience with tecknet , if i were u , i would stay away bcos their products r very unreliably so does their support.

Did you send it back to them by RECORDED delivery and signature? If not then you really have no-one to blame but yourself, as if it was sent igned and recorded then you have PROOF that it was sent and recieved.
I'm thinking of getting 2600mAh replacement battery soon.

Highly doubtful 2000ma batteries, probably 1500ma batteries that are really 1300ma. Tutoit on ebay I have 2x1500ma batteries for a 9.98$ shipped with a charger, I would get that instead.

I was just looking at this... seems like a great idea... the extra charger allows you to keep a second battery charged without using the EVO to do it. Even if it's really a lower rated battery... still a good deal.

I have a set of the 1500 mah batteries with the charger as was posted above, and I have no problem with them. I use my OEM battery most of the time, but sometimes it is handy to have some fully-charged back-ups. Honestly, I don't see much of a difference between what my OEM battery lasts and the knock-offs. For the price, you can't beat it.
so how are the batteries?
normally i would stay way from cheap Chinese crap on eBay, but with what i read here on the xda boards in regaurds t othe ok qualitybeing good enough that they might work out, so i ordered 2x1850 plus charger from ebay. i dont have time to do any real testing but i can say that:
1 not having to charge the battery from the phone is nice
2 i always have one on the charger, one in my pocket and one in the phone.
3 charging in the base seems to get me a better charge
4 i cant tell a difference between oem and knock offs, although you would think that the 1800's would last longer than the 1500oem but we know how that knock off crap goes. in my book if they are the same as oem, regardless as to what they claim and dont require a bigger back plate, then i guess that's good enough.
The 2 from tutoit or what ever the sellers name is work great last as long or longer then my stock battery. The charger also gives a better charge to the batteries then I get through my phone I'm talking extra hours when I charge with it.

I got this and it's a good deal for the price.
The batteries aren't as good as oem. Probably last 75-80% as long.
The charger works well though and it's nice to have a couple extra batts laying around. I've only cycled them 4 or 5 times so I suppose the life could improve...time will tell.

I Have a number of Minor issues with mine. Must of gotten a bad set.
1) USB port on the charger does not output enough juice to charge the phone (Accually Locks it up until I unplug it)
2) Charger seems hit or miss on recharging the Stock Battery. I've left it plugged in all night and come back to ~20% charge when I pop it in a number of times
3) Random Screen cut off when charging the Replacements IN the phone.
So I only charge the Ghetto batteries in the charger provided.
That being said, I STILL think it's a great deal and more than happy with my purchase. I have 2 spare batteries for my phone (Or the wifes CDMA Hero) and a way to charge one w/o having to leave my phone behind (I don't have to babysit my phone for a charge, If someone walks out of the poker room or party with my charger and battery it's no big deal) The 2 China batts. are just emergency tanks, The Red one gets put back in as soon as I get home.
Best Purchase at twice the price.
Don't wait press the BUY NOW!!!!
Loved the first set so much that I purchased a second set 2 weeks later. I keep 1 set at work and 1 set at home. I always carrying a fully charged battery in plastic bag in my pocket. I love the EVO but hate the battery life. The first month I owned the EVO was hell for me having to carry a power charger and cable everywhere. I hated having to plug my phone in every time I found a power outlet worried if I didn't I may find myself without a phone when I needed it or having to fight everyone at the airports for power outlets. Now when I'm low on juice, I just switch batteries.... BUY NOW you'll never regret it....
I purchased 2 3500 batteries with new backs on e-bay for $22 and change. They work great I can go for over a day with fairly heavy usage.
Only minor problem was that with the phone thicker my silicone case doesn't fit as good. Extra weight no problem.
Yeah one thing I have learned from buying these types of batteries and charger is that they don't like to charge the OEM batteries but charge the cheapo ones just fine. I've noticed it on alot of things not just phone batteries.
buy it for the charger
i bought a 2000mAh that turned out to be a 900mAh so i would only buy it for the charger.
I wouldn't recommend the 2 x 1500 batteries plus charters the 1500's seem like a 1300 or a little less I would say try get the 1800 one from eBay they have a lot of auctions for them so all you gotta do is be patient and try to get for cheap that's what I'm tryin to do
Just ordered one of the 1800mah.. will see how this works out!

official Samsung products as according to the Samsung manual, none Samsung batteries & chargers may damage your device:
Official Samsung Galaxy Note Holder and Battery Charger
Official Samsung Galaxy Note Replacement Battery:
I'm afraid I'm not allowed to post external links at this time, but if anyone would care to intercede on my behalf and post relevant product link or simply copy&paste to Google search.

I had 3 batteries with mine old Desire and it takes time to charge all 3 full. Note takes 3Hx2= 6H.
This time I wanna try out portable battery pack instead and can also charge other device too if needed.
I never used portable battery pack before and just dont know which brands are good or bad ones.
Anyway, I might go for New Trent one, small/light and 11000mah sounds good. Just the cheap price makes me wonder how good can it be?

And thanks all for suggestions.
The TeckNet iEP380-II 7000mAh I ordered from Amazon.co.uk appears to work fine.
It charged the battery from 40% to 73% in around 1:20 whilst I was watching TV tonight (including the last episode of Dexter, Eek!). I had the Wi-fi on, updated a couple of apps and played with the phone quite a bit, so I'm fairly happy with that.
I'm using Sanyo mobile booster 5000mAh costing around SGD$70~

I have this one too & can confirm that it's a great little battery pack. It's already saved me a few times in the 2 weeks that I've had it.
Momax iPower Pro Portable Battery Pack
Hi, everyone!
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note and I´m thinking of buying the Momax iPower Pro 8000mAh Universal Portable Battery Pack. Does anyone have any experience with it?
Or can you maybe suggest something similar?
Thanks!
I have ordered one of these http://portablepowersupplies.co.uk/portapowPremium.htm still waiting on delivery but it should work great for the Note when far from a wall socket.
I have the phonesuit primo...nothing but praise for this portable battery. I have only filled it up two or three times in the year that I have had it, but it doesn't seem to lose power over time. I use it for emergencies in charging my Galaxy Tab, and have used it to charge my Nokia E71 and a few friends iPhones. Looks nice as well.
I got mine New Trent iCruiser IMP1000 11000mAh and just for 1 week.
It came with around 75% charged (3 LED lighted) and icould charge the Note from 10-15% both times., still got 1 led left. Then I put it on charge overnight and it took around 14H before fully charged.
From 15% to 100% took around 2H 40min and less then Samsung charger that took 3H 30 min.
Thats is something weird about the 3 leds that display how much battery is left, donnu if it display correct about how much battery left its on the battery pack.
From fully charged, it drops from 3 leds to 1 led in around 2H charge time on mine Note. Donnu if the 3 leds are displaying wrong about how much battery is left, or I need to recharge it few times, before it reach full potential of the battery pack?
Or just the battery pack dont have that 11000 mah juice as the spec say its?
One minor problem, I have, is it cant charge mine bluetooth SonyEricsson MW600, it start to charge it for a while and then stop keep charging it. Had to unplug the microusb cable and replug it to charge it.
Well, gonna wait until recharge it few more times and see how it goes. Right now recharging it for 2 time and update later for more "reviews".
New Trent iCruiser IMP1000 11000mAh
i'm about to take the leap for New Trent iCruiser IMP1000 11000mAh , one last thing , any users who own one can say the pros and cons for it , it aint a cheap unit to purchase, im quite convinced about it but u know , just need the final confirmtion from xda community
cheers

I don't see why the cheap eBay ones (~$5) wouldn't work with an extended battery. (The cutout/space for the battery is the same size/shape as the one in the back of the phone)
But, it's only a couple of bucks more to get a charger with 1 or 2 (regular-size) batteries... might as well get a couple of spares?

I've been using mine for 6+ months, with no ill effects. (On both my Epic 4G and Epic 4G Touch - it's awesome that my backup phone uses the same size battery!)
Bought my cheap eBay charger for ~$10 with a "2200mAh" battery - I haven't noticed any longer life than my 1800mAh original. (It's probably that same "Chinese math" that gives us 4000W car audio amplifiers for $39.)
I have noticed that both batteries don't seem to be fully charged by this external charger - they show 100% when installed in my phone, but neither lasts quite as long compared to if they were charged in the phone. But, this is a small price to pay for having a (mostly) charged battery, ready to go at all times.
UPDATE: I bought some of the "Anker" brand batteries suggested in this thread, and they last a lot longer than the $4 ebay ones I was using previously. $20 for 2 good batteries + universal charger (Amazon) was worth it.

I've purchased several non-OEM batteries (and chargers) from cheap Chinese sellers, and had zero problems. The only battery I've ever had fail was the original Samsung battery in my Epic 4G. (It's slightly "puffed", and doesn't hold much of a charge anymore.)

UPDATE: My battery life was getting a little short, so I bought the Anker's suggested in this thread. The life is noticeably longer than my cheap eBay batteries. Not sure if they wore out sooner, or if they were poor to begin with. Either way, the ones you suggested last a lot longer. Thanks for the tip!
Hello.
At this moment i use the Stock/original Samsung Battery (2.100 mAh) and Charger ( Out: 6.0V 1.0A, Input : 0,15A )
I want to buy a better battery and charger my Samsung Galaxy s3 GT-I9300 ( Germany, when it is interesting to know, no branding )
But i don't want to buy a low quality china sh*t ( it should have a Producer warranty and have to life longer than 1 day or 2 weeks )
Also i don't want to turn my S3 into Big Phone...
It was nice when the battery should fit with the Original Case.
I found this one ( youtube.com / watch?v=BBJUj-ZgpTo - Sorry for tricking, but i can't post fully links ;o. ).
I think this battery is a nice one.
It doesnt fit with the original case, but its okay.
Maybe you know better Batterys for the Same case from the 3000mAh Battery from samsung?
And are the 900mAh more from the Samsung battery good?
about how many % life this battery longer than the orignal one !?
And yes...
I looking for a new and better Charger than the Orignal Samsung one.
Maybe one with a xtra large USB cable is nice .
Hope u can help me.
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and wonderfull Days .
Sorry for my bad english.
I'm from Germany
I am runing the Anker Battery from amazon and it has been working well for 3+ months
yes.
Maybe i take a battery with a much bigger case...
But first i want a smart one ...
I think the big one like this or the "lemon" make the phone too ugly :/.
And i dont need a battery life about 3 days .
i will be happy if it stay for 24hours by normal use with musik streaming and sometimes little bit gaming .
As far as chargers go, I'd say stock is pretty much as good as it gets. Other chargers you buy don't come with warranties and they don't provide stable output (referring to those colourful ones made in China...)
Okay... ?
Bus are there difference between the Samsung Charger?
My Black one need about the Double of time too recharge as the White one, my father got with his Note2

The black one comes with your s3, has lower output than note3 charger. Note 2 has higher battery so they have a higher charger output so that it charges fast too. I'm not sure whether charging s3 at the higher rate will affect battery lifespan though.
I bought a used Galaxy S III and the battery would barely last a day. I went to my local BatteriesPlus store and picked up a standard 7100mah. I have had no complaints...it will last me about 10-12hrs with moderate/heavy usage. It works with NFC and they also have extended batteries and covers available.

I am running the Anker 4400mah and using Anker charger. Both have 180 day-no hassle warranty, and the customer service is top notch. The charge time is longer on larger batteries, however; if you buy two or cycle between standard batt and extended batt, you will never be without a charged battery. Personally, I run 2 Anker 4400mah and using their charger. At $20 a piece- well worth the price.
Run time varies based on usage, there are a lot of threads on this. For me-I usually get 1-2 days with heavy usage. Games, bluetooth emails, speaker phone, music player, ect.
I have also modded a trident case and otterbox to accommodate the size. You can get both on Amazon.
Hope this helps

Zero Lemon has served me well for the last six months or so. Just the other day I got 5 hours of screen time on Omega Rom 53. The charger is rubbish, though.
Personally, I would prefer to buy a spare stock battery, and keep it in the car,bag or my coat. Rather do that than take the chance with third party batteries.
Whoever voted that you only get an extra hour out of the battery clearly doesn't have one.

Yeah, I get many more hours with a 3300mah. I can get almost 2 days running 4.4.2 with moderate usage and lots of screen brightness. I like the 3300 as it keeps the for factor of the phone so all the cases fit. The 7000 is tempting though!! :highfive:
How about the ones that fit stock case what have people found to work the best
I went with this. Keeps the stock form. Get some good life with it. Def more than a day. Depends on the ROM.

Look what i've found yesterday...
What did you think about this one ?!

Just ordered a Zenfone 2 to replace my old S3. Love the phone, but hate the non-removable battery. Took the leap anyway because of the price. What are your best recommendations for battery backup units in the ~6000 mAh, ~12000 mAh, and ~20000+ mAh ranges? I figure I can snag a small backup that can fit in a pocket and a larger one I can leave in my car/bag/backpack. Which ones have you guys experienced that are long lasting and charge effectively? Ones that are resilient? Anything to the gimmicky seeming solar charging backup units from the like of ZeroLemon or another producer?
Aukey has a "Quick Charge 2.0" battery pack that should quick charge the phone way faster than any other option out there. Other than that I'd just watch the usual deal forums, etc. to find well reviewed models on sale.
My assumption has always been that tiny solar panels probably take forever to replenish your battery pack, but I can't say I have any firsthand experience.

The Aukey ones work well, I have 2 of them and they quick charge just fine and will give you ~2-2.5 charges depending on your usage while charging.

They are surprisingly cheap! $30.00 on Amazon for a 10,000 mAh version. That looks like a good rec. Do you have any experience with ones in the range of 20-30k mAh?

I would ONLY buy Anker brand. a lot of usb mobile batteries dont have power output to charge a phone that is also in use, and also have a heavy degradation after multiple uses. I was in a jam and bought a second battery at a CVS when i was out of town on business once and left my Anker brand at home, and after 3 uses it no longer could charge my phone faster than i was using it (talking on the phone).

Is the lifespan of Anker brand backups well known to be good? I'm thinking I'll buy two of the same unit so I can quickly swap them out of my bag when they die.
I'm getting the Mi Power Bank...the 10000 mah version can be had for $14 usd. Only downside is you have to wait for the "flash" sale. There will be one tonight at 9 central time(US).
Why don't you guys try the Asus Zenpower. I bought it with my phone for a package deal and looks very solid! Small too.. though its heavy.

I looked at getting one....however Asus wanted to charge $14 for ground shipping....ordered the Mi Power bank earlier....and they charged $5 to ship. With stock in the US, there is no way Asus should be charging that much for ground....Express shouldn't cost that much! Also....I wanted the Mi Band lol
I ended up ordering two of the 13000 mAh and one 6400 mAh backup, all from Anker. They were all Amazon Prime so I got free fast shipping, and they offer their version of Quick Charge so it should be a solid option for me. I'll update with my experience after I've had them for a bit if anyone cares.

Oh I am sorry to hear that man. Did you check eBay? Coz i got mine with the phone. If i deduct the phone price, the zenpower was only $10 plus shipping was free coz it was with the phone anyway. Mi is equally good. I am done with massive brands such as Samsung.. we mostly end up paying for their advertising, marketing and brand name.
